Office follow up with the insurance company has been terrible (since they haven’t yet) and that has left us holding the bag for a HUGE lab bill.
Also — beware of office visit requests to get test results — their new patient forms ask for very specific authorizations to have lab results relayed over the phone, so why is the office visit needed? They insisted we review the results with Dr. Liao in office, we finally conceded assuming that it was a serious and complicated diagnosis, only to find out our daughter had a minor reaction to dust mites and that no further treatment was needed! Insurance abuse?
