Jenny is my friend! I’m not just saying that because I pop in a few times a year and she feeds me these INCREDIBLE subs. I’m calling her a friend because she is genuine and warm and knows how to personalize service! I used to go to T.J.‘s on Whittier Blvd. back in the late 70’s. It’s long gone but Jenny’s location is BETTER then I remember my old location being! I also recommend the location on Arrow Hwy. BOTH locations are great! Try the Jennies Special or the Philly Steak/Cheese. You’ll smile WHILE eating!

Our office was looking for local places that deliver and came across this place. We have ordered from this place probably 3 – 4 times since we found it. We will say that the sandwiches are on point. There fries are a little greasy. However, recently we tried to place an order. The past 3 – 4 times we have ordered, we were not charged for delivery if we spent over $ 20 not including tax. However, we tried to place an order and the lady was VERYRUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL! She started to get upset when we questioned the delivery fee, since we were not charged previously. The lady then proceeded to tell us that even if it’s over $ 20 there is still a fee and she can’t deliver right now because she’s busy so we would have to pick it up. We asked her to hold for a minute so we could figure out if one of us could pick it up even though we ordered for the DELIVERY. The lady then became very impatient and told us that she’s very busy and if we cannot pick it up to just cancel the order, SOWEDID! As much as we loved this places sandwiches, we do not tolerate RUDE customer service. We don’t care how busy you are, you don’t talk RUDE to customers and tell them to just cancel because she has other orders to do. HORRIBLE and will NEVER order from them again!!!

Great sandwich place and best of all they deliver to Kaiser Baldwin Pk Hospital with min. Order $ 25! For those of you that work there know how hard it is to leave for lunch. I hope you all try this terrific place for great food and friendly service! I met Jenny and Maria who were very nice. I also wanted to mention that they also have Fish and Chips and they give you a choice of Red Snapper or Cat Fish! Sounds delicious!

This place is actually pretty good I forget about it. ha but their sandwiches are darn good I love the ham and cheese sandwiches the tuna and the spicy salami sandwiches all are very good fresh ingredients it’s a small place but in my book it’s one of the best sandwich places you can go to beats subway by far. It’s actually right across the street from rock’n sushi so my recommendation is to come by and try it because it’s pretty good

This place is awesome they have the best subs around the area I will not mention the other famous processed subs around the corner but they are far better than any other sub restaurant! The steak sandwich is my favorite cheese is melted perfectly and bread is fluffy and not super toasted where you can even bite it anymore. Love the place and will keep coming back. Signed and approved, Anthony C. Vargas

Tried this place for the first time and I loved it. I admit I am very skeptical about tuna sandwiches but this place was on point. I would recommend visiting this place because of the Good food and the great prices.

I give it 3 stars because I’m a tough critic. These sandwiches are delicious. The bread is moist, fresh and the perfect balance of firm on the outside(not too firm) and fluffy on the inside. The pepperoncinis are perfect– sliced small and placed sparingly– just the right amount to add flavor but not be overpowering. Same with the red onion– perfect amount. I love tomato so I could always use more tomato personally. The deli meat is delicious but not the highest quality. My favorite sub is from Claro’s Italian Deli but my work orders a long sub for the office and they go fast! Definitely wayyy better than Subway.

From what my wife and her friends told me, their sandwiches are good, probably 3 to 3.5-star worthy. I was the dummy who got the chicken teriyaki special plate. More like teri-yucky, actually. The chicken they use is frozen. How do I know? I saw them taking it out of the freezer, complete with freezer burn. Of course the meat was bland and dry. This was teriyaki stir fried with a LOT of bean sprouts and some broccoli and onions. I really wish there were some carrots or green beans or something else, because bland meat and bland veggies just makes it BLECK. Ended up throwing most of it out. Lesson learned. Order the sandwiches next time.

So i been living in la Puente for 16 years… And I just discovered this joint. The subs are alright, I got the Philly cheese steak sub… but was more of a green pepper onion and SOME steak sandwich, it wasn’t great, my little boy got a meat ball sub… and that one was asking aiiiiight not great. Me and my wife loved the ONECUPPERCOUSTOMER and trust me the little Asian lady behind the counter made sure you didn’t share your drink… my lady is pregnant and diabetic so a whole drink to her self would be a waste(still shared a coke I’m a fucken outlaw!) Lol Now would I hit that joint up again? Maybe they have a large menu so something must be good… but bet your ass I’m taking it to go were I can drink all the soda I want !!!

I craved for Sub for lunch, so I Unilocaled and found this place. The front desk lady was very helpful so that’s a plus. I ordered the most popular sandwich, cold turkey cut with everything on it plus side of fries. The fries were loaded with Salt which I found it very odd. There were 2 thin sliced of red onion and tomato slice were small too, and with everything on it, it was very plain no taste. Either cause the fries was wayyyy too salty so the sandwich tasted like plain I don’t know! But I do like how the bread taste very firm unlike subway! Probably not going to come back again tho.

3.5 starz rounded UP cuz im a generous mahfu*ka like that… NEWYORKERSUB Salami, mortadella, provolone and ham. Good stuff, nothing special but well worth the price. Satiated my sandwich craving nonethleless. In a pinch? Mahfu*kas… I’ll be back.

Come here all the time for lunch during the workweek. Subway is much closer, but it’s ALWAYS worth the extra drive to go to TJ’s. As I’m typing this review, I’m getting ready to call in an order for 5 Avocado Super subs for my coworkers. The owner, Jenny, always greets me with a warm smile when I come in to pick up my usual. One of these days I’ll have to try the shrimp & catfish specials, but the subs are just too good!

I really wanted a sandwich so I looked for a place on Unilocal.I found this little gem. It was a little hard to find at first. They could really use a better sign out front. But the sandwhich made up for it. I love that they use fresh avocado and the bread is soft and fluffy. The size is great for the price and everyone was extremely nice. They have an extensive menu which I can’t wait to try. Make sure to bring cash because they have a $ 20 minimum.

I’ve lived so close to this place and just went here today! What an experience! We found the menu almost overwhelming because of the MANY choices. The best part of the menu is they have the subs divided into such convenient categories. I wanted avocado and there were so many varieties of sandwiches that included it all in a single column. Service was great. The owner was very nice. She was friendly and provided great service. When I asked for a receipt she gave it to me RIGHTAWAY. The people on this who were complaining about the service were wrong and most likely overexaggerating. The sandwich I got(turkey, avocado, swiss) was fresh and delicious. The bread was soft and filling. It was also made very quickly. I am definitely going to come back and try the Philly steak! SUPPORTYOURLOCALBUSINESSES!
