Established in 1975.

Cal graduate, 1974. For over forty years we have been providing personal service to our customers. When you call, you will be speaking to Marc directly.

We do all phases of plumbing and heating installation and repairs, when our schedule permits.

We are water heater specialists for all of our service area. We install tank and tankless water heaters.

A tankless or on demand water heater is more efficient than a regular water heater. However the initial cost of a tankless water heater is much greater than a standard 40 or 50 gallon tank. The other expense with on-​demand units is going to be the maintenance cost for flushing the unit.

Marc Brenner is hands down the best plumber I’ve ever used! He is knowledgeable, efficient, on time and very reasonable! In fact his level of service exceeds anyone I’ve used in the past 10 years! The 2 plumbers that I consulted prior to him (for a pump replacement on the water heater) one couldn’t even tell me what was wrong, and the other didn’t get back to me with a quote! Marc came right over, assessed the situation for free, and when the pump arrived was there the same day to install (after having researched on line to make sure position etc was correct!!) Amazing! Thank you Marc. You are my plumber for life.

We called Marc because none of the other plumbers on Unilocal were available for 4 days and Marc said he would come right over. Happiness is finding a plumber who is true to his word, arrives on time and does not overcharge. Our leak required getting a leak detection service who also came quickly and the next day Marc came and repaired our pipes. Honest, dependable and trustworthy. He chose to be a plumber instead of going to law school… what does that tell you? Our water had to be turned off for 30 hours, because it was so cold the cement for the connection would not cure. Oh well… we had fun! Thanks Unilocal. we have a wonderful plumber!

We have used Marc Brenner for our plumbing needs for years in our rental property and in our own home. It is not easy to find a plumber who knows what they are doing and who is also honest and fair. Marc is both of these and more. He does high quality work, is very responsible, and backs up his work. I cannot recommend him more highly. We have recommended him to several friends and they are always more than pleased with their interactions and the work. He is a great guy and if you need a plumber, you will be fortunate to have Marc work for you.

Can I give more than 5 stars?
Marc just saved me $ 2600! My very expensive bathtub faucet was leaking so I brought in a rival plumber (I won’t name names) to figure out the problem and fix. This other plumber said that the entire faucet/​valve needed to be replaced ($ 1200) and the labor charge to fix the issue was another $ 1400. It was going to take 2 plumbers 7 hours to do the work. This seemed outragous to me, but then again I’m not a plumber.
I was going to hire this other plumber when I figured a 2nd opinion might be prudent. I then called in Marc, who did some quick internet research, came over twice, took the faucet apart, replaced a $ 0.90 washer, put it back together again and less than 45 minutes later, voila… the faucet does not leek anymore. Seriously, this guy is awesome. I will never, ever call another plumber again. Thanks Marc!!!

Marc was amazing. He is diligent, trustworthy, responsible and a pleasure to deal with, even in difficult circumstances. We had a tricky leak at a rental property, so I wasn’t even on-​site. But he went over and above what I would expect from any repair person. I would definitely use him again and would highly recommend him.

I have used Marc twice to install forced air heating into old houses that had only a floor furnace and all I can say is wow. I absolutely love this guy! I wish all contractors were as honest, skilled and knowledgeable as he is. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone.

Marc Brenner is an amazing plumber. He was the back up plumber when my plumber was out of town. My hot water heater died, and I thought it was a simple job to replace it. He said he would do it that day. Then, unbeknown to us, a flood had occured which we did not see due to the water soaking a very heavy wool rug. When Marc found out about this, he did not waste any time figuring out why there was a flood. Instead, he got down to my place immediately with a fan and blowers and even checked out the sheet rock, which was soaked, and then replaced it for free. He was really incredible. If that was not enough, I got an email from him today recommending how to protect against any future floods down there, even if the new hot water heater lasts 10 years! He is highly recommended; very ethical and smart.
