Snow-​Hut offers custom ski/​snowboard edge tuning, base grinds, hot wax, repairs, and bindings mounts. Also, we do custom boot molding. We offer fast, quality service, with free pick up and delivery.

History

Established in 2013.

I have been tuning skis and boards for 25yrs. Finally, 3 years ago, I have decided to buy a stone grinder and I start tuning out of my two car garage. Business has been really good with excellent feedback and reviews.

So, I have had to move in to new space… We are now at 200 E. South Boulder Rd. in Lafayette.

Ski Racer, who had a 3 ski shops in war torn Sarajevo, came to Colorado in 1994. Started working in ol’ BSD, when BSD was mom and pop shop. I have tuned skis for CU ski team, 4 years in a row for US women team for 24hrs of Aspen, US women Freestyle team for Olympics in Japan (Nagano), Help design Rossignol Race plate. Also, I have tuned few times skis for athletes like: Tommy Moe, Johhny Mosley, Rob Gaffney, Seth Morrison…

«WOW» we exclaimed as we hit the slops with our fresh tunes. I have never had a better tune on any ski. Expert service and advise. Reasonable prices and the opportunity for some great demo skis. This is our preferred ski shop.

In addition to being an excellent craftsman who offers tech services at a reasonable rate, Timur is a really friendly and jovial guy. I always enjoy going to his shop, and his attention to detail and customer service is superb. He’s happy to turn your order around fast so you can get back on your boards ASAP. While I hope to keep my bases and edges in good shape for a while, it’s always a pleasure doing business with him and I look forward to the next visit. :)

Went to get 2 pairs of skis tuned up for a trip. Have been out of the sport for a couple years and the owner was great to talk to. Fast service, and very reasonable prices for ski tuning. He also offers pretty great rates on ski rentals. Small shop but a real expert who knows what he is doing.
