Elsen Hypnotherapy

WARNING — READ BEFORE YOU SEE PIETER. I have seen Pieter many times for generalized anxiety and life coaching, but I would see him for anything else he offers if I needed it. Pieter is here on Earth to help us; I know this for a fact like I know my own name. He has changed my life for the better in such a deep way it is hard to put it into words, and I am an excellent writer. I will continue to see him my entire life if he will have me. However, you must do 2 things if you decide to see him in order to get the full benefit of your encounters with him: 1) Totally Buy-​In and Believe everything he tells you (he is here to help and we all need it so just Believe 100%, it can’t hurt you), AND 2) Listen and Absorb everything he tells you and make corresponding changes to your Thinking and Actions. If you see him repeatedly and do these 2 things, I know your life will be better and your problems will become more manageable and less distracting to your happiness as a human being. Thank you Pieter. If you would like to give out my phone number to talk to potential clients, please go ahead. I want them to see you.

Pieter is just the best. I’ve been to a few other hypnotherapists before but nobody comes close to his knowledge, expertise and power to help me change. Awesome, highly recommended.

I became aware of Elsen hypnotherapy through groupon. I attended 4 sessions — 3 spiritual imagery, 1 past life regression and 1 life between lives. Wow each experience was powerful and Pieter knows his stuff! Each experience was life changing and the discussion we would have beforehand was very educational as well.

I would give 1 ½ stars. I purchased a deal for three sessions of hypnotherapy intended for my son. I will give my opinion of the initial meeting and the facts. Upon meeting him I introduced myself and my son, he did not reciprocate no «hello I’m Dr./Mr. Elson» or «call me Pieter». He spoke to my son and I for a bit. Then asked me to leave the room (understandable), I went to sit in a chair outside his office, he said no, that I must sit down the hall in the lobby. His office is a very small office in a suite of offices, we saw him after hours, at 6:00 pm, the office building was pretty cleared out.
I was not comfortable sitting down the hall with my son undergoing hypnotherapy in a room with a man I found on a «deal site». Prior to the second session (5 days early). I texted Elsen and said that I was not okay with sitting down the hall and that I would need to sit outside the office and that I needed to have an open rule understood by all that there was no touching between Elsen and my son. Elsen had patted and rubbed my son’s back and the end of the first session, obviously that is not wrong in and of it self but I prefer an open rule so there is no ambiguity.
His response was that he could not treat my son because of my lack of trust. Elsen’s demeanor is very straight forward and he has his set of rules that he will tell you. I thought the best way to communicate to him was that I needed the rules changed a bit. I told him and this is the truth, my comfort level is not a personal commentary on him. But it is my job to protect my son and I was not comfortable with the rules as is.
It is his choice to not treat my son, but I prefer a professional to respect or at least discuss my concerns.
I will add my son did enjoy the first session and found it very relaxing. So take my experience for what you will.
