Went for lunch today with my parents and the server Nancy was really friendly and nice. The table next to us, were making a big deal about something that was out of her control but, she didn’t let them get to her and just let the manager handle it. Personally, I know how it feels working customer service and dealing with difficult people and maintaining a smile after dealing with them but she did. So, my respect to her and her patience.

My family and I went to IHOP this morning (4÷16÷16), and it was a wonderful experience! Although I expected a long wait, we were seated within a couple minutes of arrival even though it was mid-​morning. The waiter, Frank, was so awesome! I wish that waiters/​waitresses everywhere were as attentive, nice and efficient as Frank. Great job, Frank!!!
Our orders were taken promptly, our drinks were brought promptly, our food arrived in a timely fashion, and it all tasted fresh and flavorful!
Frank checked in with us regularly throughout our dining experience, and offered a smile each time.
Very pleased with our visit to the IHOP in La Verne!!!

This place has great service but the cooks cannot for the life of them figure out how to cook eggs. Scrambled eggs are always over done and the over medium eggs are always slimy as hell. I never send food back but I send back my eggs here 50% of the time. Besides that it’s great.

Wow best ihop experience ever thanks to the server Frank!!! He should definitely get employee of the month for his attentiveness and great customer service!!! Had an issue with my food but frank sure enough solved it. Definitely coming back just for Frank! :D

I am just a bit upset with this iHop. One star only because I have to leave something to be able to leave a review. Tonight my husband went in to this establishment after a 14+ Hr day to have a bite to eat before heading home. He walked in to the restaurant barely ½ full and said he was a single diner. The hostess then told him it would be a very long wait and he might want to go elsewhere because they were about to get busy. Rude– plain and simple.

I went to IHop at 1:20 AM and they close at 2:00 AM. The worker (not saying the name) told my friends and I that they were closed… That they ONLY do To-​go orders for the rest of the night… They said «nobody is here so we closed early» like NO that is unacceptable… The food is usually crap and the drinks taste like cleaner. The service is very poor… This restraunt dosnt ever deserve one star! It deserves 0 stars! I will never forget this. January 24 2016 I DO NOT recommend going here

Michelle was extremely friendly and attentive. She wasn’t overbearing at all, but it felt like whenever we needed her she was there. One of the best experiences I had at iHOP was today because of her. I like it when servers are competent and thorough, and she was both of those things.

The food is good. Generally the experience has potential to be good. The problem I wish to address might be attributed to lack of vision by the staff, and maybe it’s a managerial deficiency. Scene… a busy Saturday where customers are asked if they would not mind sitting outside in the patio. Hey, sure! Whatever gets the experience underway. Problem… upon getting to the table, it’s covered with dirt and dust as are the chairs. There are no utensils, no syrup, no cream or sugar… nothing. The ceiling heaters that provide a level of comfort are still off. It takes a bit of effort, but the staff finally pulls it together and despite having already served the food, manage to get the required items out on the table. I sat there astonished. Ihop is a $$ restaurant… get it together people.

For the BEST Steak & Egg breakfast along with AWESOME pancakes this is the place to be!!! Special shoutout to our server Nancy for her exceptional attention to details for my elderly parents. She literally read our minds & had cream, sauces & extra napkins at our table before we even had to ask. She & her Staff made us feel like we were dining with family. First time eating here on a early Saturday afternoon. Of course there was a wait but only had to wait 15 minutes. Our server was Frank whom is a very friendly and attentive person. Breakfast came up quick BUT our food was cold? First time this has happened. Otherwise I’d give it higher stars. Didn’t send food back due to how crowded it was. Will continue to come back.

They have good food. I DO NOT like getting drinks there. I dont know if its the cleaner they use, but my drinks always have a horrible almost alcohol taste and burn. I couldn’t even drink more the two sips. This has happened more than once and it is digusting and unacceptable to taste their cleaner im assuming.

Called and the female that answered said «no wait», so naturally we went (being a few miles away). There was a 20 minute wait. Hostess was the only one taking names, cashier, clearing tables, and seating guests… way to much for one person to do during Saturday morning rush!!!

Both woman and men’s restrooms were «temporary out of service»…WTF DURING SATURDAY MORING RUSH!!! I blame management for my horrible beginning and ending experience. Thank you Erika and kitchen staff for good breakfast. I’ll stick to my normal iHop location.

According to Google This location shows as closed today. What they failed to mention is that BOTH the restrooms are closed due to plumbing problems. My son had to walk to a local starbucks to use their restrooms. Tables were filthy dirty. Service wasn’t great either. For La Verne being such a beautiful city this place is HORRIBLE!

I went here for a family breakfast, the waitress sucked. She tried to BS around and really was not paying attention. I am VERY picky at restaurants and I was on her. I literally had to repeat every order twice, she never brought back drinks, repeated every order wrong, purposely brought dirty glasses.
Then she was late bringing back the food. and guess what she «forgot mine» i then waited another 10 minutes. I even said watch it’ll have hair in it, well it did. Absolutely DISGUSTING. What didn’t like me telling you to do your job? Be a competent waitress. I refused my family to leave a tip and all they did was take my food off. What a joke.
We will never return.

I will be honest, I am not HUGE IHOP fan, I prefer the non chain places for breakfast, but those ads with the summer specials had me! I came in for the lemon blueberry pancakes. At first I was disappointed that it was ONLY 2 pancakes, but it was actually just enough. I didn’t get the combo. The blueberries were FRESH, not that yucky compote! the lemon cream was zesty and tangy. It was a perfect match… next time I want to try the banana Nilla cakes, but i will probably be safe and go back to the lemony goodness. The service was excellent, and the restroom immaculate.

Probably the only iHop I go to that doesn’t get too crowded. Restaurant is clean and not outdated. Service is fast. Pancakes are always bomb Never had problems with my To-​Go orders as well.
