History

Established in 1992.

Two presbyterian churches in La Mirada merged together in 1992. In 1994, the current location opened to begin a new journey to be a witness to our King, Jesus Christ.

This really is an amazing Preschool!!! My son is ready to graduate from preschool next week and I only have wonderful things to say about the school, teachers and other staff. Everyone is great!!! My son LOVES it. I wish we had known about this school sooner for my daughter (currently in 2^nd grade). My son is ready for kindergarten because of this preschool. They teach them academics, teach them to be social and also to be responsible. The teachers are the best you can find! It’s small but that’s what makes it so great! It is pretty affordable compared to the other preschools in the neighborhood. If you have little ones you cannot go wrong going here.

I had my wedding here on April 2013. The church was just right.
I had both my ceremony and reception here and it was just perfect for about 150 people.
The sanctuary is what drew us to this location. The stain glass windows made for beautiful wedding photos.
The wedding coordinator and all the other folks were so helpful and def patient.
We also loved the fact that there was a gazebo out back to make for more interesting photos.
With the wedding package… The price was just right as well.

I love this preschool! I had one child go there for 2 years and now currently have my 3 year old there. Ms. Mary and Ms. Robin are my favorites. :) They are so great with the 3 year olds. Ms. Pat is the director and runs it very smoothly. Worth every penny and is perfect if you want your little one to get away for 3 hours and enjoy school and learn how to be a student. Highly recommended!!!

This is a review for the church as a wedding venue. I coordinated a wedding there last weekend and attended a wedding as a guest a few months back.
CPCLM has a *beautiful* sanctuary for ceremonies. Seriously BEAUTIFUL! Huge stained glass windows right behind the pulpit/altar area with a not-too-small size for guests. I think they can seat around 300 for ceremonies.
They also have a smaller reception area that is less stunning, but perfectly adequate if you want the convenience of a ceremony & reception in the same venue. There’s a kitchen available, and they have round tables and chairs available if you want to borrow them.
The grounds are pretty too. Lots of grass, a few benches, a small gazebo… Marilyn was our main contact and she and her «intern» wedding planner ran the show on the day of. She’s the person you want to reach out to if you have questions/requests!
