Evolution Swim Academy specializes in partnering with HOA’s and specialty gyms to bring its learn-to-swim curriculum to more families in the South Orange County area.
We specialize in Parent & Me lessons, Swim lessons and introductory swim team and water polo programs. We also offer water acclimation programs for our students that need a little extra 1:1 care.

History
Established in 2006.
In 2006, 2x Olympian Felipe Delgado started Evolution Swim Academy out of a local community pool. Initially, teaching lessons was a way to keep one foot in the sport that had been such a big part of his life. With every lesson he taught, the love for being a swim lesson instructor grew.
Today, Evolution Swim Academy operates out of its own, indoor location in Mission Viejo. It also operates out of 4 parter locations in Aliso Viejo, Ladera Ranch, Laguna Hills and Rancho Mission Viejo.

Meet the Business Owner
Felipe D.
Business Owner
Felipe is a 2-time Olympian and Masters World Champion. He is a US National champion and US Open bronze medalist. He attended Arizona State University on a scholarship, made the Dean’s List and earned Scholar-Athlete recognition. Felipe is a 15-time All-American and earned a Pac-10 Championship title as well as multiple bronze medals at the NCAA Division I championships.
Felipe has dedicated the last decade of his life to creating one of the most comprehensive learn-to-swim programs in the United States. He has drawn from his experiences as an elite swimmer to create learning levels that will challenge and reward its participating students. Evolution Swim Academy’s main focus is to «create safer swimmers» and to enable students to participate in a life full of aquatic activities.
Felipe is married to Megan and together they have four children, all of which have participated in Evolution Swim Academy lessons.
