Never again!!!
If you’re looking for an amazing professional massage DO NOT go here. For something in laguna this is not what you would expect.
Granted, the staff was nice and friendly but you can tell they were not trained professionally. Everyone is in street clothes. The place was hot inside. The masseuse drenched me in oil an just squeezed my arms and legs a majority of the time.
At one point this lady climbed up on the table with me, basically straddled me mid massage to work on my back. NO JOKE.
A few other times she moved my arms so she could sit on the table while she worked too. She also proceeded to take her shoes off and get comfortable!
Mid massage she up and left w/​o saying anything which was weird but she had just gone to get a hot towel.
But what she did with this towel startled me… She spread it out over my back and just started slapping it. And she continued to slap the towel on my back as if it was relaxing. Obviously it wasn’t an this also had to do with the fact that the massage table was built out of some wood planks and sheets were thrown on it.
I wanted to leave early at this point but I didn’t to be polite. I ran out of there as fast as I could when it was over though…
Basically this place isn’t professional and neither are the massages. The people that work there are kind but the massage wasn’t worth a penny. I will never go back again and I suggest if your looking to get a massage you shouldnt either. It’s better to shell out a little more cash and go somewhere you can enjoy every minute.

Sorry but I need to be honest and this place just isn’t’ good.
Massage was decent, but OVERALL: THEY NEED TO BE MORE PROFESSIONAL.
Here’s why:
1) Appointment was for 5pm. Didn’t start till 5:35pm.
2) We had a couples massage and both masseuse had «inappropriate conversations» with each other while doing the massage.
— Example: 3 – 4 times they had sexual innuendos. Not cool.
3) Massage was decent, but it wasn’t systematic and harmonious as it should be.
— Example: One minute it was the back, next it was the hand, then back to the back and shoulders, then it was to the stomach, and back and forth…
NICE PEOPLE, BUT LACKING IN PROFESSIONALISM.

I tried this place out with a Living Social deal, of which I got TWO, so after my first massage there, a few months ago, was just «ok», I had to give it another shot. Let me just say, this 2^nd appointment was the WORST massage I’ve ever gotten. What a frigging JOKE! … A very heavy set girl came in wearing jeans and a t-​shirt (unprofessional), immediately began working on my back without asking me anything whatsoever about the type of massage I would like, or need, or any problem areas I might be having. She proceeded to talk during the ENTIRE hour … About her old job, her side job, her recent move, her soreness from walking, etc etc… GEEZ. The massage could have been good (technique and pressure) but she was ALL Over the Map! She started on my back and after only 10 minutes working the right side, she turned me over and went to the feet. Did the right foot, then left foot, then right again (?), then decided she would try some ridiculous chiropractic move to pop my ankle, which she was clearly not trained for, and it was very UN-​relaxing to be jerked down the table. I had to actually tell her, let’s just stick to massage, ok? … Then she worked my arms, right hand (not the left– HELLO??), left arm, back to the right arm. LOL. WTF is she doing? With a few minutes left she turned me over again and worked a bit more on my back and neck. Keeping in mind she is talking to me this whole time … Additionally, either she was too large or the room was too small, as every time she attempted to walk around the table, I had to hear her rear end scraping and sliding along the wall … UGH … Finally, she gave me her card and implied that she would like to have me call her for an appointment outside of the salon (which I’m pretty sure a salon frowns upon). She had mentioned earlier in detail about her private clients and her goal of doing out-​call as her own business… NO thank you! … I never for one moment got to relax or enjoy this massage. I don’t go to a spa to be talked to. I hope they hire some therapists with better professionalism. They should be able to read a clients’ mood and respect that this should be a time to unwind and de-​stress. VERY DISAPPOINTING AND I WILL NEVER BE GOING HERE AGAIN. — To the salon owner, save your «special coupon» apology and try hiring therapists who realize THEY are the reason your business will succeed or fail.

Solid 3 stars for my first impression of this place.
I had purchased a Living Social for Toscana Day Spa for a 60 minute massage for only $ 24. I scheduled my appointment for 6pm last Friday and I hurried over after work. I got there about 5 minutes before 6 and had time to fill out the quick form they have us fill out.
My first impression was the place was very Zen like and relaxing and I like that. The gentleman working the front was very nice and he appeared to be the owner. He didn’t take me back to my massage room til about 6:10pm and proceeded to tell me my massage therapist, Katherine, was running late and to just get undressed and wait for her under the covers. I felt very uncomfortable not meeting her before I changed, but since she was running late, I didn’t want to take longer away from my experience and obliged.
Katherine ended up not coming into my room until about 6:40 — 40 minutes AFTER my scheduled appointment. This was very frustrating to me and I was on the verge of walking out and rescheduling. I’m glad I didn’t have anything planned after wards or else I would have been really late. Katherine was a great massage therapist and did a great job on me, though. She made me very relaxed and made all my stress come out — she worked a lot on my shoulders where I keep most of my stress, which I like. My only gripe with her is that she left my room twice during my massage to get towels BOTH times. Shouldn’t she have done this beforehand?! I found this to very irritating since I could hear her leave and she was gone for about 2 – 3 minutes each time.
Overall, just an OK place. I hope that they work on their organization or else they may loose customers. I’m considering coming back to get a facial since they gave me a coupon for a facial and a 30 minute massage for $ 60. We’ll see, though. Depends if I feel like wasting 40+ minutes waiting around before my procedure starts if they’re running late. Cheers!

