Chris’s Burgers

If I can give this place negative stars, I would give them lots of it. I wanted to try their food since they’re open early, perfect after work. It was early morning, a little past 7am and this lady in the drive-​thru wants us to order right away. When she asked us about the drinks, she told us right away to «pull forward». I was surprised we haven’t told her about our drinks, so i thought maybe she’s going to ask us at the window. Then at the window, we waited for a long time just for 2 orders. And finally she opened her window, and gave the food. Yes, that’s it. will never ever come back to this place. Worst customer service ever!!!

I use to go here as a kid. I tried it after 15 years and eh. It’s pricy. Customer service lacks. Took a long time. The French toast, eggs and hash browns weren’t that good. It gets 2 stars instead of 1 because that bacon was delicious.

I’ve been coming here for years! Chris’s never fails me when I’m craving chili cheese fries! They have the cheesiest fries & their shakes are mouthwatering!!! I would highly recommend this place to anyone because it is by far the best mom and pop hamburger stand I know. They have indoor seating as well as outdoor and the staff are also pretty friendly.

Stopped by this place for breakfast. Definitely an old time diner feel to the place. Liked that it was clean and fast. Wifey and I both had the Bacon and Egg sandwiches. Really very good. Will return.

Really recommend this place. Breakfast, lunch and dinner is really good. I got a breakfast burrito and it was super delicious lol. Everything on the menu is good I go 3 times a week that how good it is

Ok I give this spot a 5 because my parents would take us there when we were kids! & living around the corner helped too. Chili cheese fries with onion for me please! The Burgers, pastrami, fried chicken, chili fries, burritos & breakfast are good! They have alot of options so go in hungry!

The food is consistent the burgers, salads, sandwiches, the carne asada quesadillas and cars asada chili cheese fries are out of this world.

Currently on the bus to downtown LA to work.
Earlier At about 6:40 am my wife and I were across the street from Chris’ picking up my dry cleaning when I saw the Open sign in their window. I told my wife hey maybe they changed for people who work earlier. We then saw a CHP truck pull up to the pickup window. I said great let’s go. We pulled up to the window about 6:45 a.m. And the girl in a nice voice said over the ordering speaker «sorry we’re not open until 7a.m.» so we drove past the CHP truck at the window and left. So we went to McDonalds a block away. We got our coffee and meal then left. As we drove by Chris’ at 6:53a.m. We noticed the front door open with about 3 – 4 people walking around the dining area. Preferential treatment? Not sure if they should toss the open sign or tease customers by telling some they’re closed but then open a little early.

Menus pretty good, much rather come here for the chili fries than Wiener schnitzel !

Love this place! Onion rings, bacon burgers, fries, steak sandwich, BUTT they stop serving breakfast at 1130. Totally sucks!!!

This place is so good love the chili burgers and fries. Always super packed a little pricy for a hamburger stand but definitely well worth it.

This is one of those places I try to stay away from, but I just can’t cut it out completely. I have literally ordered the SAME THING every time I go there for years to where they pretty much know who is ordering the food whenever I call it in. Big tip: if you are in a rush, CALL IT IN! It will save you so much time because quite frankly, they are always packed. The workers give great service, food tastes great, and it is inexpensive. Perhaps not the healthiest items to be eating, but if you want to sit in and eat some really good food, or take it to go, then stop here.

This place is a La Puente landmark ! Ive been coming here for years and i’m from whittier ! Great tasting burgers. . Delicious chili cheese fries ! Today i came in and i wanted to try something different. I ordered the steak sandwich combo. . All i can say is that ive been missing out for years !!! The meat is well cooked. . Soft & non chewy. . Not a lot of noticeable fat. . I def give this sandwich ¹⁰⁄₁₀. But what can i expect. . Its my favorite burger fast food location for a reason !

OMG, very good tasting burgers. Their bacon Cheese burger is very flavorful and tastes amazing.
if you like FRIED onion rings, FRIED mushrooms and FRIED zukinni sticks… they have this placed and will fill more that 2 people up, its all those three, FRIED TO PERFECTION all in one plate.

Who serves these nasty fish sticks to a paying customers? Nasty food. Even the onion rings had a refried texture.

Everything here is actually quite good. This place is the spot on this side of la puente and constantly has customer traffic. They are always moving and quick and they are quite generous with there fries and onion rings. Burgers and sandwhiches taste great and they gladly offer ranch with no extra cost. Service is okay but then again they move fast and trust me. You will not wait that long for your meal. You get it quick. I recommend this place i am sure you guys will enjoy it.

They have a variety of things you can order from Mexican food, breakfast, sandwiches, burgers, salads… there’s something for everyone!

I been coming here since high school and there specials are still yummy and reasonable. Our Fav are the chili cheese fries, onion rings, zucchini, and the breakfast specials, too. It’s been a while since we dined in because the place is really run down, to the point where furniture was falling apart. So, we always do, «drive-​thru».
Now, there is always a wait but it’s like that all the time– lol. I really hope they remodel. :-)

Chris’s Burgers. I don’t even know where to begin. This is definitely one of my go-​to places.
Their menu is filled with choices from classic bacon cheeseburgers, yummy breakfast plates, burritos, sandwiches, salads, chili, you name it! Every time I go, I always have to have their chili cheese fries. I’ve had my fair share of chili cheese fries from different places, and somehow none of them could compare to Chris’s chili, ah so goooood. My boyfriend loves getting their chili burger, and also their salad. Their steak sandwiches are also really yummy.
Every time I go, it’s a little busy, but that’s okay since I know the place is kind of a staple in the area. The max time I’ve waited for my food was probably about 20 minutes, and that’s during lunchtime on a sunday. Just be patient because the food is worth it, I promise.
Aside from the really good food, the price range is also superb! Their portions are huge for the price. Definitely a plus there!
The dining area is kind of small inside, but they have a lot of seats available outside. I noticed that they did some kind of renovation with the dining area and they changed the door! haha
Workers are friendly and they remember you if you come often enough. Will continue to keep coming back!

This place is everything a fast food joint should be. It’s fast, delicious, and satisfying. Although the exterior could use a new paint job, it is clear the moment you walk in that they’re doing something right.
I got a bacon cheese burger w/​avocado along side with complimentary banana peppers. Within minutes my burger was ready. First thing I noticed was how huge it actually was. Second was the thick and rather generous amount of bacon it had.
This burger was every bit as delicious as it looked, which explains why the place was so full. Although the place was nearly packed, this did not stop them from exerting good and fast customer service.
Safe to say this place was rad enough to make me come back next time I’m in town.
