Rocket Skate is proud to be the first shop in Colorado to offer the revolutionary Blademaster BFD sharpening system as well as traditional sharpening.

We carry major hockey brands at competitive prices including Warrior, Bauer, CCM, Reebok Easton, Sher-​wood and Tackla. In figure skates we stock Riedell, Jackson, Eclipse, MK/​Wilson, Zuca, Chloe Noël and many other great brands. If it isn’t in stock, we’re happy to order what you’re looking for as well.

History

Established in 2006.

Rocket Skate was created to make equipment and services more convenient and to offer the highest level of service possible. Yeah, our hours are a sometimes little odd, but that’s because we want to be here, rinkside, when people need us. That in mind, we’re here for adult league hockey in the evenings, and all day on Saturdays during youth hockey seasons.

Customer service is our top priority at Rocket Skate. We want you to be informed about your purchase and to fully understand what to expect from whatever gear you buy from us. Advice is always free and honest. We strive to find the right product for our customer’s need and in the event that we don’t have it or cannot get it, we’ll even point you in the right direction rather than trying to put you in something that won’t fit your needs.

Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner

Owner, Scott Noble has been in the hockey and figure skating business since 2001. His tenure in skate sharpening included tutelage with the assistant equipment manager for the Colorado Avalanche on the hockey front. On the figure skating side he trained with both the Technical Sales Representative of GAM skates and the lead technician for Fleming Gray Skate Sharpeners (who sharpened for several Canadian Olympic skaters).

He’s written numerous articles which have helped hundreds of people make informed decisions regarding equipment purchases. Two of his articles on skate sharpening are part of the permanent collection in the Hockey Hall of Fame. He’s also the author of the highly acclaimed book, Hockey for Weekend Warriors. In December of 2011 Scott’s first novel, «Speaking of Life, Death, and Hockey. .. «hit the shelves. It has also been highly reviewed.