I am sad to see the other poor reviews. I had a great experience. I have been getting several massages lately as I am training for a marathon and as the miles get longer, I am trying to pamper myself.
I will start by saying, my initial review wouldn’t have given this a 4 star review. I did, show up 15 minutes early, only to be asked if I could come back an hour after my scheduled appointment because they gave my spot away to someone as they had several extra friends show up. However I said that I could not and that they should have called me if that was the case. The person I was speaking with was understanding and said they didn’t have my number so she did go speak with the person who took over my spot and asked them to return later as I was the one with the appointment. (I hated being that person to have them leave, but hey… I had the appointment and they were an extra friend hoping to slide in if there was room)
On to the massage. Once the massage started, I mentioned to the massage therapist that everyone like to do deep tissue on me since I tend to have a lot of knots however I would prefer just a relaxing massage. She was the first person who listened and did precisely that. She asked just a few times about the amount of pressure to make sure it was enough and not to much. I had an amazing massage and they didn’t leave a stone unturned. Got my calves, feet, arms, back and even finished with my ears. Sounds weird, I know but when you are relaxed it was a nice touch to have everything massaged.
If only, I had gotten my massage therapists name. I did get this deal on living social and luckily I bought 2. I will be going back…

I just had a 60 minute massage by Paul. He was very aware that I needed not only a deep tissue massage but he had to help me with 3 areas where I have significant pain. He did a very thorough job by combining techniques to relieve pain and open up my circulation to the affected areas. My neck feels a lot better already.
the only suggestions I have at this point are to put gratuity envelopes in each of the service rooms & figure out how to stop the massage table from creaking when pressure is applied.
If you need a massage to help work out «the kinks» your body has formed give the people at Toscana a try.

I decided to plan a Spa Day with my mother and Toscana Day Spa was a great choice. My mother and I were extremely satisfied with our massages. Paul did an AMAZING job, I will definitely go back to him and my mother was very very very happy with her therapist Catherine. Paul used the perfect pressure and relieved much stress, exactly what I needed! I asked Catherine to be a little softer with my mother as she is very sensitive and has a lot of pain. Awesome job as my mother felt she was 21 again. Thank you again to Paul and Catherine for this successful mother-​daughter Spa Day at Toscana Day Spa.

My massage therapist was Tina. What she lacks in professionalism is made up by her skill and technique! It was great that she complied with all my requests and listened to what I actually wanted and needed. I had combination massage therapy from pressure points to deep tissue, she was able to find the kinks, knots, and tightness from where I hold my stress. I highly recommend her if you require a massage that will give you relief and also relax you. She does not give you a routine massage… she does what you imply or tell her. Whether you’re an athlete or just need a soothing hour, she knows the key areas and how to accomplish what you want from the massage therapy.
The walls are thin which can be frustrating, Tina is very talkative and not dressed professionally, and the handwritten gratuity suggestion card are all very disconcerning, but this place is new and I’m confident or at least hope that this place will improve much sooner than later.
Great location, amazing prices, I’m keeping my fingers crossed that Tina, as the manager, will learn a bit more about the south o.c. population and be the standard we are use to when it comes to customer service and professionalism. I think she is very friendly, a bit silly and talkative, but I can understand why some people are taken aback by her choice of words, actions, and demeanor.
Not 5 stars only because of thin walls. I am definitely going back monthly for massage therapy from Tina.

I went in with my boyfriend for a couples massage and we both left very happy and satisfied with our massages. We both got deep tissue massages. My therapist asked me questions throughout the massage to insure that I was happy with what she was doing. She paid close attention to problem areas and my concerns. I would definitly go back to this spa for a massage. The price is resonable and the staff is friendly.

I’m on the computer all week and go cycling on the weekends so my shoulders get pretty tight. I had the deep tissue massage and was impressed with the results that I’ve gone back again. Reasonably priced, highly recommended.

I did the facial by the lady Jean, she is very professional. She makes me feel so relax while she is doing it. And the price is very reasonable. 5 stars massage & facial shop; definitely I will go back again.
