This was not the super fun experience we were hoping for. Although people at the other end of the Cluehoo contact phone number and email were very helpful, the hunt itself was lacking. A photo never worked, the English grammar and spelling were incorrect in some places on the materials (we were a group of writers and teachers) and the clues were poorly explained, to name a few issues. I’m not sure it was necessary for us all to pay either. Luckily we used amazon local deals. The original price is WAY too high. Even at $ 10 I was thinking it was overpriced. Sorry Cluehoo, a great idea that needs work.

What a great way to spend a few hours in Laguna Beach! The ClueHoo Adventure winds you through beautiful views and interesting items in the city. It’s a great thing for any age, in fact kids would probably love locating and solving the clues, especially with some of the gadgets you are given for your adventure. Don’t miss out on this fun way to see Laguna. The staff could not be more gracious and service-​oriented.

We were in the area for my son’s water polo tournament and had a few hours to do something Saturday morning. We love new experiences so when I saw the website for ClueHoo I knew we had to try it. Part tour, part scavenger hunt and clue solving adventure, this is a great way to spend a few hours. I loved the fact that we could make a reservation for a specific day and start anytime that day. You can also go as fast or as slow as you want.
We did the Vista Adventure and had a great time! We happened to run into Urs (your contact during the adventure) a couple times. He was at the kiosk filling it with adventure kits when we started and we later met up with him at one of the other stops. One of the stops on the adventure wasn’t open when we were ready so we elected to wait 25 minutes enjoying the ocean view form one of the benches in the park. You always have an alternate choice in case a location is not open. Definitely try the speed challenges. They were also fun and provided some additional challenges. We will be back to try the other 2 adventures when we return to Laguna. Tip– check for a Groupon!

We did the Laguna Vista and had a great time with our family of five. Two adults and three girls, ages 6, 8 and 9.
Really well planned out and the clues are a little hard to get! Took more brain power than i was expecting. Highly recommend to anyone on the fence, we look forward to trying the other two Laguna beach adventures later this year.

Super fun night doing one of the ClueHoo adventures. Makes you feel like you are on Amazing Race. Will definitely return to do the other two courses!

This was a fun way to spend time with friends in a beautiful setting. My husband and I completed the Laguna Citta Adventure with another couple. We enjoyed figuring out the clues together, and also competing against each other on the optional Speed Challenges.
You can play any time from 7 am to 7 pm; you just start whenever you arrive by checking in at an automated kiosk and entering your reservation code. You get a box full of the materials you will need for the day’s hunt. It was nice to have flexibility and not worry about checking in at a specific time. Likewise, you can determine the pace of your Adventure and go as quickly or as slowly as your team wants to. If you have a playful attitude, you’ll have a great time on your Adventure!
Customer service was outstanding. Urs (the person you will be working with) set up everything for us and answered our questions via email. He is super friendly and helpful. It was also an unexpected surprise to get a treat at one of the clue spots.
At the end of the day, my husband said he wanted to do another Cluehoo Adventure in a different city. He was bummed to hear that Laguna is currently the only city where Cluehoo is available, but was happy to learn that there are 3 different Laguna Adventures to choose from. He is ready to book one of the others so we can play again!

My family received a scavenger hunt gift certificate as a Christmas gift from cousins. We were unsure what it involved at first, but we had a great time! You check in at the store, per directions, collect your supplies from the kiosk out front and then follow the clues on the iphone/​ipad app. The language on the app is a little peculiar at times, it must have been translated by a non-​native English speaker, but it added to the charm of the experience. The park you start out in is beautiful beyond description and we had a lovely, sunny day. Without giving away too much, there are some unexpected extras added in along the way. I’m glad to have spent the day in Laguna, gotten up close with some of the sculptures and artwork and figured out all of the clues.

what a blast we had… what a great way to spend an afternoon and early evening in Laguna Beach… each clue event was just great and you definitly had to do some thinking to solve them… give yourself time to go to a restaurant and some shopping while you are playing… takes about three hours to complete without taking a break, so enjoy the city while playing an awesome game and challenge. we took our dog along with us and he was pretty tired by the time we got done, but was a real gamer going all the way

What an incredible idea and a perfect family outing. We had a blast. Thank you so much. We’ll bring out of town guests next time.

I went on a date doing the Laguna Vista hunt, and we had such a great time! It’s so fun to see how one company is involved with small local businesses. I loved being able to see Laguna in ways I never did before. It creates a great way to discover a community, whether you’ve been there regularly or you’re visiting for the first time! Not only was the experience fun, it was also so well organized and run. Shout-​out to True, he helped us through our experience and was a great representative of the company.
All in all, a fun, creative and enjoyable experience! I’d do it again in a heartbeat.

So we just finished up The Laguna Citta ClueHoo and I have to say we really had a blast! What a fun way to spend an afternoon. Highly recommend for family, friends or creative date!

What to do on a kids day off from school? Why, go on an adventure! We had beautiful weather for a fun stroll around Laguna Beach and ClueHoo made sure to keep us on our toes with awesome challenges. I had my 16, 11 and 9 year old sons with me and there was something for everyone to enjoy and feel as if they contributed. The extra treats definitely brought smiles to our faces and we learned a lot along the way. I also loved how involved the local community shops were. Thanks for a fantastic adventure ClueHoo!

My three friends and I really enjoyed our ClueHoo experience. We opted for the Laguna Vista hunt, which gave us a beautiful view of the beach and Heisler Park. All the clues were fairly easy to figure out, but not too easy — it was still a very fun and fulfilling experience. We did do all the speed challenges in addition to the regular clues. I recommend doing them as they really don’t add that much time to the scavenger hunt, so you might as well! At one clue point we did have a slight problem with the app (which is still currently only available via Apple) but it wasn’t anything big and it didn’t keep us from moving along. Urs is very helpful and available via the ClueHoo hotline. You can tell he really cares and wants his customers to have a great experience. I’d love to try the other two hunts and hope to see ClueHoo become available in other major cities!

