I was introduced to Paddy in March 2015 by a friend who purchased a home in Orinda. Paddy was very easy to work with and used a good approach to shortlist relevant houses based on my needs. He spent a lot of time with me in visiting various places in the LaMorinda area. We bought our home in Moraga in the summer of 2015. We are well settled and very happy with the decision made and Paddy’s professional advice and assistance through the process.

Paddy brought a thorough and analytical approach to selling our Orinda house in the Fall of 2015. He looked through forty comparable sales to help us come up with not the easiest price for him to sell but the one most likely to maximize value for us-​even if it meant more work for him. He was invariably responsive and thoughtful about the hundred details that came up in the process of negotiating a sale. It made what could have been a very stressful experience smooth. Paddy is excellent to work with. We were looking for a home for over 7 months and Paddy stuck with us through the entire process. When we got outbid on homes, he kept our hopes alive. When we went to bid but backed out, he remained patient and moved us on to the next property. Paddy was always contactable by text, by email, by phone and of course always there for viewing homes.

He has such a positive, «can do» attitude, it really kept us in the game and made us find our house. We ended up buying a beautiful property in Moraga and we can’t be happier. We interviewed several different agents, all had experience but some were quite unenthusiastic or were maybe too laid back and others were simply obnoxious and over powering. Paddy was honest and knowledgeable. He gave us straightforward advice, did not over elaborate or talk BS. He fit into to our extremely busy schedules, responded immediately to text’s, email’s or phone calls. In our interview We were first time buyers, from Europe, so were very unfamiliar with the normal American house buying procedures. Paddy took time to explain any questions we had. We kept our house hunt a secret from our children in order to reduce anxiety over the long process, as a result we needed to view houses separately and one of us could not go to the open houses. Paddy spent time one or two nights every week between 5−8pm to take one of us to viewings and this was for nearly 5 months. We saw at least 70 – 80 houses and Paddy was extremely helpful and encouraging throughout our hunt. Paddy is also a very nice guy, and good companion during our house hunting, this was very important due to the amount of time we spend together with Paddy, it was immediately apparent he had significant experience, knowledge of the market and had lived in a few different areas in our area.

Paddy has previous experience as a developer/​contractor and could helpfully point out issues that we had not considered. He also recommended our loan company (JV Lending) when our own bank agents were slow to respond.
In finalizing all the detail work involved in closing the deal and completing the contracts, Paddy was very helpful and was always on top of all closing requirements. He also made sure we got the best deal possible, even when he could have ended up with more commission had we paid a higher price.

Paddy helped us buy a great house in Lafayette about a year ago. He is very knowledgeable about the housing market in Lafayette. He found us a house that was within our small budget and in the neighborhood we wanted. He was super responsive and gave us sound advice throughout the buying process. My story is different from the others but yet exactly the same. See I owned a rental in Concord and upon my last rental inspection of the property I became fed up with living so far from my rental. I was referred to Paddy from a friend and being that I live 7 hours away from the property Paddy and I made a last minute appointment at the property. He literally made the appointment around 8pm the night before via text message. I was more than happy to see that he arrived more than prompt as I was in the process of attempting to clean up the house. He took less than 10 minutes looking at the home and told me that he had contacts that would get the place ready to show in about 2 weeks. We spoke a little more but I felt confident enough to hand him over the keys and walk away with a handshake. This man had nothing but confidence that he would not only have my house show worthy in little time but that I would be making a great profit. Not only did he have the inside and outside painted, sod was laid, electrical was fixed, new carpet was laid and the house was cleaner than when I bought it. This was all done with nothing out of pocket because Paddy had a team of men who would take their pay from escrow. Once the house was ready to show Paddy spent a weekend holding an open house and just like that found me a buyer for 5% over asking. Through the closing process we determined that the house would need a new roof. What do you know, Paddy had a guy that would take care of it! Not only did he put on a new roof but Paddy negotiated the price for me and got a great warrantee for the buyer and the roofer would take payment at close of escrow.
I would recommend this man to all my friends and family, anyone looking to buy or sell should make him your first call. He will not blow smoke and tell you some BS that you want to hear. He is a straight shooter and always tells you like it is. This man has all kinds of connections and takes charge in all that he did for me. I could not have asked for a better experience. Like I said I live 7 hours away and he took over everything for me. All I had to do was sign paperwork and give things my ok. Normally I would never do this because I don’t normally feel that comfortable with someone. But Paddy gave me the comfort and just put all the cards out on the table leaving nothing to chance. This man has brought back my respect for realtors today!
