Mediocre job — stains left on some of the SS, if you have cast iron grates they do not clean them if rusty at all only brush them, spray toxic cleaner that is no longer produced then hose off without completely drying in the crevices and the runoff just left to sit in the garden. LIKE NEW wasn’t even close.

Gave them a 2^nd chance after a scheduling snafu last year. They did not disappoint. Showed up on time, did an amazing job cleaning the grill and didn’t make a mess on my pavers. In and out, reasonable price.

So I was concerned about some of the bad reviews here, but gave them a try anyway, since a few said their service has improved. My experience with the office (Keli) was excellent, she really tries to keep you well informed on what’s going on. They did not show for our first appointment, and I really don’t know what was going on with the person coming out to do the work. Anyway, no sweat, because Keli made it right (it really seemed like they were trying to do the right thing and make me happy). They rescheduled immediately and knocked some cash off my bill for the inconvenience. Excellent customer service… and when they did come out, the cleaning and repair job was excellent! Would recommend. My before/​after pics could have been better… the repairs and inside look great too!

I was very impressed. They were on time and very honest. They did a wonderful job in diagnosing my problem with was a bad gas regulator and made my BBQ look like new! I highly recommend them — they even came on the Saturday if Memorial Day weekend.

Juan did a great job on my Jenn-​Air grill! The grill was super dirty as you can see the before until Juan finished the work it looks brand new now! Highly recommend them

I have a Turbo grill that’s about 15 years and hasn’t been thoroughly cleaned in 10 years. I called BBQ Renew and Juan did a great job. He took the grill apart and cleaned everything. I would not hesitate to recommend BBQ Renew.

Best Service Ever! I called for a quote, Mike came out the same day and replaced by BBQ the next day. This was unbelievable service! Keli in the office was also amazing. She got back to me immediately with my appointment time and coordinated everything while I was away. They were both so polite and efficient. Oh and the BBQ is AMAZING! Would recommend to anyone! I was so impressed with this company, they came out yesterday and repaired/​cleaned our bbq, it looks brand new again. Far exceeded our expectations. Thanks Juan, great work! We’ll be barbecuing this weekend.

They came out quickly on short notice, which I appreciated. They performed a decent job of cleaning the obvious areas of the grill visible upon initial inspection. Later I discovered the areas they missed. The parts they installed were a bit overpriced as compared to what you can get at the store. I should have purchased the parts myself but the guy that came out to quote the job told me they installed «much higher quality» parts at lower prices — this was not the case. They left the area surrounding the grill clean and left no signs of debris. I paid $ 547.00 to have my 4-​burner built-​in grill cleaned, one valve replaced, burner openings drilled out and heat plates replaced. Total job took no more than 2hrs. $ 240 for labor and $ 307 for parts. Cleaning & repair job was ⁴⁄₅ stars. Price ³⁄₅ stars. I would have given ⁴⁄₅ on price except for the fact they sold me on the job taking 2 – 3 hrs and then spending only about 1 ¾ — 2 hrs.

We have an 11 year old Lynx grill that we inherited with our home 3 years ago. We weren’t sure if it had ever been cleaned or serviced, but we suspected it had never been cleaned. This year, the light broke and one of the burners stopped working, so we decided to call BBQ Renew.
Mike, the owner, was very responsive and came out to assess the situation. He was very professional and thorough, gave us a written estimate which we felt was fair, and we lined up the work. Surprisingly they had an opening the very next day which we took.
The two representatives of the company came out slightly ahead of their scheduled time (hey, better early than late!), and went right to work. They spent three full hours doing a full restoration cleaning, replaced the burners and light, cleaned and lubricated the valves, and replaced the ceramic briquettes. They tested it all out with me there. It looks virtually brand new. Simply an excellent job!
I have no idea what the negative comments about BBQ Renew are about below, but in my experience, these guys were simply outstanding. I can’t recommend them more highly. Far better than replacing an entire Lynx grill in cost and very responsive and thorough.
Now, time to grill some Carne Asada, Brats or Burgers…

We are very happy with our BBQ Cleaning and Repair. We just bought a new house and the existing built in BBQ was very dirty and not working very well. Mike came over, did a great job of assessing what repairs were needed (replace 4 burners) and the recommended cleaning. The BBQ now looks wonderful and everything works like it should. The price was in line with the competitors, but the customer service was top notch and made the difference. Mike and his crew were quick to respond and ensured the cleaning and service met our expectations.

