I’m happy to see that they have Dr earth soils… But why don’t they carry acidic soil? They sell blueberries and other acidic loving plants, what are you supposed to plant them in? Now I have to go around and look for acidic soil. Ugh! Not convenient.

DON’T WALK… RUN!!! I would highly recommend that you NOT order floors from this location! The people working there don’t know what the hell they’re doing!!! Between two of them they couldn’t figure out how to place an order for carpet AND tile. They told us we would have to order one or the other. We should have left right then and there, but nooooo… So we went ahead and ordered carpets and they put a «note» in the order that we wanted laminate too. —we actually wanted tile but they typed in laminate— They set an appointment for us to meet with the«designer» who would take measurements and document what we wanted. Well, no designer came out, only someone taking measurements, who btw said he only had an order for carpets not tile. By then we were fed up with the La Mirada store and transferred our order to the Anaheim store. The tile we wanted was a special order so we had to wait 2 – 3 weeks for it to arrive and another 2 – 3 weeks to get an appointment for the installation. We were not informed that the tile automatically came with baseboards(we were told it would be quarter round). When we went to order them they started characterizing it as «changing our minds», which would later lead to them coping an attitude with us that we’re ALWAYS changing our mind. Well they laid the tiles, but brought too many but not enough baseboards. WE had to go pick up the extra baseboards and take back the extra tile(which they wanted to charge us an extra 15% for the restocking fee). Anyway, the guy that installed the baseboard said he would come back with the carpet layers to finish the job, but he never showed up. When we called to inquire about it, they told us that we never asked for baseboards in the living room. Yeah, that’s the look we were going for, baseboards in the foyer with unfinished corners sticking out into the living room! Seriously? Then we were told that there would be an extra charge for putting them in the living room. THISJUSTKEEPSGETTINGBETTERANDBETTER!!! As for the shortage of carpeting(oh yeah did I forget to mention that?), it would take 2 – 3 weeks to get in and another 2 – 3 weeks to get an appointment to install it. Meanwhile all of my furniture is in the garage and we’re living like cavemen. What really gets me going is that the customer service department treats us like spoiled children who need to be scolded! Even the corporate customer care center hasn’t been that helpful. Sooooo… hopefully this nightmare will be over soon. This is really an indictment on the entire franchise but I think it started with the La Mirada store.

Went in looking for some paint for a little project a friend and I were working on, Leiah in the paint department walked us through the whole process and explained what paint was best for what job. Awesome customer service and communication skills. Leiah is your girl to go to for any of your questions about paint. Keep up the good work!

Worst Home Depot ever in the entire chain. Please someone close this store and and retrain all employees. I left my ID at home wanted to return the wrong items that I bought which was about $ 55.00 dollars and they refused to even give me store credit without ID. Found an old ID in my car and they still wouldn’t let me return. Out of curiosity asked the manager why they would let me buy something on my credit card without a valid ID but won’t let me return for store credit. She just smiled and said, «computer lets us do that.»

Horrible experience! had receipts for items tried to return them but because I bought a Home Depot gift card and use it towards part of the purchase they would not let me return the extra items lesson learned don’t buy Home Depot gift cards ever!

nothing special. Has the basics. Seems small compared to the one in Whittier and Cerritos. Very limited halloween stuff. Don’t need to go back here. Staff was helpful, though. Thanks

Good luck trying to get useful help and be prepared to wait for the usual one checker… as if they pay checkers $ 50 and hour and cannot afford to have more at least as backup for busy times.

I went to Home Depot yesterday to get supplies to make a potty pad for my dog that had been attacked by a coyote earlier that day. I couldn’t find the items I needed so I found an employee in the appliance department and she proceeded to show me where the items were and then decided to take me to each item. One of the items was a metal grate and I asked her if they could cut it and she said they don’t do that. She then took me to the artificial grass and we were waiting for the employee to cut it she said she would be right back and when she returned she said she spoke to the manager and that the gentleman would be able to help me with the cutting of the grate and grass to fit the size I needed. I was so grateful for her assistance and the gentleman that help me also. Awesome customer service! Thanks again

Just the fact that trying to get in touch with someone… anyone at their store is totally not going to happen; is definitely a one star. I tried calling their store four times, dialed zero to speak with a customer service representative, was on hold the four times for at least over 10 minutes each call. Hung up each time… tried it again hoping the next time they wouldn’t take as long! Wrong!

No one is ever in their department and no one can ever help you. But you can take your pet so that’s cool.

Since purchasing my home in February, I feel as though I have been to Home Depot about 100 times. This HD, in particular, has a very nice vibe. The staff is always friendly and that makes the customers feel happy. We’ve already come across a few projects that we needed to do and we didn’t have a clue as to how to tackle them. The wonderful employees helped us out and we were able to do them. If it weren’t for many of them, I’d already have spent so much more to have professionals come out to do things that we were able to do. They are definitely motivators and that’s why I love this HD.

Was on hold for such a long time. Then when I inquired about outdoor lights she transferred me and I wait yet again a long time. The whole entire call lasted 20+ min for a simple inquiry. We talked with Manager Jose about holding the lights and we would be in within 5 min and he told us they don’t do that.

Nice customer service. Ordered an Air Conditioner online for In-Store Pick Up. We had no problems and this was the only location that had the specific air conditioner we were after in stock(:

Excellent customer service. I love the attention we received from Cowboy even though they were about to close he still helped us pick the perfect stove to cook our thanksgiving turkey. We did a lot of remodeling in our home last year and every time we went to get supplies and had questions everyone was so nice and helpful.

Place is as massive as all the other Home Depot locations I have visited. More cluttered though than other branches. You have to maneuver to get out of the way of other people and their giant carts loaded with supplies. Staff was helpful, but they did not have what I needed. Oh well.

This Home Depot is suck because there’s not enough employees helping the customers needs help. Going to the pro desk the employee doesn’t know how to search by their computer from the customers information for there business.

I don’t have any complaints of this Home Depot, every time I come in I find what I’m looking for and the items are always at the same place. This is what is so great about this Home Depot if you been shopping here for a long time you know exactly where things are. Also I want to comment on their air-conditioning it’s fucking hot in here LOL.

I usually get everything I need here. It’s clean and has mostly everything you need for a home improvement job. The prices are reasonable and most of their tools are insured for life(Husky, Milwaukee, etc.) As an Industrial Electrican I usually shop here since it’s local to me. Overall a good experience!
