Specialties

We offer a nurturing, stimulating environment. The children learn through hands on activities with a variety of materials. Our curriculum includes Language, Art, Science, Math and Outdoor Play.

History

Established in 1995.

The church owns the facility. The Pastor and Council hired the Director to operate within the guidelines of the Preschool Board. The school has grown from 12 children to a capacity for 49 children. We have the same Director since 1995.

I am a mother of three. My youngest just started his second year at Joyful Beginnings. I could not be happier with their program. The director, Carolyn, is warm, calm, and experienced. The teachers are warm, loving, and focused on the children. Carolyn and her staff get the kids ready for kindergarten, all in the context of kindness and fun. This program strikes the right balance of structure and play. I love this place and highly recommend it!

Wow. This preschool has one of the lowest vaccination rates in the Bay Area. Only 28% of the children attending are up to date in their vaccines Here is the 2013 – 2014 data. Buyer beware, as they say.
