I’m extremely upset, I went to this Home Depot for Wainscoting, and I found it. I checked out and asked the cashier for help loading my product into my truck. when she began to panic and say she didn’t know how to use the intercom and she «didn’t want to call on it». She then said she’d get help 15 minutes later I decided to ask for help from an associate that was standing around. He was helping another woman and was unavailable. After another 5 – 6 minutes I decided maybe I could get help outside. I went to my truck and didn’t see any associate at first so I loaded a piece (not easily loaded since it’s so wobbly and I was alone), I saw three associates just watching me and when I asked for help they jumped up and scattered like cock roaches pretending not to hear me. I had to load my entire order of wainscoting all 15 sheets ALONE, because some teeny-​bopper was «too scared» and untrained in her job to get me help. I was loading my truck ALONE because three associates were too busy sitting on their butts pretending to look busy to give me assistance.
I was a Home Depot Credit card holder for over 10 years! I had always gone to Home Depot first to get what I needed. NO LONGER! I have since closed my accounts and will be going to Lowe’s from now on. I was so mad, I cried. No one should have to deal with that type of treatment. Especially people who are asking for help! That’s what they are paid to do, I guess not everyone read the memo…

I just went in to check out their nursery but there wasn’t much to look at. Then again it is October. I’ll be back in spring and hopefully it’ll look much better!

So upset with the service and product I received at this Home Depot. I went in to buy wood for a table I am refinishing. I had the measurements and type of wood I wanted, all I needed was for them to cut it for me. He grabbed the wood and cut all 8 pieces at the same time, leaving the first piece closest to the blade all splintered. Every piece of wood had some sort of a colorful marking on it and when I asked if that could be sanded off or covered with stain, he responded with «yeah that comes right off.» After bringing the wood home and starting the sanding process, I noticed that the markings were not going away. So I started to stain the wood to see if that would cover it up, that did not work either. Upset with my service and product, I called the wood department to see if I could come in and get one new piece of wood since seven of the eight pieces had markings only on one side. When the man answered the phone, he said nothing. No hello or how may I help you, just a silent line with nothing to be heard but customers in the background. So I said hello? And got a very rude «can I help you?!» back. After explaining my situation as nice as I possibly could have, he told me that they do not return any wood, even if what I had bought wasn’t what I was expecting or promised. He told me only the manager could sign off on wood returns and even if I spoke to the manager I would probably get denied a new piece of wood. I was also told they do not guarantee the quality of the wood sold. Glad to know Home Depot does not stand behind the product they are selling. Needless to say, I will be shopping at Lowes from now on.

I wanted a storm door so I went to Home Depot and bought one. Had to wait two weeks for the door to come in. When the door came in I was notified that they did not have any installers which I already paid to have the door installed. So know I wait until they find someone to install. I’m am sure there are many people on the list so it might be fall until I get my door installed. Thank Home Depot for you fast service. Oh I have had some good experiences at Home Depot but I only remember this current one.

Always enjoy this store. Staff helpful when you can find one. Garden staff always nice and friendly. Typically greeted by passing staff and ask if I need help. Frequent shopper so usually know where I am going. Find some lumber staff rude and so helpful. On your own there. Paint staff very knowledgeable in that area. Home décor really nice and helpful.

Matt in the appliance department is amazing. My husband and I bought a new washer and dryer and got free delivery. When the guys got to our house the appliances wouldn’t fit in our laundry room with the tubing they had. After we went to the Lacey store after refusing delivery, Matt helped us come up with a solution. He had the drivers bring our washer and dryer to the store and Matt helped load them in our pick up. With out the help of Matt and the wonderful delivery drivers we would have had to purchase a smaller cheaper washer and dry, which we didn’t want. He and their staff went above and beyond to find a solution and we are very happy with our new LG set.

here everyday for my business. gotten to know employees over the years and have great cusomer service. welcomed everytime. and employees are always ready to help and friendly. best home depot around.

This home depot has always had what I was looking for or needed for some home improvement. They even have been very helpful for any special orders I have had to make on certain items. Love spending my time here. Always come to them first for anything I might need.

Amanda in the kitchen/​cabinet area was amazing. Very helpful to get us started with our kitchen remodel. She has a lot of knowledge and is a great resource if you are thinking about a kitchen remodel in the near future. We will be back for sure!