I was looking for something to do for my employee for her birthday. I have done many scavenger hunts with various companies, but I was not sure what time we would be able to get away from the office. I found ClueHoo on Groupon and saw that there was not a set start time and we could do the hunt any time! It was a perfect solution. Unfortunately, I did not read the fine print that you had to have an iPhone or iPad. Being an android user, I called the ClueHoo number in a panic. Urs was so helpful and kind and we came up with a solution so that we could still do the activity!
The game itself was extremely well done, and we had a wonderful time. Hidden treats along the way as we discovered Laguna, and at the end we had the additional surprise of meeting Urs himself! I truly recommend ClueHoo as it is well organized, the service is wonderful, and the event itself flawless. Thank you ClueHoo for a great afternoon!

We found ClueHoo on Groupon and I am so glad we did! My husband and I, our 12 year old granddaughter and our little schnorkie Zoe had a great time doing the Citta hunt and will return to do the other two.
Urs is a great guy and goes out of his way to be helpful. The clues are not too hard but do sometimes take a bit of hunting and/​or thinking. If you are stumped by any of the clues or get lost, Urs is just a phone call away!
We did the hunt early in the morning so the ice cream store wasn’t yet open but Urs very kindly gave us a voucher to get an ice cream later. We parked beside City Hall for $ 3 and walked to The Pub coffee shop, which is right around the corner, to meet Urs. The adventure started and ended at The Pub.
Curremtly, the ClueHoo app is only available on IPhone but Urs is working on getting an Android version. We were able to borrow an IPhone from him to do the hunt.
This scavenger hunt is good for kids of all ages! You even get a surprise at the end. There is a button in the app that gives you a little history of the different spots you visit.
And if you like big shaggy adorable puppies, you will love Jagi!

What a wonderful experience! I wanted to do a small work group event (usually we do Newport Duffy boats, drinks and lunch) but we wanted to do something more interactive and I ran across an amazon local deal for this! Sounded kind of cheesy, but for $ 50 for 5 people how could I lose???
Our group was actually 7 adults (ages 25 – 45) and WE HAD A BLAST! We were with 2 Laguna Beach natives and they might have had the most fun out of all of us! Urs is the owner and soooo reliable (I called him probably 5 times throughout the hunt and again to chat and thank him for the wonderful day!) Just booked another Citta tour for my family for Mothers day and I cannot recommend this enough! I LOVE CLUEHOO.

I actually saw this because of an Amazon deal that was 2 adults for $ 20, which is cheap for a scavenger hunt game.
I accidentally booked the wrong date, and I sent them an e-​mail and I was worried, but they replied to the email. It was the owner, Urs. And he was REALLY helpful. Before reading the email though I also made a call to their office half way and hung up when I saw the email and he called back too. Their customer service is amazing, because they really care for /​value your business.
If you don’t know what this is, it’s basically a scavenger hunt you can do ANYTIME, but you have to pick one of 3 adventures and reserve the date on-​line first. You get an e-​mail. The e-​mail will genereally tell you what to do, but your next step would be to download the app, enter the activation code found in your email to the app, and go to the parking location, which is given in email, and start the adventure on your app to get to the start location.
I played the Laguna Vista one, to be honest it was FUN. :) They cluehoo helpers were REALLY friendly and it was an ADVENTURE. Laguna Vista is more art museum involved though, I’d say. HAD FUN THOUGH. THANKS!

What an incredible day to spend Easter Sunday as an adult. Rather than searching for eggs, we got to search for clues thanks to ClueHoo. It is fantastic that this scavenger hunt is dog friendly, we had fun taking our puppy along the adventure. The clues are not too difficult once you get the hang of things. The timed challenges are fun for a little competitiveness, but we really enjoyed just scavenging at our leisure. We did the Laguna Citta tour and our pup was exhausted by the end of it. It was fantastic to meet the creator of this awesome adventure, he was so friendly and enthusiastic. I can’t wait to do the other hunts and will be looking forward to visit San Diego when they finish creating their scavenger hunts for there. Thank you for the great adventure!

ClueHoo is a wonderfully FUN & UNIQUE experience! I am a huge fan! It is the perfect way to hang out with friends while being active and doing something totally different.
I did the Laguna Citta tour with a group of friends a few weeks ago to celebrate one of their birthdays. It was a really different way to spend time together. We got to walk around the beautiful Laguna Beach area while solving very clever puzzles. There were also several neat surprises. We had some really funny moments on our tour and got great pictures!
Yesterday, I did the Laguna Matata tour while on a date. It was a perfect way to spend the day! The Laguna Matata tour was more challenging in terms of distance, hills and area covered than the Laguna Citta tour, but just as fun, if not more! It gave us time to talk and get to know each other better, while still engaging in a fun activity. There were some very memorable, and hilarious, moments along the way! I recommend doing all the timed challenges because these add a lot to the game.
When you pick your tour, just think about the time you have to spend and the amount you’d like to walk. Both adventures are equally fun and challenging. The clues are so creative and you see areas and places that you probably never would have noticed or ventured into without being prompted by ClueHoo. It made me appreciate how beautiful this area is even that much more than before. I think this is a perfect activity for both locals and tourists.
Urs, the owner, provides help at anytime if you get stuck. He is so friendly and encouraging. ClueHoo’s customer service is truly AMAZING!
I think this idea is genius and I am so excited to do the third tour available in Laguna. Hopefully, the San Diego ones will be up and running soon because I will definitely want to try those!
