The Home Depot

Living right by two Home Depots is great, especially if I am looking for several of one item or checking out their clearance sections.
Service is great, not too busy, clean, well stocked and fair prices.
I find myself here a few times a week being the owner of an older home and always find what I need here.

I frequent this home depot regularly and everyone seems to be happy and cheerful. One day i went in to get copper wire and the gentleman could not figure out how to turn the conveyer belt after he tried many times i stated id be back. I browsed in the nursery and left, he ran out, chased me down and told me he figured out how to do it, and he gave it to me for free. Never –the-​less I do appreciate him doing that and its very rare now days.

This review is more for the lack of standing behind products purchased at Home Depot. Unfortunately, I purchase a washer and dryer from Home Depot and their extended warranty department pulled a fast one, which I did not totally understand the ramifications of.
The Washer went out within 18 months of purchasing the unit. They replaced it after having me pay $ 1,100 for an upgrade or who knows what but then did not transfer the warranty to the new washer een though they could have repaired the old washer and opted to replace it thereby getting out of the warranty for future repairs. Pretty sneaky. I’ve had other issues buying products from Home Depots but apparently I must be crazy if I keep going back.
We buy lots from them and they still don’t back up their products. I wish they would be more like Nordstrom that will take anything back and the customer is always right… but not here.
If you can buy appliances elsewhere, I would recommend you do so… even at a slightly higher price.

This is my favorite HD. I like most of the employees here since I’ve never had bad service. Home Depot itself should upgrade all of its stores to The look Lowes has inside and out. Otherwise you feel like shopping at a cheap warehouse.

Worst Home Depot I have been to. Where do I start? From the horrible management (notably the assistants) to the rude employees who have obviously worked here 10 too many years, this one Home Depot makes the whole company look bad in general.

I’m a long time HD shopper at a variety of their locations – this one is at the Top of my list. Great service, staff that actually knows what it is, how it works and what you need to fix it! Joe in paints is a master at matching colors for you, even small amounts and gets it done quickly.
Garden staff always is willing to assist you, offer help to you vehicle and wrap up those wet plants. Check out is easy, lots of open registers and the checkers are friendly!

Unlike other big box home improvement stores (cough…Lowes) this one actually has knowledgable, nice people that care about helping you. David Welch in particular is the Assistant Manager that always goes above and beyond to help customers. With David’s professionalism and attention to customers needs, I hope he is elevated to store manager soon, because that’s where his skill sets would be best utilized. It’s nice not only to get things you need at a low price, but to have people recognize and appreciate you. Thank you Home Depot Laguna Woods.

What a joy to walk around this store. The first time I was here I could not believe it. So this time when visiting the in-​laws, we came with a Home Depot list. NO out of work people milling about the parking lot, no crowds, no difficult parking. Wonderful!
We were outnumbered by employees about 2:1 ratio.
Strolling down wide open empty aisles, getting ideas, asking for input. This is the best home depot ever!

Nursery section is neat and plants are well maintained. Plenty of items on sale. Staffs are helpful and available to help you with any queries.

Worst customer service in the seven kingdoms. If you’re self sufficient and need little assistance at all, perfect location to practice your independence. No one was on the floor — more concerned with front of store — congregating in large group doing absolutely nothing. I thoroughly enjoyed waddling through the store seeking out Matt, a tall young fellow who disappeared once he realized he needed further assistance from another employee on a basic plumbing question. Thanks Matt for doing your job. Please send new management to this location and retrain these employees. I know far harder working folks that would love to have their jobs.

I love this location, it’s close to my house and the staff is always very helpful and knowledgeable and friendly. Keep up the good work Home Depot Laguna Hills!

I commend the excellent concern, attention and support we received from Belinda from the Custom Order Specialist Department when our custom Levelor Blinds delivered and installed at my Mom’s Laguna Woods Village manor proved to be defective. Belinda and others in the department were outstanding from beginning to the final solution of the problem, helping us to achieve a good solution in every way possible. They are simply the very best. Happy to do business with this Home Depot.

I am big Home Depot fan in general but this location in particular has staff strategically placed at the head of aisles to ask if you need help finding stuff. And they have everything! Easy to return items here too

I’ve gone into this location several times, and the customer service is awful. They always seemed busy or hurried, most can’t really help. They have a few shining stars in there… Dave the store Manager is awesome! The older ladies rock in this store, they are knowledgeable in all departments, and will go out of their way to help you if they don’t know. Look for Jani and Sherry. Sherry took my list that the contractor gave me, and we whizzed through the store. She knew where everything was, I was done in a pinch. Mary the cashier is so friendly and sweet! Sam is the go to in the garden. He’s pretty knowledgeable, and will go out of his way to help.

I used to really hate Home Depot because of one I used to go to in a different city but this one really made me change my mind. The personnel here have always been very nice and helpful every time I have been there. The only times it’s been slow with service is at the paint counter when there had only been one person working it but besides that they are great.

Don’t get windows from them, specially Anderson’s !!! They only want to get your money and make a sale!!! If you are a first time buyer make sure ask all the questions, because the sales person assumes you should know everything!!! Very disappointed with them.

I’ve been here on multiple occasions looking for certain materials for my little backyard garden project. It really does seem to take a lot of effort to find help and some of my questions answered on certain items. Maybe not enough staff but it always seems no one ever knows and has to go and get someone. Usually that wouldn’t be an issue for me except for the fact that sometimes they never come back and I have to go and track someone down myself?
I preferably like going to the other home depot for all my home improvement needs as they are better staffed and better organized imo.

By far the worst Home Depot I have ever been to. Walmart level customer service… Terrible. I will never set foot in this Home Depot, because the lack of help and ghost town atmosphere. If this were the only place to get home improvement products I would just use Amazon.
It seems like it is a employee social time and forget it is work. Management needs to get a grip of their staff.
