As first time home buyers, the process of purchasing a home can be daunting. Scott walked us through the process and made it easy. He worked within our budget and never pushed us into a purchase. From the first time we met Scott, we could just tell he was the right realtor for us. Scott is extremely hard working as he spent over 6 long months to find us the right house in our price range. Never once did he push us into something we weren’t comfortable with and he seemed just as emotionally invested as we were to finding us the right property. Scott goes far beyond what a typical realtor will do for his clients, including meeting us several times a week on short notice to view new home listings. He also took the time to help us fully understand the closing process, inspections, and paperwork which can be extremely daunting to a first-​time home buyer. We highly suggest working with Scott– he has a great sense of humor to go along with a killer work ethic and makes house hunting, which can be very stressful at times, an enjoyable process.

We were FIRST TIME home buyers… which basically means, «please take advantage and make sure we have a horrible time of this!» But that does not happen once you start working with Scott. There are so many things that he brings to the table when it comes to helping with the entire process of home buying. First of all, he is absolutely wonderful to work with. He is pleasant, responsive but not at all suffocating. He is very well liked in the community and has wonderful relationships with the rest of the real estate world here, which matters once you start your negotioations… trust me! He grew up in the area and you can tell that by his immense knowledge of all the nooks and crannies of all the neighborhoods. My husband and I can say without a shadow of doubt that we would never have gotten the house we got, for the price we got, without Scott being on our side! We have already told every friend we have about Scott and the rest of Kurt Piper Group. Best experience ever!

We worked with Scott to buy our first home in the east bay in September. Scott was very knowledgable, informative and most of all patient and honest. He walked us through the whole process from beginning to end and understood how to balance our emotions with making a smart decision. We spent many weekends going to open houses together all over the east bay and scott impressed us greatly by his willingness to see homes at any hour or day. He worked around our schedules and never once made it seem like an inconvenience. With every house we looked at, Scott helped us find any flaws or issues with the house or property so we could make the right decision on the place, ensuring that we wouldn’t be sold on something by how it was dressed up. In the end, his market savvy approach landed us the perfect home and he helped us expertly negotiate the inspection and closing processes.
