History

Established in 1972.

Custom Security Systems was first known as Custom House, Inc. and was a Sell, Furnish, and Install contractor for Sears Burglar Alarm Systems. Through the years Custom Security Systems diversified into commercial security systems and is now a part of the Alarm Center, Inc. family and specializes in all types of security for your home or business.

BJ Swidecki has been with Custom Security Systems for 37+ years, beginning as an alarm installer, field supervisor, purchasing agent, and now general manager for the Custom Security Family of companies which include: Alarm Center Inc., ACE Fire & Security Systems, and Custom Security Security.

BJ’s experience helps bring long term continuity to a growing industry company that was originated in Lacey in 1972 by Bob and Yvonne Helstrom.
