Agree with some of the below reviews. Very difficult to get anyone on the phone there and when you finally do, they can’t fit you in for 3+ months. I’m sure he’s a good dentist, but the administrative hassle isn’t worth waiting around for.

They really don’t want any patients here. I agree to another review about not returning voicemail calls. I called several times and left 2 voicemails in the course of couple months, never even talked to anyone in person. I got a feeling this place is shut down. If not, what an amazing service they are providing!

I am so happy to have found Dr. Martin. After relocating to the area, I had asked several people for referrals and I was surprised to hear such glowing reviews about a dentist. Dr. Martin was extremely knowledgable, informative and sweet. He really took the time to explain to me my diagnoses and treatment plan. During my treatment, he made sure that I was comfortable and explained each step to help calm my nerves. I really enjoyed his hygienist too — she was thorough but gentle. His office is busy, but there is no doubt in my mind why. He is wonderful!

Called office for appointment and got voice mail all afternoon. Left voice mail message and waited for call back and didn’t get one. Called office back and they said they were busy and it could take one or two days to return call. They then told me it would be a months wait for an appointment. Guess they don’t really want new patients.

My review is so long overdue. I never thought to leave a Unilocal for Dr. Martin. He doesn’t need help being an awesome dentist!
Been a patient of his since he started up the business. Hands down the best. I always go to Val for my cleanings because she is gentle yet thorough. She is also a pleasure to talk to.

I haven’t been to the dentist in 10 years but decided it was time to bite the bullet and go for a routine teeth cleaning and check-​up. I couldn’t have made a better choice in Dr. Martin and staff for my check-​up. From the very start, my dental hygienist Valorie was extremely personable, warm and comforting. I explained my dilemma of being afraid of drills and she giggled and said I had nothing to worry about. She was right. She did a thorough and diligent job cleaning my teeth without any pain or discomfort and made sure I was feeling comfortable with everything (by explaining what she was doing) throughout the visit. My experience continued to be great after my teeth cleaning as I met Dr. Martin. He was also extremely personable and nice and kept the mood light by talking sports while he examined my teeth and mouth for cavities, etc. He did a thorough and professional check up, again with no pain or discomfort. He also gave me great tips about general hygiene and mouth/​tooth maintenance. The whole experience was 5 Unilocal Stars and my teeth have never looked or felt better. No more 10 years between visits for me. I immediately scheduled a 6 month check up following my visit and look forward to seeing Dr. Martin, Valorie and staff again soon.

After 25 years at the same dentist, I needed to make a change when the good doctor retired. So happy to have found Dr. Martin and his staff. Efficient, friendly, knowledgable, informative, gentle — great at all the things you want your dentist to be great at.

I have never posted a review on Unilocal before but I had to for this experience! I had a molar actually BREAK! I haven’t been to a dentist in years mostly because I don’t like dentists and the last experience I had at another office was awful. I checked Unilocal and saw that Dr. Martins reviews were favorable and his office was close to home for me. His office staff was very kind and got me in to see him quickly. When I arrived I was pleased to see a clean and updated reception area. Very cheerful! I was seen first by Jennifer (she’s a hygienist). She was incredibly friendly and professional. She immediately made me feel comfortable and explained everything clearly to me. I then met Dr. Martin who is very friendly. He also explained everything clearly to me and when the procedure began he was constantly making sure I was comfortable and wasn’t in pain. He was very gentle and I was so happy to not feel pain. I was extremely happy with how my visit went and even happier to have found a nice new dentist for my whole family!

I have delayed going to a dentist for several years then had a crown fall off that needed immediate attention. I found Dr. Martin on Unilocal and could not be happier (in the context that going to the dentist maximizes happiness at a 4 on the 10 point scale).
The staff is friendly, professional and the work was performed right the first time. Since that meeting, I have referred my wife to Dr. Martin and she is equally happy.
If you need a contemporary dentist with a congenial staff and quality work, I recommend Dr. Martin

Everyone here is remarkably caring and detail-​oriented. I do not dread going to my appointments, which says something… I think. Bonus, there is never much waiting involved and it seems they have their system honed. The hygienists are polite, friendly, and thorough. Dr. David is the same and the entire experience is an easy recommendation!

Best dentist ever! I moved to the city a year ago and have been making the trip over the bridge to make the appointments because I like the staff so much. Lately its gotten too hard because work has been hectic. I will miss everyone there:(

Prior reviews have already raved about Terri (assistant), Joyce and Roberta (organized, professional and friendly office staff). To this I want to add two points:
Firstly I recommend Kathy if you have kids for a dental hygienist. She is kind, efficient and really knows how to get them engaged in the process so they cooperate and even enjoy it.
Also, I have personally had four veneers put on by Dr. Martin. He did a fantastic job; they look totally natural, and I finally have the smile I always wanted. There was a little problem with the glue on one of the veneers and Dr. Martin met me after-​hours (so my husband was home to watch the kids) to fix my veneer the day it happened. He was through, considerate and upbeat, even after a long day.
If all dentists were like Dr. Martin, there would not be the stereotype of dreading going to the dentist. My kids love it! With all the friendly faces and little treats for kids they look forward to their appointments.

I had been going to the same family dentist ever since I can remember, and I’m a pretty loyal guy so pulling me away from my first dentists was a difficult task. At the beaconing of a good friend I went in for a cleaning and assessment with Dr. Martin.

Definitely the best dentist I have ever seen. The office staff are great as are the hygienists and assistants. I used to think all dentists did the same work but since visiting Dr. Martin I now understand the high level of skill involved in dentistry. He is very reassuring, trustworthy and caring. I would highly recommend him, especially to those who are a little nervous!

As far as dentists go he is as good as they get. From reception staff, hygienist, and final checkup, I have never been treated with such care and professionalism.
