I went in for the first time today, found it to be affordable. Probably the cheapest haircut you can get in La Verne. I paid $ 20 for a wash, cut, and quick dry. My stylist was Maria, she was friendly and made me feel comfortable. I would recommend her.

I went here today with my daughter to get her cut into a pixie cut. After reading the Unilocal reviews and seeing the outside of the business, I thought we would give it a shot. Needless to say I took about 2 seconds. I asked 2 questions to the older lady that was there. I didn’t get an answer to either question. I asked «how much experience she had» and «if she thought she could do a pixie cut on my daughter.» I got a heavily accented Spanish speaking women that had no idea what I said to her. I’m sure she is a nice lady but if I don’t speak Spanish how is she going to understand what my daughter wants. There was only one person there at the time I went. One star for probably being a nice lady another star for being clean.

I called after seeing the reviews on Unilocal.I spoke to Maria, who took me in right away. At first, I was surprised by how small the salon was. It definitely was a little «hole-​in-​the-​wall-​off-​the-​beaten-​path» type of place. However, don’t let this humble exterior deter you like it almost did me. You see, I really needed a haircut and did not have much time to look for another place. So, I just went for it and hoped for the best. I gave her a picture of the look that I wanted and, lo behold, I got it. Maria was amazing. I can honestly say that I have found the place for me. Thank you, Unilocal

Came in per a FB post of theirs asking locals to «Shop Small Business Saturday». Hey they got me in. I called and they told me I could come right on down so I did. Small parking lot but there is parking on the street. Very clean establishment… extremely nice ladies on staff. I’m getting a color and cut. Wish me luck… this will be the second time I dye my hair ever ago im a little nervous. Will update reviewwhen I’m done.