Oh Home Depot. I have mixed feelings about this place. One friend of mine calls them Home Despot. I try to do home improvement things myself so I go there quite a bit. For little projects, this place is great. I usually never ask for or listen to advice from staff though. That is a big no-​no in my book. I search YouTube videos or talk to friends. As far as ordering custom things to install yourself, be warned. Once you order and pay for a custom item it yours, game over. They dont give a shit. The custom blinds I ordered are nice and expensive and easy to install. But they are not a perfect fit even with the exact measurements I gave them. I also replaced all of the doors in my house using a special promotion they were offering. It was a big project but nothing I couldn’t handle. The order took longer to arrive than estimated and the doors were production line garbage. One was even damaged severely en route. So some handyman in the store rigged it back together, knocked $ 50 off and said I could take it or wait another eon for one to arrive. Never again will I do a custom order through them. But if it’s time to replace a toilet or paint the house, hell yeah I’m in there filling my Homer bucket.

They have lots of people to help you find what you’re looking for but I have not always good good advise on projects. I think they hire average weekend backyard contractors so do expect to get any advise you can count on so everyone… They have a good inventory of most things you will need for home improvements and they have a great garden center in the spring and summer. They give a 10% discount to Vets and active military but I was told once they don’t extend that to lumber sales so I go to Lowe’s for my limber purchases. They have a better selection of name brand power tools than Lowe’s in my opinion also.

Excellent help and assistance from the friendly gentleman who guided me to the products in this huge warehouse. Top notch.

Love this Home Depot! Best customer service I have ever experienced at a retailer hands down. My husband sends me often to pick things up and a lot of times I have to get help because I want to make sure I am getting the right thing (we live an hour away) and have also had them cut things down for me. I had one man that works there help me with an entire project and took me all over the store getting the right things all while having my crabby kiddos with me. The cashier on that day was awesome as well. She helped keep my kiddos calm while I was digging for my wallet. I was in tears because my children are both autistic and had just had an awful day. I had gone to Home Depot’s competitor in blue and they couldn’t answer simple questions. So I left and went to Home Depot. This is the only home improvement store we will shop at now all because of employees turning my bad day into a good day! Te cashier still remembers us.

I moved here from the Phoenix area a little over a year ago, and Home Depot was and is the place to go for all of your project needs. In Phoenix, if you needed expert advice, you usually went to Ace Hardware, where they seemed to have experts in stores on every form of project. Home Depot was was the place to go, when you knew exactly what you needed. Their associates were friendly, but not always knowledgeable about the small details. That is certainly not the case with the one here in Lacey. The staff here is extremely knowledgeable and the most friendly group of people that you could ever imagine. Test it yourself– ask any associate where something is, and they’ll not only direct you (or show you) to the correct isle, but tell you what shelf its on and how far up/​down the isle it is. Its like having a human directory available at all times. Its Awesome!!! I’d highly recommend this Home Depot to anyone. Keep up the great job you all do there– we do notice.

This is the place I usually head when I have a home improvement project. In fact, the typical project usually means about 8 trips to Home Depot :) The employees at this Home Depot are usually very helpful, although there are a few that have not been and sometimes it can be difficult to find someone to answer a question. More often than not the staff are available and helpful. Selection is good and prices are competitive. They have a great return policy, which helps me cut 8 trips down to more like 6. I can buy more than I think I’ll need and just return what I ended up not needing.

That you can find everything you might need regarding tools, paint, hardware in general is commonly known…
But don’t expect the staff to welcome you with open arms.
They not the fastest either!

Big selection of home improvement stuff it was very clean inside and quiet which was a little scary at first. I guess I am use to everything being packed and loud. The workers were nice and helpful and since it was not crowded check out was a snap.

What’s a sure sign that the real estate market is still suffering? When you go to Home Depot and three service associates ask you if you want help, and there are no lines at the checkout counter. I was here for a return, and three years ago that would have been a half an hour ordeal. Today I was in and out in less than five minutes.
One pet peeve — I had an existing gift card from home depot from a previous return and I got additional store credit with my new return. Home Depot’s system required me to get a new gift card to store the credit on. Why can’t they figure out how to load a gift card with additional credit? Update your register system for more eco friendly returns.
