This is my second time here and I have to say I love my hair thanks Patty you’re the best stylist will for sure keep coming here great customer service and my hair is always how I wanted.

Don’t bother making reservations, we made reservations a week before the event I left a small deposit and I was very clear to her that We needed to be out of their by 4:30pm so we schedule an appointment at 2pm we got there on time, but to my surprise Patty the owner the one I made an appointment with and was clear on my timeline was the only one working according to her one of the other stylist had an emergency and another one was attending a makeup expo. When we arrived Patty was working on another girl and I reminded her about my time she assured me it would be ok. Well it wasn’t we where out at 4:50pm with a hair style she thought looked like the picture we showed her and we silver eyeshadow and pink lipstick. NOT what my daughter wanted. Thanks Patty for ruining my Daughter Prom day. I will never recommend this place and that’s why I didn’t leave you a tip.

I had high hopes for this salon and I really wanted to become a frequent here. I’m no baby to hair extensions, this wasn’t my first time getting them done.
First let’s start off with the fact that I had to wait almost an hour for my stylist to start on me. I was scheduled at 9, came in at 9, and got in the chair at 9:50. We spoke about 3 words during the whole visit. It was so awkward.
Second, the stylist didn’t bother to straighten or curl my hair after putting the extensions in. I’ve been to a lot of salons and every single one of them have offered to curl or straighten, or at least try to blend the extensions.
Third, the thing that angered me the most was when I decided to give her a $ 20 tip. She uttered a low «thanks» and didn’t even bother to look at me and walked away. I wanted to give her only $ 12 but I was feeling generous. How ungrateful can someone be? I wasn’t even given EYE CONTACT. It made me feel really awkward. Im not one to complain but that’s Customer Service 101. I honestly contemplated asking for the $ 20 back.
Fourthly, I usually don’t care about the salon itself, time, the stylist, anything used on my hair, etc. The only thing I want is quality. My individual beaded extensions fell off in less than 2 weeks. I’d start by brushing my hair with a wet brush, put my hair in my pony tail, or simply just run my fingers through. After a few days, it was very obvious that I had extensions because they were getting so thin. Went in on 2÷13÷16 and had them out of my head 2÷24÷16. I couldn’t bear to look at them anymore. I had patches of extensions-​less spots I’m the back. I will admit, I have straight thin hair. But 2 week extensions are just ridiculous. This is what I get for cheap-​ing out.
Im dumb for expecting good things here.
After all, it’s true what people say.
The price you pay is the quality you get. Biggest waste of $ 92 I’ve ever spent. ($ 72 + $ 20 tip)
Overall, I won’t be coming back here. I will never recommend this place to my worst enemy.

Had a bad experience with one of the stylist the first time I went for a haircut she completely didn’t do anything close to the cut I wanted. Spoke to patty about her stylist and told me she’ll give a free haircut when ready for another. Second experience with patty was wonderful! Gave me a cut close to what I originally wanted but my hair wasn’t long enough. Will definitely return to go see patty.

Rookie salon I was there 5 hours and I was the only customer you can tell the girl is a beginner took them hours to do a basic black color and cut and they sent me home with black stains in my neck and face — also I had red hair trying to go black and my hair is black with red roots and I told her it was patchy and she said it was the lighting ?! I paid about 80 $ for a patchy color if they can’t execute a basic color I wouldn’t trust them for anything drastic– also they do have extension services but don’t have any supplies you have to order them in advance not professional at all — also there was a rag covered in brown stains and grease oil in the bathroom?

WORST EXPERIENCE I’VE EVER HAD WHICH BARBIES SALON IS BEGGING ME TO REMOVE CALLED ME 3 TIMES TO REMOVE IT, Patty (the store manager) called me a bitch over the phone, all i wanted was for her to see my hair and fix it because it was clearly dyed wrong .
The stylists had 3 fans on while the bleach was in, the bleach wasn’t even activating. I asked Brittany to turn the fan off, she said the lighting would be bad without it, so she didn’t .
When my hair was finished it was all blue, I couldn’t see the results under the blue toner so I came back the next morning and showed the hairstylists. Patty told me over the phone «my hair stylists didn’t mess up your hair» without even seeing my hair.
Even the 2 hair stylists there at the time seen what happened to my hair and told me «I’m so sorry, the person doing your hair completely missed something»
But there manager couldn’t admit to the wrong they did. & didn’t want to give me a refund, it took 2 hours in the store to get my refund back .
My hair came out orange & blue, all I wanted was a simple retouch .
. *if a salon is empty, there’s probably a reason why .
I will never return, NOT WORTH SPENDING YOUR MONEY ON
REPLY: Your salon stylists never once explained a process to me, money isn’t an issue for me I just didn’t want my hair damaged again by unexperienced/​unprofessional «stylist» & for you as a manager to talk to a customer about a money issue MAKES YOU LOOK PATHETIC & if that were the case I would have been offended but that’s not the case & i was not willing to pay to get my hair damaged again especially if it was by a rude manager. And just so everyone knows I was treated with NO RESPECT by PATTY at all, which she is clearly demonstrating in the comment below.

The girl that tried cutting my hair was so terrible! It was like she was too scared to cut my hair/didn’t know what she was doing, she was SO slow, and kept having to go back to another girl to ask her questions on how to cut my hair. Really??! I ended up having to ask the girl she kept going back to if she could just do it herself which she did and actually did a better job than the other girl.

