Phil came out to paint our kitchen on short notice and they did an amazing quality job. They painted with rollers which is much better quality in terms of evenness and adhesiveness than painters that just spray and go. Mike, the painter, was extremely courteous and professional. His attention to detail is impressive and he really cares about doing the job right. We will definitely be using them again and referring them to everyone we know.

Having just moved into a new home, my husband and I dealt with many different contractors and I can’t say enough about Phil and his team. From day one, Phil was a true professional — always following through on his commitments and taking the time to meet with us on several occasions to ensure that we got exactly what we wanted. Not only did his team do fantastic, clean work, he personally spent many hours with us helping us choose the colors and finishes that would complete our vision. Plus, he’s just a fun, patient guy. On top of all of that he is priced very well for the quality of work you get. I don’t often post Unilocal reviews but finding an exceptional contractor is no easy feat and I want to spread the good word about Phil and Painting Pro. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

I found this company through Unilocal and we were not disappointed. The owner pays attention to every detail and leaves you understanding everything they will be doing for the job. His painters were nice and professional in all they did. We loved the results of the exterior paint job on our house. The owner was always making sure we were happy with everything.

I cannot say enough about this company. A one stop shop. Not only did they paint the interior of our home they did baseboards, crown molding, cabinets and hardware. It all looks phenomenal. Phillip the owner guided me through every detail of the process, including teaching me the basics of multiple coats, lighting effect etc. Any time I had a question or a need Phillip was at the house within the day. When it comes to customer service and end product, Painting Pro is the best. Philip was even so kind to do touch ups after the movers had scuffed the walls, free of charge. I’m a pretty detail oriented person, I never give five star reviews. This company is that good. I highly recommend them and wil luse again when needed. Not only does our house look like a million bucks, Painting Pro made us feel like a million bucks.

We have used Painting Pro twice now. Each time, Phillip gave very reasonable bids. He was very helpful in explaining different choices of paints and finishes. We had different crews paint our home in each instance, and they were all courteous, professional, and excellent painters. The work turned out great and were done in a timely manner.

Can I give 6 stars? Got a quote to paint about ¾s of the walls that were scuffed up so we can get condo ready for sale, this quote was great, much less cost than other painter quotes. So went with them, and they ended up doing all the walls, no extra charge! Friendly, professional, helpful and knowledgeable — Philip and crew will be our painters for life!

We used Painting Pro to pain our loft conversion, a guest bedroom, our hallways and some ceilings. From start to finish this was a great experience I will gladly recommend them to any of my friends, Phil came out at short notice in the evening and provided us with a written estimate on the spot. The communication with Phil, then with Brandon once the job started was very god and we were never in any doubt what was going on with the project or when things would be completed. The work was very high quality and they often asked me to check on the work and confirm it was what we were expecting.
Every day they ensured all floors etc were protected and left the house tidy each evening.
Today the job was finished it has turned out great.

I used Painting Pro to help me with over 3000 sq ft of painting for my house. I must say they did a great job. Their lead painter Braden is so chill and such a genuine person. I felt comfortable leaving him in the house alone when my mom and I went shopping. Whenever I pointed out something, they fixed it right away. The owner even pointed out flaws that I didn’t even notice and asked Brenden to repaint them. Overall, I had a great experience with this company and would definitely use them again and refer them to my neighbors and families!

We had Phil come out and do our kitchen cabinets, bathroom vanities, and stair banister. They also installed hardware on our kitchen cabinets. They did a great job! Phil was super knowledgable and easy to work with. We are very happy we worked with Painting Pro. We will add pictures when our home is finished.

Painting Pro was able to schedule an appointment to paint one wall in a bedroom for me very quickly. It came out beautiful!

Phil was a great help with my wife and I. We bought our home about a year ago and immediately asked Phil to paint our home for us. Phil was extremely knowledgable about how paint is affected in different lightings rooms and was really patient with us. We receive numerous compliments on our home’s paint job and we could not be more happy with the job Phil and his crew did. We will definitely be booking Phil for another job!

