Caterer for designer Cake Pops, Pie Pops, Mini Pies and Tea Cakes. We specialize in parties, weddings or any special occasion! We don’t have a physical storefront so all desserts are made fresh to order. We take and encourage pre-​orders!

History

Established in 2010.

Cakewalk Desserts was formed in 2010 as the trend for mini desserts continued to take over. While we didnt invent the pie pop, we were the first to offer them for purchase and include our adorable peekaboo designs! We put Pie Pops on the map for dessert buffets, wedding favors and unique centerpieces.

We make each pop by hand and try our very best to customize them to your needs however we can. We know each order is special so we put our very heart and soul into each little detail. Please keep in mind that some months are busier than others and we are a small shop, so we encourage pre-​orders and booking with us at least 3 weeks in advance (more during summer and fall). Former Interior Designer, Andrea has brought her design eye to her mini baked goods. She loves to travel, and has lived in various parts of the US. She graduated from Texas Tech University in 2007 and currently lives in Southern California (Orange County) with her husband and two sons.

While planning my daughter’s farm-​themed first birthday party, I came across Cakewalk’s web site and loved how gorgeous and professional everything looked. Ordering was so easy and Andrea was incredibly responsive, and I was able to pick up the order from her directly to save shipping fees (yay for living practically next door to this talented woman!). All of the pie pops looked gorgeous and were so intricately done — you can tell each one is a labor of love. And frankly, I was so concerned with how they would add to our dessert table décor that taste was sort of secondary, but WOW, were these things delicious. I ordered blackberry, cherry and pumpkin, and the crust on each was so melt-​in-​my-​mouth good. People were texting me after leaving the party just to rave about how yummy the pie pops were! Definitely look into Cakewalk’s products for your next party — your guests will be SO impressed.

I was planning my husband’s 40th birthday party and wanted to surprise him with something fun. I found a picture of pie pops on Pinterest and started doing some research for local companies.
My first round of searches didn’t turn up much, and I thought I had hit a dead end. A couple weeks before the event I decided to try one more time, and it was fate because I found Andrea. She was incredible to work with, responded really quickly and was very accommodating in choosing flavors and a design for my husband.
The pops were larger than I expected and looked great in the display holder I made for them. Honestly, that would’ve been enough to make me happy — but they were so delicious and such a hit that I will never stop raving.

I had Cakewalk make pie pops for a baby shower I was throwing. First off, her website was amazing. Clean, precise, and beautiful. And on top of that, she did not disappoint. She is incredible. I ordered 30 apple and 30 classic blackberry. I was contacted promptly, placed my order, and paid. They were shipped to me very quickly. To my surprise, none were broken! They were gorgeous.
They Tasted Like heaven. I would have eaten all of them but unfortunately I had to share. I want to try the other flavors. (Chocolate, Pumpkin, Coconut) the possibilities are endless!!! I can’t wait to order again. I would highly highly recommend Cake Walk Desserts.

I contacted Cakewalk about 6 weeks prior to my daughter’s 5th party. Andrea was so helpful with favors, combinations, amounts, coordination and the presentation. The desserts were amazing!!! Also, there was not a single pop left! We could not have been happier and will absolutely use them again.

Customer service terrible! I called and emailed and no reponse. You would think they would give a courtesy call/​emai. They are too busy and dont want new clients or business non –existing.
