Treefrog Marketing was established in 2000 by Kelly Rice because she saw that small business didn’t have affordable options for strategic assistance in marketing and communication needs. Since 2000, our company has grown into a full service marketing and communications agency specializing in small business.

Our location is downtown Lafayette where we work with clients to help them become strategically thinking companies.

I firmly believe that small business is the backbone of America. I was raised on a 900-​acre farm near Lafayette, Indiana. I learned that being a business owner was very, very hard, but rewarding work. Dad taught me to always try to do the right thing (no matter the cost), to work hard for everything, give your best (no matter if you succeed or fail) and how to successfully operate a business while raising a family.

Without understanding the end goal and the target audience (needs and wants) of a project, it never mattered how great the campaign looked. Campaigns were not as successful if strategy wasn’t in the forefront. I’ve seen a lot of budget dollars wasted due to a lack of strategy.

Treefrog Marketing was founded on the belief that strategy is the rock of all marketing efforts — no matter how large or small the project. With limited marketing budgets, strategy helps us evaluate the best marketing tactics for small business.