I should have left this review a month ago, but was busy. We just used our grill at our new office today for a company outing and MANY people at the party commented on our grill. We recently leased a new retail store location and there is a outdoor patio behind the store. It includes a neat BBQ island, but when we moved in it was non-​functioning and downright gross. It looked like some ancient Aztec ruin or something. We asked the landlord about splitting the cost of getting it refurbished and he said that it was beyond repair and that he would pay to have it removed and that area cleaned. Knowing the potential of the grill area for company parties and even just cooking lunch out back, we asked him to leave it on the condition that we pay to fix it. We were thinking a $ 1,000 or more, because it was B-​A-​D. He said okay.
One of our guys offered to find the right company and he sure did. BBQ Renew (love the name) came out and had it looking like new in 5 or 6 hours. I had never even heard of a BBQ grill technician until last month! The guy who did the work was Jay, and he was very professional and obviously a «grill guru.» He had to replace a few parts and had to improvise a bit, but when he left we fired up the grill and it worked amazingly well. By the way, our guy interviewed/​investigated a few of these grill companies and he was adamant about BBQ Renew. He said that their customer service was top notch in the early stages, and everything happened as promised.
Fast forward to the company party and this review. We had many compliments at our first full-​blown BBQ party. We spent a little over $ 600 (not sure of the exact amount) but it was well worth it. Plus we saved a lot material from the landfill.
SUMMARY: Great service, excellent workmanship, and fantastic value. I would highly recommend this company to anyone I know. A+

I did quite a bit of research before I chose BBQ Renew to clean and repair our built-​in BBQ. I liked that Kelli was always professional and readily available by phone. I also appreciated that Mike (the owner) came out to give us an estimate for free. He thoroughly went through our BBQ and recommended some repairs (burner replacement, ignition replacement) which we agreed to do. There was no pressure, no upsell, just straight recommendations.
A couple of days later, Jay came out to clean and repair our BBQ unit. The whole process took about three hours, and it was like 90 degrees that day. He worked hard, and I was very pleased with the results.
Since then, we’ve had several gatherings where my husband used the BBQ, and it works and looks like new!

Very pleased with the entire process, including the final result. Kelli (office manager and owner’s wife) returned my initial call promptly, within two hours (another company called me back two DAYS later). She was extremely pleasant to work with and did her best to accommodate my time frame. Michael, her husband and owner of the company, arrived on time a few days later to give me estimate. He was also trustworthy and very pleasant to work with. A few days later, as promised, Kelli called me to schedule time/​date for technician to come out to clean and tune-​up my gas BBQ. Jay, the technician, arrived on time (actually a bit early), and when he finished we reviewed what he did to ensure it was to my satisfaction.
Everyone involved was very courteous and professional. I highly recommend BBQ Renew.

This is a harsh review and not for the reason you would think. Our BBQ does look much better after the work that was performed. My problem is that after being told the parameters of the Restoration Cleaning we decided to go with this level of cleaning. It was described as approximately 4 hours of work, including the additional parts we purchased to be installed (burner tubes for our 36″ Viking). So we scheduled the work which went off smoothly, the tech showed up on time and did his work… but left after two hours… basically I didn’t need to pay the «up charge» or the BBQ could have been even cleaner if the tech had stayed the four hours as estimated. The tech did tell the owner that he was there for four hours (when I questioned the time spent at our residence)…but I have three independent validations that he was there for two hours… so at the end of the day is our BBQ cleaner? Yep… but does the tech used have a great sense of integrity? Nope…

Great customer service!!! They do excellent work and are very fast! Would recommend to anyone who needs BBQ work done.

I have used this company for years, I would not even consider going any place other this for the service that I have received for years, Mike is and all employers are very, very good. The service is 5 star and his employers are all, repeat all 5 star.
If you want it done right the first time and a fair price and quick service please give this company a try, I have never been pleased with any service then what I have received from this them.

BBQ Renew scheduled my BBQ cleaning in a timely manner. The day of our scheduled appointment, our technician, Juan, arrived early. He proceeded to check all our lines and clean our dirty grill until it shined. He was courteous and cleaned up after the job was done. He even gave us grilling advice! I highly recommend this company to clean your BBQ.

We inherited a high end 48″ Wolf barbecue in absolutely disgusting condition. It was not in working condition and we wouldn’t dream of eating anything cooked on it, even if it was. I’m talking really bad! I set an appointment with Mike to take a look. He was right on time and after inspecting our BBQ, told me it might be time for a new grill. He reviewed the issues and gave me a price quote with parts. We opted to keep the grill and have the repairs done.
The work was done by a very nice technician, who dismantled, cleaned and repaired that grill up beyond belief. We had a last minute issue, with additional broken parts. Mike came out right away with those parts. So, the cost ended up being a couple of hundred dollars more than expected, due to those additional non functioning components. Even with that, it was well worth the money. The repairs for the barbecue were a small fraction of what it would cost to purchase that same grill. We are very pleased with the results! The grill is now pristine and looking beautiful. We barbecued on it for the first time ever and it was amazing!

Just spent $ 675 cash to repair and clean two BBQ’s. When I went to use them, one of them didn’t work and the other was missing screws and parts where loose. What a terrible job and zero follow up as I have left numerous messages… failed to show up for three appointments and are not returning my calls at all… I even had to loan them some of my tools… I WOULD THINK TWICE ABOUT USING THIS COMPANY!
