One of the best experiences I’ve ever had at a hotel. It is clean, lively yet quiet, right next to the beach, and the service was absolutely excellent. It went above and beyond my expectations. I would definitely come back repeatedly. Thank you to all of the employees who helped make this a great stay,!

I have a question for all the guys out there, how many times have you found yourself in the dog house with your lady because of something you said or did wrong? I rarely find myself in said situation but when I do flowers are always a nice way to get back in the good graces of my woman. If I throw in some sweets with those flowers then no matter what I did all will be forgiven and forgotten(eventually). Well in Laguna Beach there is a one stop shop that sells flowers and home made cupcakes. Yes cupcakes and flowers, what a crazy combo. My friend Steve M knows that I’m super obsessed with cupcakes and told me that the best cupcakes in Laguna Beach come from the Laguna Beach House. I imagined this place would look like a normal gourmet CC shop(Sprinkles, SusieCakes) but when I walked in all I could see was a sea of beautiful flowers. Roses, Lilly’s, Tulips, you name it they had it. Then up by the counter they had a little case(which was not refrigerated) that was full of little cupcakes. I hesitated at first because who knew how long they had been sitting out. Well after a minute I decided that Steve M would never recommend a place to me that sold an inferior CC so I decided to get two of them. I got a Pineapple Coconut and a Red Velvet. My GF got a PB Chocolate. I was shocked once I bite into my Pineapple Coconut CC. It was by far the moistest CC I have ever eaten. The pineapple cake was so delicious. The frosting was also unlike any other that I have tried before. It was very lite and buttery, not heavy at all. The RV was also super moist. The frosting was different from what I am used to for a Red Velvet but it was still good. My girls PB chocolate was also amazing. My girl usually gives me two bites of her CC but with this one she only gave me one small bite. The price for a cupcake here is three dollars. Since the cupcakes are a lot smaller then normal gourmet cupcakes I felt that three dollars was kind of pricy. I would still defiantly go back if I was in the area. Thanks Steve M for the tip, I’m really glad I listened to you and tried LBH. I just wish this place was a little closer to my home, it would definitely come in handy on those rare occasions that I need to bribe my girl to let me back into the house.

The frosting is different than any other I’ve had in OC. It is very buttery, whippy. not hard at all like some of the other places. It has to be made in house from scratch. It isn’t as sweet as I’d l wish. but it is different. I tried the red velvet and chocolate cupcakes. Both were good, and the cakes were soft. Also, the city of LB take Visa or MC on the parking meters outside of this place, so now I don’t have to fumble around with change!

NOWCLOSED… If you know only one thing about me — it’s that I love Cupcakes. Ok, you probably know I love the Redwings too — oh yeah and that I love corned beef and… Oops — let me get back to the topic. Laguna Beach House has a dandy little selection of extremely tasty cupcakes. Not the Susiecakes kind of dense buttercream — but light and whipped almost. Buttery goodness. The cake portion — very moist. PROS — It’s delicious and in my neighborhood. CONS — It’s delicious and in my neighborhood! Like that’s going to help my weight watchers…
