Bohn & Joseph Eye Center is a full service eye care facility committed to providing advanced and quality eye care to Acadiana and the surrounding area.

Bohn & Joseph Eye Center physicians, with the aid of a highly trained staff have performed thousands of surgeries including Laser Surgery, Cataract Surgery, Glaucoma Surgery, Strabismus Correction, Refractive Surgery and Intraocular Lens Implantation. Recently the clinic has added several new procedures including Laser Vision Correction Surgery, Corneal Transplant, Descemet’s Stripping Automated Endothelial Keratoplasty (DSAEK) as well as care and treatment for Chronic Dry Eye.

History

Established in 1976.

The Bohn & Joseph Eye Center was established by Barry A. Bohn, M.D., a preventative ophthalmologist in Lafayette, LA who has 47 years of experience in ophthalmic care. Jonathan M. Joseph, M.D., joined the practice in 1988 enabling the clinic to meet the demands of its rapidly growing patient base. In July of 2010 Bohn & Joseph Eye Center was happy to welcome its newest addition, Kevin R. Swan, M.D. Dr. Swan is a Corneal Specialist who provides care for patients with unique cornea disorders and diseases. His presence as the only Corneal Specialist in the Acadiana area is greatly appreciated by both patients and referring physicians alike.
