PVM Concrete

Had the best experience with PVM company. These guys are amazing. Started my driveway and back yard on Monday and finished Tuesday. Removed asphalt and put concrete. These Guys were here on time and ready to work.
Darrell was the one in charge of the job .I’m satisfied with the work and the professionalism of the crew. I decided to add diamond shapes last minute and he took care of it with no problem. Forgot to mention all my back yard was concrete and asphalt I talked to Darrell about leaving a piece to plant grass and he gladly did it. Thank you guys!

I had an interesting experience. It started off great. They did nice concrete work. The price was reasonable. They were timely and completed the work to our liking. We then rehired them to put in artificial turf in our backyard and front yard. The contractor seemed knowledgeable. Showed me pictures of «work they had completed.» We paid them $ 9 a sqft which was a competitive price. The turf was put in on a base that was clearly not compacted or put down properly. The turf was wrinkly, bubbly, had raised areas from large rocks, lifted all along the edges and had VERY noticeable seams. It was a mess. We expressed concern. The contractor stated he would fix it by adding more sand, and would get a «seamer» to fix the seams. The sand took 3 months to be installed and only after weekly phone calls, texts and emails. The sand did not fix our concerns. The «seamer» did not come back to complete the seam job as the contractor did not agree to pay him. To say we were frustrated would be an understatement. The lack of communication was ludicrous. The contractor, Fred stated he no longer was in the concrete, paver or turf business. His guys then told me that they were booked with work for the next two months through him. Shady to say the least. Very disappointed. This company has two different Unilocal accounts. That’s gotta say something about their ethics.

I dealt with Fred. My complaint is not there ability to do the work in a professional manner. They seemed very capable of this. My complaint is with the negotiations. Apparently at PVM, if the client questions a contract price, there practice is to simply say, «sorry you feel that way «and than leave your job completely unfinished, with a huge hole in your garage. I have done my fair share of contracts on both sides of the coin, and I have never just walked away or been walked away from because the client wanted to negotiate the price or questioned the work??? Especially in the construction world, the price is always negotiable. They left me high and dry and now I have to find another Concrete company (which wont be hard) to finish their work. My suggestion is to make sure you have your price before any work begins because if you question it later, and history teaches us anything, they will just leave your job!

They did a SPECTACULAR job on my total yard redo. They did exactly what they said they would, and made great recommendations along the way. The workers were polite and courteous and left the job clean every day. Shawn quoted the job perfectly and had a lot of great ideas. My yard looks amazing and strangers stop all the time to ask us who did it if they catch us outside. I can’t say enough good things about them. Great job!

I want to thank this company for doing such an amazing job in my backyard. They are by far the best contractors I’ve ever had do work at my home for the 28 years I’ve lived here. They arrived on time, they did their work, they cleaned their area everyday and also, all the workers were very nice. I highly recommend this company for any concrete work that needs to be done.