I hired Painting Pro to paint the interior of my condo. Based on the Unilocal rating, and the fact that the quote was nearly identical to another firm’s, I wasn’t particularly concerned about letting slip that I was putting my place up for sale. *That was a mistake*. When Philip brought his lead painter Jeff to go over the job, I heard him emphasize to Jeff that this was a «moving» job. Though I was a bit concerned over the remark, I trusted the Unilocal reviews and was in a hurry to move. Everyone on the job was very personable. Philip and I had agreed on a one-​coat-​covers, water-​based paint by Behr. When the job began, I heard Jeff mention priming to his co-​worker, and I didn’t hang over the men as they worked.
When they finished, everything seemed fine at first, but had to call them back twice to take care of areas that had been missed and others where wall paint had splashed onto trim. I’d also noticed a shade pulley had been left open, and attempted to close it. It wouldn’t, affecting the operation of the blind. It was then I saw that the chain had been replaced backwards, and that the situation would require a repairman. Next I noticed chipping, scraping away, and peeling of the wall paint in a room I use daily. Then I realized a door lock was incorrectly installed by the painter’s helper Aaron, and when attempt to fix it failed, I knew another repair person would need to be contacted. I could go on.
At this point, I’d run out of time to deal with Painting Pro further, and had everything done myself. It was the lock installer who pointed out that the painter who’d done the door «did a lousy job» and when I asked why, he said they’d put water-​based paint over oil-​based, pointing out the peeling paint in the area of the lock. I knew that while one-​coat paint covers many things, it would still not work if it’s water-​based placed on oil-​based paint.
Unilocal can’t be all about good. It’s also to warn people, and that’s what’s making me take the time to write this. Would Phil and crew do this to you? They did to me.

Job finished, couldn’t be happier. Phillip came by for a walk through with me to make sure I am satisfied. Awesome work by him and Brandon. Will definitely use again and highly recommend to anyone!!!

My wife and I recently purchased a new home in Aliso Viejo. We decided to paint all throughout, install new baseboards, etc. I reached out to a handful of painters and Phillip came out to give me a quote. He was the obvious choice… he was extremely thorough in explaining the process, gave me some recommendations, his pricing was fair, and overall he made me feel very comfortable with the whole thing. I was lucky to have Chris and Brandon on the job… both of those guys went the extra mile and took great care of our new home without us around (even going as far to take out and put away our trash cans, lock up each night, etc). The quality of the work was exceptional, and they even finished a few days ahead of schedule. If you have recently purchased a home and you want it to look and feel brand new, with your personal touch, make sure to paint and definitely make sure to hire Painting Pro.

Phil is amazing! They did an excellent job, the quote was not high. He and his team really took the time to paint our home well. They paid attention to detail, which I love. He and his team are very neat clean and polite. If you want someone to do the job right I really do recommend Phil and his team. You wont be sorry. We recently re-​modeled our kitchen and needed to repaint our living/​dining room to coordinate. Since we were painting anyway, we also decided to paint several other rooms throughout the house. After interviewing several painters, we selected Phillip because he seemed to genuinely care about the details and the price was competitive.
Though there were some hiccups with my choice in paint color, Phillip and his awesome crew came through with flying colors. We are super pleased and our interior looks so fresh and clean. Phillip runs a small business – not typical paint contractor with a different painter sent to your house each day. We knew who was coming to our house each day, and they were very trustworthy.
If you are looking for a detail oriented, patient and friendly painters, Phillip and his crew are at the top of the list. Highly recommend. They do take their time though, so don’t expect them to be in and out super fast.

These painters did an excellent thorough and detailed job. My husband and I are pleased with the results and highly recommend Phil and his guys. At our final walk through, Phil even helped us put some wall hanging back up. It was a pleasure working with this team, especially for the price we paid.

Philip was extremely detail oriented, and we discussed every facet of the job before they began. We differed on our expectation of how long it would take; I thought 4 – 5 days, it ended up being 2 ½ weeks. His crew was very courteous and clean, and cared about what was important to us.
After the job I found some issues, though — over-​spray on some windows, and window planters that had not been painted on the inside. I hesitate to call them back because of the time commitment.
Quality, detailed work at a reasonable price. Just be ready for a time commitment.
