History

Established in 2012.

Avran Art+Design was established to bring to the Laguna Beach art scene a bold collection of coveted artworks by the top Hungarian glass artists of our time. Owners Marta and Tibor Juhasz came to Orange County from Hungary just over 25 years ago and eventually setteled with their two children in Corona del Mar. The Juhasz success in career and personal life afforded Marta to live her dream of sharing the unique artistic talents of this select grouping of artists. The gallery’s design is Marta’s personal, sopisticated, cosmopolitan showcase for these museum quality art glass, paintings and photography. Avran will continue to inspire as it evolves into Southern California’s must see gallery.

Meet the Business Owner

Marta J.

Business Owner

Marta J came to the US from Hungary over 25 years ago. She and her husband Tibor not only raised two wonderful children, Adam and Vicky, but they also have been successful in their individual careers in IT and Medical Applications. They reside in the coastal community of Corona del Mar.

As ‘empty nesters’, Marta’s side passion for interior design has created a cosmopolitan backdrop to the rotating exhibitions that will fill the gallery over the years.
