Specialties

Detoxification — Detoxification is our most intensive form of treatment that begins upon admission. We can detox all substances (alcohol and drugs), and you will be monitored around the clock by our healthcare professionals to provide a safe and comfortable experience.

Inpatient Care — Once you are physically healed, our licensed counselors utilize a variety of treatment methods including individual, group, and gender-​specific therapy and education to begin mental and emotional healing. Clients will have access to 12-​Step meetings, spirituality and meditation groups, physical training, dietician, and acupuncture all aimed to treat clients holistically. Program can be between two weeks to 45 days.

Outpatient Care — Our Intensive Outpatient Program provides the benefits of treatment with added flexibility. With sessions at night, you are able to continue to live your life going to work or school. IOP combines group, individual, and family therapy to provide a solid foundation for recovery. Sessions focus on education, relapse prevention, spirituality, 12-​Steps, and a variety of other topics. Sessions are held 3 nights each week for 12 weeks. Upon admittance to our outpatient program, clients will meet with a clinician for orientation. IOP clients will often have access to guest speakers presenting in our auditorium.

Aftercare– clients may continue to come to outpatient group sessions once per week for up to a year after completion of the IOP program.

Victory Addiction Recovery Center recently celebrated its 1 year anniversary. We have a brand new, updated and spacious facility. We are more than just another drug and alcohol treatment center. Our experienced, licensed clinical and medical staff is committed to full family recovery. Treatment is individualized, focusing on the mind, body and soul. We strive to provide the best substance abuse services possible, while helping move our community forward.

Our facility houses a state of the art auditorium where guest speakers give presentations on a variety of topics for our Victory Community Forum series. In addition, we host support groups and other events, all in a family friendly and alcohol/​substance free environment.

Meet the Manager

Melanie C.

Manager

Melanie Courville, CEO of Victory Addiction Treatment Center has an extensive history not only in behavioral healthcare but in the community of Lafayette. Ms. Courville was born and raised in New Iberia, Louisiana, and she is a registered nurse by trade, having graduated in 1986 from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette with a B.S. in Nursing. Eleven years sober, Melanie is dedicated to providing quality addiction to the community in which she not only understands the needs, but calls home.

Her work experience includes 18 years of both staff and management positions with Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center in Lafayette, LA, and St. Luke’s Episcopal Hospital in Houston, TX. Most recently, Melanie held the position of CEO for Acadiana Addiction Center in Lafayette LA, where she began as a nurse shortly after its opening in 2004.