I will definitely be coming back to Maria. She cut my hair exactly how I wanted. Not a half inch shorter. My hair was so long, it literally covered my entire back. Now it’s to my collarbone and you can only imagine how scary it is to chop your hair off. She did an amazing job and now my hair looks so full and healthy! Great price and cute salon. Thank you Maria! :)

Thank you patty for my extensions :) hands down the best extensions I’ve had. I was worried I wouldn’t be able to put my hair in a tight bun since at times it needs to be put that way, but patty made sure I was able to. The shop is super cute and all the ladies there are very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend Barbies Hair Salon :)

I’m so in love with Patty. I don’t just trust my hair with anyone and after spending so many years with one stylist and traveling hours to get my hair extensions done I was over it and wanted to try someone more local.
Patty gave me a phone estimate, in person consultation and accommodated my schedule with two appointments to finish my hair.
I’m so happy and can’t wait for my 6 week extension move up.
For reference I got black micro clip extensions 2 packs and my hair is shoulder length.

So first off I have to apologize to Ms Maria. I promised a review weeks ago after my great experience and I’ve been procrastinating. But, better late than never. I have to say my experience was awesome here Maria was charming and talented i will be returning soon… Thank you so much for the great work on my not so great hair lol

I had Desiree give me a balayage with ombré she is simple awesome. She offered me water and when i told her i didn’t eat anything this morning she offered to buy me snacks from the liquor store. She brought me back chips out of her own pocket which was really kind of her. She is also very informative she walked me though the whole process and help me understand whats better for my hair. I loved my experience there so check it out

I went to get a trim today, and when I first walked in I was acknowledged (I know it seems like something so small, but every other salon I’ve been to its taken 20 minutes before being acknowledged). While I waited Desiree asked me if I wanted wine or water. I waited maybe like ten minutes but it was because there was only one hair stylist and she was with a client. I didn’t mind, I was reading reviews. When it was my turn, Desiree, was great! She had suggestions and explained everything to me. She was very patient with me as well as I asked so many questions.
She was so nice, and because of the service she provided I want to go back. She is amazing, and she personalized my visit. Made me feel so welcomed and l can honestly tell she was willing to help me with my damaged hair.
I will definitely be going on two weeks to get a treatment from her. I definitely recommend Desiree as a stylist! You won’t regret it!

Im on my way to Barbies for extensions as I write… I wrote a review a month or two back and for some reason, it isnt showing up?
I rarely write reviews, but I took a minuteto spread the word about what a fabulous little shop this is. Patti and her staff are friendly, accommodating and very talented.
Patti did my hair extensions, not only did they look great, but they lasted a very long time and I’m excited to get them done again. can’t recommend this place enough. very reasonably priced and enjoyable experience

Yesterday afternoon I came in to get some help since my hair was a brassy yellow shade and they worked miracles on me it was the best salon experience I have ever had the girls are amazing and love what they do, the environment is perfect it made me feel like I was in a Barbie doll house I just loved it!

I absolutely love my hair! Desiree is amazing! She’s so sweet! She definitely made my first time dying my hair more exciting than scary.
The place is awesome! Stuck with the theme and it turned out great! Cute and fun! I love the model pictures on the walls! It definitely kept me amused during my 4hr session! The only thing I would recommend is message chairs because that’s a long time sitting in a chair! Lol
Ok so I had an appt at 6pm (what was I thinking) I suggest to make time earlier in the day because man, dying hair is a process.
Anyways, I guess you can say I had no idea what color I wanted. But My hairstylist, Desiree was like no worries! So we pretty much looked at books and online for an hour! Finally we were both comfortable and went forward. Not that I’m complaining, shes very friendly patient and obviously cares that her clients are happy!
I’ll be honest, I really didn’t know what my color was going to be in the end lol I think it was just me not being experienced when she was trying to tell me the plan. But I’m one who enjoying surprises and I actually wanted a dramatic change anyways.
So in the end I went from dark brown to strawberry blonde! It took about 4hrs and man, it was worth the wait! I’m so thankful for her sticking to it and not making me feel rushed! Because she stood 3 hrs overtime! She’s awesome! My hairs awesome! So happy with the results! I would definitely recommend this place!

I’ve tried many hair salons that haven’t met my expectations…
As soon as I walked in here I knew this was it! Justine and Desiree are total sweethearts. They made my aunt, cousin and myself feel important and made suggestions to what will look good. I have to say this first visit was for a trim only. But I feel confident enough to come back with Jasmine to go a bit shorter. I can’t wait!
I recommend this place to whoever is in the area. Most well grounded, down to earth spot to get your hair done. Love it!!!

Love this spot, I get my hair, nails, eyebrows threaded, lip waxed all in the same place! While enjoying some wine & the girls there are awesome & really tend to what you need. Hard to find a place this convenient with ppl who actually know what they’re doing!

Love, love, love this place! I’ve been looking for a new hairstylist and A friend of mine mentioned this adorable salon so I thought I’d try it out. The crew makes you feel very comfortable and welcomed. I Went in just for a haircut but I ended up getting the works… cut, color and blow dry. I also got my eyebrows waxed! I’ve mentioned it to my coworkers and now all the girls from Dr Suarez’s office also come here. Justine is the gal to ask for… she is awesome!

I have always been a blonde but I’ve always wanted to try purple. I was so scared but the girl that works there, she was amazing ! She was super helpful and super nice. She made sure I was comfortable. And I loveeeeeeeeee how my hair came out. Btw the studio is super cute ! Ask for Aubrey! She’s amazing
