History

Established in 2014.

When David Potts and his family moved to Houston in 2013, they wanted to make the move special for all — so they bought a house with a pool, or as is often said «We bought a pool, it came with a house!» David has spent over 30 years as a self-​employed entrepreneur, with a strong background in Building and Carpentry, and also served as a pastor. As he was looking into service for his new pool, he decided he could learn a new business easier that going back out to compete with men younger than himself as a builder/​carpenter in a new area, so he went to work for a pool service company. After about 6 months, he decided to begin Freedom Pool Service of the Bay Area, named for his sailboat. He joined BBB, APEC, and IPSSA (Independent Pool and Spa Service Association, Inc), where he has received guidance from other professional pool servicemen, Water Chemistry certification, Pool Equipment certification, and serves as the Treasurer of the Clear Lake chapter of IPSSA. I want to give you the best pool service you can get for your dollar. I have passed the IPSSA Basic Water Chemistry Certification as well as the IPSSA Basic Pool Equipment Certification. I belong to the local BBB, and I am the treasurer of the newly formed Clear Lake chapter of IPSSA (Independent Pool & Spa Service Association). When you trust me with the care and maintenance of your pool & spa, I want you to know that you are working with a professional in the pool & spa industry. I will continue to grow and learn so as to always be able to provide increasingly excellent service.
