Randi began practicing Five Element Acupuncture in 2006. She incorporates her Western medical training as a nurse into her acupuncture practice. Randi is highly skilled in eastern and western medicine practices.

Randi earned a Licentiate and a Master’s Degree of Acupuncture from the Institute of Taoist Education & Acupuncture in August of 2006. The 3 year program consists of 3500 hours of education including a minimum of 510 clinical practice. She was certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) in March of 2007. This included certification in Clean Needle Technique.

Randi is a member of the Acupuncture Association of Colorado and the Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine Alliance (AOM). In June 2007, Randi completed a four-​day training session as an Auricular Detoxification Acupuncture Specialist. The training was sponsored by the National Acupuncture Detoxification Association (NADA).

She obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from the University of Texas at Austin in 1987 and her Master’s degree in Psychiatric Nursing in 1992 from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. She currently holds a Colorado Nursing License.
