Raphael Rettner D.C. has been in practice in the Bay area for 34 years, specializing in weight loss, chiropractic care and functional medicine. In 2013 Dr. Raphael and his wife Colette moved to Lafayette to fulfill his dream of opening a weight loss and wellness clinic here. The purpose is to help patients feel better and look better through a healthy eating, chiropractic and weight loss program.

Dr. Raphael Rettner is a Palmer College of Chiropractic West graduate, in practice since 1982. Dr. Raphael is a highly skilled, deeply caring and compassionate doctor. He is the author of over 30 e-​books and DVDs and has taught seminars to chiropractors across the United States, Australia, Canada and England.

I came to see Dr. Rettner back in January after a car accident that I was in. I had severe whip lash and major back and neck pain. Dr. Rettner was able to seek out my pain and find a remedy for healing.
In just two short months of treatment, I was already feeling back up to speed! Dr. Rettner went above and beyond to make sure he provided me with the best care in my situation. Not only did he treat me twice a week, but he also checked in on me on days that I did not come in. He made it a point to send me home with some at home stretches and provided the necessary equipment to do so.
My expereice with Dr. Rettner has been amazing and I would highly recommend him to anyone else in pain from daily life activities or unfortunate experiences like mine.

So I guess I will be the bad one here but its funny how some of these reviews are. I came to Dr. Rettner office to try the Advanced Weight Loss that was offer in the Groupon. I will admit yes his office was clean and smoothing/​relaxing. However, he did an assessment about my health and what would be wrong with me. I just thought it was a joke when he told me to push his arm away with my leg or arm and one side he would push in but on the other side he wouldn’t. I called him out on it at the spot and he will just say do you want me to assess you or not. I will respond yes but in a honest way not fake. The reason why I am saying this because on the section that I know for a fact that I am injured he will say that I had this strength jajaja but where I am not injured he would say it was weak and needs help… jajaja Now when you use his four lipo-​light pro sessions just be prepared to do it on your own and once you are done you will need to whip them down and clean after yourself and this means any machines that you have used. Most places will ask you to leave it there and their staff will clean it up for the next person. So keep in mind if the other person really does not clean the Lipo-​light you might be using a dirty lipo-​light with someone else’s sweat on it. I did not finished up my sessions because the last session I went to just made me sick to my stomach and I was so disgusted that I walked out and nobody noticed because there was nobody there to help me get started and the doctor was inside with another victim.

Wow! I came with my aunt for her consultation with Dr. Rettner and ended up staying for myself. His knowledge and range of expertise has been helping me with some health issues I have suffered with for years. I almost cannot believe how much better I feel, look and sleep. I highly recommend Dr. Rettner for weightloss, health, chiropractic or any other wellness issue. He truely has a gift! His office is clean, nice and welcoming. The location is easy and convienient. His prices are very reasonable. Seriously, if he can help me, he can help you!

I recently saw Dr. Raphael Rettner at his clinic in Lafayette. The office was lovely and provided a calming, comfortable environment for healing work. I asked for help regarding anxiety about a particular class in my graduate program. Dr. Rettner used a combination of muscle testing, energy work, physical adjustments, Bach flower remedies, and spiritual readings to both discern what was going on with me, and to shift the problem. Immediately I felt more peaceful inside, and when I attended my class for the first time, all went much more smoothly than I’d anticipated. In addition, I felt a heightened sense of tenderness towards others over the next few days, which was very heart-​opening. Whether for current issues, or more deeply-​rooted patterns of dis-​ease, I perceive that Dr. Rettner has the experience, skill, gifts and tools to truly make a difference in the lives of those he serves. Dr. Raphael Rettner is the best. I recently had a fall of my bike and managed to hit my elbow and left hip pretty hard. I’ve been having pain in my neck for the last week or so and I was just going to wait it out until a friend of mind talked to me about how I had to go get it checked.
Boy am I happy that I did, during my session Dr. Rettner asked me about all the injuries I’ve had in my life. They include a car accident (over 10 years old), multiple bike crashes, and more. Dr. Rettner found a misalignment for every injury and more.
I came out of his office feeling completely different, I had better posture than when I went in, more focus and definitely more energy. Don’t be like my and wait till 10 years to figure out that you don’t know what’s best for you. Get help now!
