Advanced Scratch Removal

Recently our glass shower enclosure was scratched from a recent cleaning crew (but not according to them) and this company was called out by the owner of the cleaning company to fix it. They came to our house today and made several comments about how the scratches could’ve been made and basically suggested it was NOT the cleaning crew because of course they know them so well. My wife was at the house while the owner of Advanced Scratch Removal was doing the work and listening to these comments and suggestions. First of all he says that a rag that was dropped could’ve made the scratches or using the wrong towel. Then later on he suggested that a razor blade made the scratches and insinuated that in no way a cleaning company’s rag or squeegee could’ve done it, totally contradicting what he initially said. My wife repeated AGAIN that we do not touch the glass EVER. The whole bathroom is only 20 months old and we have had a cleaning crew clean it every two weeks since it was done. Not once have we ever taken a rag, towel, razor, or anything to it. So before he leaves he makes the comment of «Don’t use razor blades to clean your glass anymore.» Not only is that an incredibly rude comment to make, it was totally none of his business. In addition he said he normally charges $ 800 – 900 for this job, but since he felt sorry for the owner of the cleaning business, he only charged her $ 500. First of all, that is ridiculous. We had 2 other quotes from actual glass companies and both quoted us $ 350. It is not this guy’s place to make judgment on how the scratches originated, but just buff the scratches out. So not only would I not use him for that, he is totally overpriced or either overstated about what he really charges. He clearly had a relationship with the owners of the cleaning company and treated my wife this way because he sided with them because of their friendship/​working relationship.
