Our Optical employees three Certified Opticians– Jeanette Morvant, Sammy Lambert, and Laci Boe’. Our newest addition is Dispensing Optician– Brandi Anderson. We fabricate prescription and non prescription eyewear. We repair and adjust eyeglasses. Our specialty is rimless frames and Varilux premium progressive lenses. We have a large selection of designer frames and Sunwear. We currently use the latest technology in lenses and 3-​d measurements.

History

Established in 1987.

Dr Ronald Aslett and Dr Philip Kurica opened the Optical in 1987 to compliment Aslett Kurica Eyecenter. We have always been located next to the Eyecenter. Our home was on Airline for the first 15 years, until we moved to Belle Terre Blvd in November of 2002. We love our new home and we take pride in offering the latest technology in eyewear today.

Vision Store of LaPlace has been serving the River Parishes for 25 years, nine of which I have had the pleasure of working. I am a certified optician fitting premium eyewear with the latest in lens technology. I love helping customers choose frames and lenses that best suit their needs.
