Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner

Lafayette, Louisiana, is Tammy’s hometown, but when it was time to spread her wings, she landed in Washington D.C. for 17 years. Filled with wisdom and new experiences, she moved back to Louisiana to dabble in oilfield sales for 7 years. While living in Mandeville, LA, Tammy discovered Corks ‘n’ Canvas and decided it would be a fun business to own. At that time, there were no franchises, but they were working on it. They changed the name to «Painting with a Twist», and in July 2009, Lafayette became the first Painting with a Twist franchise to open for business. Tammy loved the business so much that she opened her second studio in New Iberia, LA, in March 2011. If Tammy is not in the studio, you will find her soaking up the sun on a beach. An advocate for animals, she provides a home to Frito, Gizmo, Titeaux and Markie.
