I have seen Dr. Fogelson for a skin check as well as 2 facial laser resurfacing treatments. This office is very nice, parking is easy and the front desk has been very helpful with scheduling. Dr. Fogelson is kind and thorough. She took the time to listen to my concerns and answer my questions. and freeze some off my «barnacles». Just 2 sessions of the laser resurfacing and my 40 year old skin is noticeably more clear and smooth. I am excited to see the results after a few more sessions. The assistants have also been very sweet.

I have seen Dr. Catherine Lee several times and while I don’t enjoy the «freezing» of my skin I do appreciate that she catches all my «spots.» She is an incredible doc and cannot find anything bad to say about her.
She is a GREAT dermatologist

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Lener for several years. She is thorough and always answers any questions. She has properly diagnosed various conditions and her care is always outstanding. She has also seen my children. I have also seen Dr. Lee. She is kind, accurate, and very professional. This is an outstanding Dermatology practice.

Great staff and physicians who are caring and have great bedside manner. I would recommend anyone with skin conditions to Dermatology Center at Ladera.
I have been going to this office for over 4 years.

I’ve been going to Ladera Derm (referred by a friend) for a couple of years for regular skin checks. Early in the year I had a skin emergency with a pretty nasty rash on my face. Dr. Mundi and Dr. Lennar have been excellent and provided great service when I was having issues and even after everything went away. Dr. Mundi has gone over and above more than once, talking to my other doctors, staying late so I could get there after work and keeping me informed along the way. I have referred many others to this practice. The staff is friendly and efficient — combine that with excellent doctors and I have no reason to go anywhere else.

Our family has had to visit the office twice, and twice we had bad experiences. Shame on me for giving them a second chance. My complaint is not with the caregivers, infact I had a great experience with Dr. Mundi, but we had scheduling and billing issues with each visit. Getting these issues resolved was difficult and the office manager, Gary, was very condescending in the process. The issues are resolved, but I would not recommend this office to anyone.

I took my grandson in for his second appointment with Dr. Catherine Lee, dermatologist. He had 3 warts on his hands to remove… pretty simple, right? Wrong…
I’ve worked in healthcare for over 35 years and am very appreciative of good, quality medical care. My first impression was that the assistant appeared to be more competent than the doctor. Dr. Lee was very meek, and since this was the SECOND visit with no positive results from the first visit when she froze the warts, I was hoping she would see that she needed to be more aggressive. She tried again (without even providing any numbing at all, even though I asked!!!). She froze the area again, ver painful with NO numbing, and now 3 weeks later, the wart has morphed into something extremely large! I will NOT take him back to Dr. Lee! I took my grandson to a different dermatologist in Mission Viejo (Dr. R.) who is excellent. He looked at my grandson’s hand and shook his head, stating that because the original dermatologist (Dr. Lee) wasn’t aggressive the first time, the virus spread, resulting in the wart morphing into an even larger area.
Bottom line, two thumbs down! I do NOT recommend Dr. Catherine Lee. Go to a different dermatologist when it comes to removing warts.
PS: I’m giving 1 Star because the office staff was OK.

Recommended! Our experiences (my husband, young son and myself) have been excellent. We’ve gone in many times over the last few years for various reasons, including routine check-​ups, surgeries, and follow-​up visits. They provide the utmost care and kindness.

The front-​office staff is efficient and nice. The doctors I have seen have been really thorough and professional.
I had an appointment for my annual skin check in December 2014 and got in and was being seen by the doctor within 5 minutes of arriving.
Highly recommend them.

While my Dr. was fine, there were issues. My treatment was delayed a bit for skin cancer due to they didn’t get my phone number correct on some of their paper work. After several weeks of calling a wrong number they… they called the «correct» one. They could have email asap as well ! Oh, Brother! I After the cancer was removed I made a 6 month f/​u appointment. I changed that the next day because it was on Labor Day. Now I find out that the new appointment was never put on «their» scheduling books. Oh Brother… Not to sure this is going to work out in the future…

My family has been going here for years, but we usually see Dr. Lener, who has always been great! I had some skin concerns though and decided to make an appointment with the first available doctor. The doctor I saw was Fogelson. She was nice, but I don’t think she took me seriously… maybe because I’m in my early twenties, so she probably thought I was some spoiled OC kid. I tried to address some concerns I had, since my family does have a history of skin cancer. While Fogelson was doing my check-​up, I never even had a chance to talk to her about my concerns because I felt she just wanted to do the skin check and leave. I waited 15 minutes past my scheduled time and was only inside the room for literally 10 minutes. Now I feel like I need to go to a different dermatologist this week, just so I can get my concerns acknowledged. The only positive thing I can say, is the staff and assistants were very kind and helpful.

Find another dermatologist!
I’ve been a patient at this facility for 2 years or so. On the occasion of virtually every appointment, I waited somewhere between 30 minutes and 1 hour after my scheduled appointment time before seeing Dr Khoury.
That nothwithstanding, I received A1 service and attention from Dr. Khoury; however, I learned today that she has moved to Sweden and is no longer practicing in Ladera Ranch. I attempted to make a routine appointment with a Dr. Lee (successfully); however, was told I had to make an advance deposit for V-​beam treatments of $ 100 prior to booking. I’ve had numerous V-​Beam treatments with this office over the past couple of years and have NEVER been asked to prepay. When I balked at the prepayment (a real affront to my character and credit), the manager called me back to insist — despite my excellent pay record and relationship with the office.
I cancelled the appointment and am moving on!
I have at all times found the front office staff there to be rude, curt and aloof. This was the icing on the cake!

I came on time for my appointment, checked in, and waited and waited. 45 minutes later, I was seated in a room where the doctor, Fogelson, came in and after asking what my issue was, started to read off medical terms to her assistant standing behind me. Jotted prescriptions I was to buy and left. Everything was so rushed. I felt like customer number 31 instead of a person. She sort of talked over me and didn’t give me time to discuss my concerns. The visit was 10 minutes. The entire experience doesn’t give me much confidence in the doctor or the diagnosis. One star for the nice front desk staff and one star for the sweet assistant that came in later to give me my prescription. By the way, the script was $ 300 for a steroid cream. They should have considered an alternate brand just in case people don’t want to spend $$$$.

Dr Khoury treated my 7 year old daughter’s scar on her chin with the laser. She was amazing! She even did the laser on her own arm to show my daughter that it was ok. After one day, the scar has faded considerably. I’ve also had treatment with Dr Khoury & find her to be extremely knowledgable & caring. She always makes sure that all my questions are answered before she leaves the exam room. I never feel rushed. This would be 5 stars, but it’s a very busy office & on occasion the wait has been long. It’s always been worth it in the end, though.

I use to go to a dermatology center in Newport Beach where Dr. Amy Litchfield was on staff. A few years ago I call up Newport to make an appointment with her and when I get there I am taken into the room and some other doctor comes in and I question where Amy is and I am told she left about a year ago. Ummm… should have told me that when I made the appointment. So, I go along with my annual skin check with the new doctor and omg… what a nightmare. At this point I am very frustrated and start a search for Dr. Litchfield and I find her at Ladera. Thank god for the internet.
She totally kicks ass as a doctor, i.e., she treats you like a person. She is not one of those doctors that is arrogant and pompous. Thumbs up to Dr. Litchfield and the Ladera group. The office runs very smooth. Everything is automated. One drawback is that is is hard to get an appointment on the fly.
