History

Established in 2012.

Dr. Paes received his degree in Dental Surgery from the State University of New York at Buffalo, and completed his Residency in General Dentistry at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in New York. He has been proudly serving the Hudson Valley and Dutchess County community since 2006 and is very excited to continue this trend for years to come. Dr. Paes has always taken pride in offering his patients the best technology dentistry has to offer; from digital X-​rays, which cuts the radiation down by more than 90% when compared to conventional dental x-​rays, to lasers that enhance healing and minimize post-​op discomfort.

Enhancing patients smiles either through a Single Porcelain Veneer or Full Mouth Reconstruction has been one of the most rewarding aspects of Dentistry for Dr. Paes. Over the years, he has attended several Continuing Education Courses on the subject and continues to keep up with the latest technology.

Over the years, Dr. Paes has attended several Continuing Education Courses on the subject and continues to keep up with the latest techniques Dentistry has to offer. His office is conveniently located in LaGrangeville, NY, where he can serve patients from Poughkeepsie, Fishkill, and LaGrange.

In addition, Dr. Paes is an active member of ADA, AACD, ICOI, 9th District Dental Assocation, and NYSDA.

When he’s not spending time with his family, you will probably find him out on the local golf course. He also enjoys playing tennis, raquetball and squash, and watching Football.

I found Dr Paes & the staff at Town Center Dental of LaGrange to be especially professional, thorough, and friendly in my visits there.
The hygienist not only cleaned my teeth really well and reviewed proper home care to me but she also took measurements of my gums to compare to at future appointments. Dr Paes didn’t just look at my teeth but also did a cancer check on the gums and skin in my mouth.
Since I had broken two teeth Dr Paes made two crowns for me over two visits. He put on temporary crowns to protect both teeth between visits. He was always concerned about my comfort while he was treating me. Both of the crowns match the color of my other teeth and feel like natural teeth also.
The staff at the appointment desk was always easy to work with and very welcoming in their approach.
The office was extremely clean & all staff members neat in appearance. I look forward to my next checkup!

Going to any dentist raises my anxiety. Having to find a new dentist after my move from California to New York was something I didn’t look forward to. I went to Dr. Paes and Town Center Dental of Lagrange based on a very high endorsement from my son-​in-​law and I am glad I did. Dr. Paes and his staff have been consistently professional, friendly, and considerate of my many concerns. I received outstanding consultation and treatment on all levels — including clear, competitive pricing and many options for different approaches I could choose based on my timing, finances, and comfort level. I am glad to call Town Center Dental of Lagrange my «dental home.» The work of Dr. Paes’s work is stellar and the offices are clean, modern, comfortable, and beautiful. Everyone seems to work together well and seem glad to be there. Highly recommend it.

It now appears Town Center Dental of Lagrange certainly does NOT care about HIPPA rules and regulations and does NOT care to protect patient confidentiality! How DARE they discuss my dental information and insurance info on the internet ! I just sent a complaint with the BBB! Not to mention the 25 minute phone call this Dr Paes called me regarding my review. He is so bothered by my feelings and comments he had to all me at 7:45pm to discuss my review and beg me take it down. My honesty and opinion is just that, my opinion! I don’t see him commenting on any other reviews, good or bad.

Excellent dental office! The staff is very warm and friendly. I felt completely comfortable, which can be difficult in a dental office. Dr. Paes is caring and gentle. He took time to understand my concerns and explain my treatment options. I felt like the doctor had my best interest in mind and there was no pressure or unnecessary services being advised. The office is beautiful and modern. I would highly recommend to friends and family.

FYI–
I am writing this review on behalf of my father’s experience and my interaction with the staff. I feel that they are very ethical, understanding and highly competent. (I did my research and several friends have said great things about Dr. Paes). I live in another state, but Dr. Paes practices in my hometown.
My father has seen some of the worst dentists in his life. The idea of an injection not being excruciating was a foreign concept to him. The idea of not being in pain after the work was foreign to him.
My Dad’s old dentist retired. We had to find him a new one. Enter Town Center Dental.
Dr. Paes himself is a very friendly and thoughtful doctor. My father was in his waiting room and over heard a few patients raving about the Doctor and Dawn his hygienist. It immediately gave him some relief.
Dr. Paes started by treating my father. I have never seen my father so happy. He loved the staff– they took an extra effort to make him feel welcome, to explain everything to him.

I used to be so afraid of the dentist that I would bring my husband with me to appointments. For years we didn’t have dental insurance and when I finally did get insurance I was scared and embarrassed to go. After being shamed by a dentist when I did try to go, I only went when I was in pain. Finally I have found an office that is so kind and patient I am not afraid to go. I even go by myself without my husband in tow! I highly recommend this office. The compassion and level of care are wonderful!

I live in LaGrangeville and was looking for a new family dentist. I happened upon Town Center Dental. I’m not a big fan of the dentist and wasn’t sure what to expect. Town Center Dental was great. I noticed that they had just opened in February of 2013. The office is clean and modern. The receptionist was very polite and helpful. they brought out a couple of iPads so my daughter could occupy herself while we waited. The dental hygienist was very friendly and caring to both my child and I. She explained the procedures step by step and even went over all that my insurance would cover. It was extremely helpful and I didn’t have to go through the hassle of wondering what would be covered and how much it would cost. I’ve never had such an experience and am truly glad I found this place. I left with a folder for future appointments and cost. Oh and if you have Guardian insurance they take it there. I see Dr. Paes on my next visit. I’m in good hands there.
