This dentist office is always so kind! The work they do is painless and makes you feel totally comfortable! We will be coming here for years to come! My husband was uncomfortable with every dentist we tried until finding this office. He no longer in anxious coming for a visit. Also I had to bring my baby with me and I was allowed to lie him on my chest while my teeth were cleaned, it was so kind and patient to accommodate me and my little one when I couldn’t get a sitter. Highly recommend!

I love this dentist office! I think this is the first time I can actually say I don’d mind going to the dentist. I started going here after I saw some good reviews on Unilocal.I have had my teeth cleaned, i even had to have a filling and it was nothing! Since I have started going here, my husband now goes here and so do two of my friends. I will keep spreading the word as i know how hard it can be to find a good honest dentist. Not only that, you have a great view out the window when you are sitting in the dental chair and you can watch some beautiful birds fly by. Very calming and Zen like. A must! and yes you do get a goody bag :)

Warm, friendly environment and staff, located near downtown Laguna Beach. Expert care in a calm environment is a nice contrast to strip mall dental offices. I highly recommend!

Dr. Brisley is the best dentist in town, very honest! We know that the health of our teeth could affect the whole body health. We can only trust a few dentists. Even we moved miles away but we only trust Dr. Brisley to take care of our teeth. Leslie and staffs are very helpful and pleasant to deal with.

Mark Brisley is the BEST DENTIST EVER! I was sure I needed a crown put on, and I went to him and he told me I didn’t need one! I totally respect a dentist who doesn’t do more work than absolutely necessary! He is very gentle and honest!

Some come to Laguna to go to the beach; we (now former Lagunatics) come to go to the dentist! (and perhaps a walk on the nearby beach afterwards). Dr. Brisley is a great dentist and what we especially appreciate is that he only does what is necessary, rather than others that push all kinds of procedures on you to pay for their new fangled equipment. I have had some major work done (crowns) over the years by Dr. Brisley and all went very well, but typically all that is required is a cleaning. The staff is great too, especially Leslie at the front desk.

Both my husband and I really liked this office. We went here for 3 years and sadly moved out of the area and had to choose a new dentist. The staff here is great. They always run on time, have great upbeat personalities and do a great job at cleaning! Dr. Brisley also helped my husband in an emergency situation late one night on a weekend. Billing was always easy, parking is easy and it’s in a great location.

This guy is awesome, and honest! I take great care of my teeth, and was shocked when I was told I had 4 cavities at a previous dentist, who after letting them fill two of my teeth, I left out of a gut feeling that something was wrong. I came to Dr. Brisley convinced that I needed these two fillings and a cleaning. He told me that in fact I didn’t need any fillings, nor a cleaning. I was shocked, and reassured that there are some honest dentists out there. I scheduled a cleaning in 6 months, and was very pleased. I am happy that I now have a great dentist. Thanks Bris!

Dog walk led to a freakish face plant to the driveway. Dr. Brisley came in to his office after hours to attend. Quick painless treatment to repair chipped tooth. Thank you Brisley, and yes, I flossed today.

I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Brisley and his staff. I had to come in for frequent appointments for a two front crown replacements. He was extremely patient, a bit of a perfectionist (which I loved because my previous dentist was not and I ended up spending even more $$ to replace his shoddy work), and made appointments lighthearted and comfortable. He explained to me exactly what he was doing at every step and why. Getting appointment times was easy and convenient and the pricing was extremely affordable. Dr. Brisley is a corky guy with lots of experience and is skilled at his craft. Will definitely go back and recommend to others.

I never did have regular cleanings or took care of my teeth my whole life. Moving down here almost two years ago it was finally time to do something about my neglected mouth. Dr. Brisley has helped out so much. He has repaired so many of my teeth in the last two years. Filling after filling and a very good cleaning I can finally smile again. I gained a boost of confidence with what felt like a completely new smile.
He really is amazing at what he does. Dr. Brisley makes you feel so at ease and comfortable and when you’re in his chair, I guarantee you won’t stop laughing. I even had an extraction and never felt the tooth come out and there was barely any pain after wards. It was a huge baby tooth that even he showed off because he was able to extract it all in one piece! After all the work he has done I am finally in Braces.
If you really are looking for a great dentist, this is the place to be. Dr. Brisley is an honest man who will tell you what really needs to be done. His motto, «If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.» Emergency? No Problem, Leslie will try to accommodate and get you in the same day. She can answer all your questions over the phone. Both the hygienist are good at what they do best, Cleanings! I’ve never had any pain or bleeding after any visit.
Please don’t pass this place up! You may regret it later. Great prices and they even accept most insurances. Overall, I love going to the dentist more than any other office. Your oral hygiene is very important!

