Established in 1985.

Brady’s Automotive is a family run business which opened here in Laguna Niguel in July of 1985.

Our mission is to perform your automotive needs to the best of our abilities, by maintaining a high level of personal care with quality and experience to match. Our goals are to repair your vehicle right the first time and ensure it’s safety and integrity for you and your family.

Business Owner

Kevin Brady is the owner and operator of Brady’s Automotive. Kevin began performing car repairs in 1970. He has been a professional mechanic since 1977. He is very knowledgeable and experienced in repairing vehicles and operates a very clean and well organized repair shop.

Kevin has been married for 30 years to his wife, Vivian, who also works at the shop.

Kevin is very community oriented and has served on the Board of Directors for the Laguna Niguel Girls Softball Association, AYSO and currently for the Laguna Niguel Youth Soccer Organization.

Kevin is not only a great mechanic but an honest person. His prices always beat the dealerships. He also takes the time to discuss what’s needed, what can wait, and any other options. He never pressures me but is honest if it’s not safe. We bring all of our cars here. He even helped me work through a warranty issue resulting in no income to him. I completely trust him and know our cars are taken care of, especially the car my teenage son drives. Cannot recommend this shop enough!

Brand new to Laguna Niguel. Female. Needed help with Fuses/​electrical? Went to the
website, picked Brady’s Automotive and they did not disappoint! Not only did they find and fix the issue, a fuse, but they said the issue was related to a failure of another component. Because they said they couldn’t get it to fail again, I should see how it goes and gave me an extremely favorable quote if it did and I had to return later. I asked for the nearest library so I could print a couple documents I needed for a meeting and they said «use our printer»! Wow, car repair AND office services! I won’t ever try anywhere else. Why would I?

Kevin has saved me 1000’s of dollars over the last 20 years.
He is truly the only honest and talented automotive professional I have known. Unbelievable man with honor and pride.
On many occasions I expected a large bill for one of my vehicles, and he has told me good news and the bill was less than 100 bucks. Once my gas cap was not tight, and I was convinced it was something big. He tightened it and told me to have a nice day.
He will always be the man for all my auto needs, and the only guy I refer business to.

A HUGE thank you first off to Aaron and Kevin today! After TRYING some amateur work on my car it sprung a leak in one of the hoses. Leaving for a trip and vacation tomorrow and needed the work done. These guys accommodated me same day and were able to resolve everything to get me off and running for my trip. Kevin and Aaron made it happen and have gotten a life long customer out of me.

Super friendly staff and owner. Very professional and able to come in under bid. Best thing to hear from a doctor or mechanic, is don’t know but I’ll find out. These guys are about as good as going to the mechanic can be.

I went to Brady’s after shopping a couple of other local repair shops. For the same work, they charged me less than half the other quotes. In addition, I asked them to take a look at other maintenance items. Aaron looked and showed me where a couple of my belts were cracking. A simple and inexpensive fix.
When I picked up the car, Aaron had looked over a few other areas explaining that there was no further work needed right now, but pointed out a couple of other things that will need regular maintenance attention in the future such as breaks (50% left on the front and 80% left on the rear), timing belt (in another 10 to 15K miles), etc.. All of it was reasonable, clearly explained and shown to me. He even took pictures of of the work he performed on his phone and showed me everything.
It is refreshing to find an honest and reasonable mechanic after taking a bit of a bath at another auto repair shop in Aliso Viejo on Aliso Creek road. I will definitely return to Brady’s and recommend others to them whenever possible.

Finding a good auto mechanic is important. When my ’91 Mazda Miata began starting sluggishly, even after replacing the battery, I investigated local mechanics. This shop had a uniform 5* rating. After taking my car there, I concur with the rating. You will receive prompt, knowledgeable and fair service. I will take my 2 cars there in the future without hesitation.

I’m so happy we got referred to Brady’s by a friend. I’d been dealing with another place a few towns away with a power failure issue on my Mercedes. I’d been towed already 3 times when I brought it to him. He figured out the issue on the first visit… Oh and fixed my key that i thought was completely dead too (which even the dealership hadn’t bothered to fix).
Also, even though its not his specialty, he’s been taking care of my boyfriend’s Saturn too. Today, after making an appointment for breaks based on an un– named «lube» location’s assessment… Mr. Brady informs him he has over 70% left on front & back pads and doesn’t need the breaks done. Talk about honesty. I had my breaks done not long ago by him, and the price was the same as the «cheap» place I’d been going… He’s excellent, fair and trust worthy… Everything you hope to find in a mechanic.

Kevin Brady is the real deal… He treats his customers with respect and honesty. After Capistrano Volkswagon tried to extort $ 900 for a $ 600 job from me… Kevin cleaned the intake manifolds and solved our problems for only 130 buks… We’ve had several cars worked on here and he always goes the conservative route first… And more often than not, it does the trick…

Quite easily the most honest and informative repair shop I’ve ever had. They don’t have the lowest prices in town, but they always give you a detailed diagnosis of the problem and then give you the results when you pick the car up. They also give you warning about potential issues you may find in the next X thousand miles. As a bonus, they are also a warranty service shop for Hyundai, which keeps my Santa Fe under warranty. As a side note, the Hyundai service shop at the dealership down the street is a 1 star. That place is horrible!

No. 1 — Honest and no. 2 — Great at diagnosing problems. I’ve been going to Brady’s for about 5 years and, over time, with 3 different cars. Taking another one in tomorrow. If I could give Brady’s 10 stars I would! I heard about Brady’s from a friend on the Metrolink train. Being a single female, I can’t tell you the number of times I’ve taken my cars to mechanics and end up with a laundry list of what needs to be done. Brady’s is the only place I’ve been to where Kevin will even call to ensure a recall hasn’t been made on a part before replacing it. He’s told me what to expect a couple of times and about how long I can drive before I’ll have to get it fixed and, sure enough, he’s been right. I’ve referred friends to Brady’s and have never seen any advertising so I figure their business is all word of mouth.

My wife’s car wouldn’t pass smog. I took the car to the dealer and they gave me a long list of repairs in order to correct. The estimate was over $ 600, took the car to another repair shop and again the list was extensive and totaled $ 400. Finding Brady’s on Unilocal and seeing all the great reviews we took the car to them. Unbelievable how the staff patientiy took the extra time to get the car to pass smog, and did it at a FRACTION:) of the cost. Thanks so much, going to take all my cars here from now on and refer to all my friends and fam. Integrity at its finest!

I love this place. Honest, reliable and speedy. The waiting room has WiFi and coffee too while you wait. If you get weirded out by bringing you car in out of fear of lies and ‘things you need’, you definitely do not need to worry about that here!

I am new to the area and I had no idea where to go to get my brakes fixed, so Unilocal helped me pick Brady’s Auto. I called first and they had no appointment, but 10 minutes later they called me back and said they had a cancellation. Perfect. I met the owner Kevin who was very professional and honest. He gave me options for my truck and did not try to sell me anything I did not need.
They have a great little wating area where you can sit and actually get work done, with free WI-​FI. If you have to get a large reapir done and can not get a ride home this is where you want to sit and be productive.
Great place, great service I am bringing my Jeep in next.
