This DQ is situated in the student bookstore, toward the back of the store, past the check-out counters. It serves all the same goodies that all the other Dairy Queens serve: Blizzards, ice cream(well, let’s be honest: frozen dairy-like treat), chicken fingers, burgers, fries, sodas, etc. If you’ve been to a DQ, you know what to expect from this one. I was feeling especially juvenile, so I ordered the chicken finger basket, which came with a piece of bread, which was kind of weird. Not a roll, but a slice of bread. It also came with a side of fries, which were decent. The chicken fingers themselves tasted much like what you’d expect from chicken fingers from Dairy Queen: highly breaded and flavored of spent cooking oil. Nevertheless, I ate them all because hello, chicken fingers.

If you’re just going for ice cream, it’s alright but there are definitely better places. Food took a while last time but it’s usually not a problem. Convenient and cheap, but you get what you pay for. Best option if you need something cheap and fast!

The location is convenient and the restaurant is nice(it was recently remodeled). The food is good, but occasionally sloppy. The prices are fine, though.