I selected this dentist based on these good reviews, but I’m puzzled. How can I review someone who didn’t even have the courtesy to introduce himself to me?
I brought my son there for a new patient exam and cleaning. After a 30-​minute wait, he went back. I waited in the waiting room, naturally. Another 30 – 45 minutes goes by and the hygienist comes out to say the dentist already saw him and do I have any concerns? Well, yeah, I’d like to actually meet the dentist I’ve just paid $ 75 to, even just for a minute. Instead, though, I am forced to have a conversation in the waiting room with no privacy. It was really odd.
So, for $ 120 cleaning, $ 75 exam, it seems like we got ripped off. We won’t be going back, which is why they only get one star. I’ll end on a pleasant note: Leslie at the front desk is very nice. You, I know, read these, and will know full well who I am.

I absolutely love Dr. Brisley and his staff! As a former dental lab employee, I have worked extensively in over 150 dental practices. Dr. Brisley is my choice for my personal dentist, and has been for several years now. I always feel like family when I come here, and I am certain I am receiving the best hygiene and dental care from this office.

So as a child finding myself in a dentist chair way more than any child should, I found myself neglecting my oral hygiene once it became my decision. Gross — I know. Trauma is a powerful thing.
My faith in the dental practice has been restored thanks to Dr. Brisley and his AMAZING team.
I had a hole — yes an actual hole as in a chunk of tooth missing from my molar and had no choice but to go get it filled. I picked Dr. Brisley from my insurance network and read some reviews and decided to take my chances.
Before that, my last oral visit involved extracting my wisdom teeth, not being numb enough, vomiting from the painkillers, and having a fat face for a week right around Christmas time 6 years ago. Not pretty and the thought still makes me cringe.
I shared my anxiety with Dr. Brisley and could not believe how easy he made the whole process. I had no idea I had even been shot with Novocain and before I knew it I was numb. Got filled, a week later got cleaned and here I am a year and a half later.
Got my 3^rd checkup and cleaning with them yesterday and couldn’t be happier with them. I moved from Laguna Beach back to Anaheim to be closer to my new job and still make the trek to Laguna every 6 months just to be taken care of. The staff is warm, friendly and genuinely care.

Without knowing much about dentistry, it’s difficult to know when someone’s taking you to the cleaners. I know, I’ve been there several times. I was fortunate, however, when some family friends recommended Dr. Mark Brisley.
Before Dr. Brisley, however, I went to one dentist office who told me I needed a crown when I had slightly chipped a tooth. After insurance, my bill was $ 1,500.
A few years later at another dentist office for a routine check up and cleaning, I was told that crown would need to be replaced as it was cracked. My options, I was told, were either to replace the crown now or have a root canal later. In addition, I was told I would need 2 — 3 other crowns in different areas. This seemed not only very expensive, but also very suspicious being that I take pretty god care of my teeth. I sought a second opinion by calling up Dr. Brisley.
As it turned out, I did not need any crowns — new or replaced. In fact, that «crown» wasn’t even a crown, but rather a porcelain inlay. And because the chip was so shallow, I would not have been in any need of a root canal at any time — even if the inlay fell off.
Dr. Brisley not only saved me from the possibility of being taken for a very expensive (and completely unnecessary) ride, but also explained the entire process to me and restored my faith in dentistry.
The office is a charming little cottage in Laguna Beach, just off of PCH. It’s cozy and unpretentious. The entire staff is warm and genuine. Every single member of the team is committed to doing whatever they can for the patient, and the pricing is very fair — even after insurance.
A short while ago, just before a regular cleaning, that porcelain inlay of mine finally broke off. Dr. Brisley was able to see me immediately to replace it with a better bonding (and more durable) material that completely blended in with the color of my tooth. And in preparation, he did a thorough check to make sure I was properly numbed in all the proper areas so I didn’t experience a bit of pain.
And the bill? After insurance, it was under $ 100.
