I recently was in need of a plumber for my sink/​garbage disposal clog. My regular plumber had not returned my call from 3 days earlier so I sought out Mark with Efficient Plumbing. He got back to me within minutes & had an opening that same afternoon. His workman, Chris, was prompt, professional, personable & competent & ended fixing an additional problem I had with my dishwasher valve. I work in the construction field & have for 25 yrs., & I know how rare it is to find all these wonderful qualities in one individual & company. I would highly recommend Efficient Plumbing, Mark & Chris were great & I am beyond satisfied!

After buying a house, or in this case, OUR house, every and ANY place, we all have small projects to do. It could be electrical, it could interior, but one of those would be our cleaning portion of our lives. Come on, we need to wash our dirty sheets and get ready for another day in paradise. During our home inspection, it was noted that we should fix a washer connection in the laundry room. With so many plumbers to choose from, we needed one who could be out there. We found someone speedy and EFFICIENT. Let’s take a quick view of Efficient Plumbing in Orange County.
After searching through Unilocal,we saw a picture of a guy and his wrench. A plumber without a wrench is something to be wary of. I went to his business website and e-​mailed him about our situation. Within the same day, he responded back with a straight and no fuss answer right away. He said he was available to do the work and would be there on Saturday at 2 pm. Well, Done Deal and BOOKED! When Saturday came along, we had another contractor doing some work, but then Mark texted me saying he can come earlier. For sure, if he can be done with one job, he can be at mine right now.
He came in at 1 pm and quickly introduced himself. No small talk and straight to the job. I showed him the laundry room and the rusted Washer Connections or BIBS. He said it was pretty simple. He walked outside and shutoff the water. I helped a little by opening the water faucets in the bathroom and kitchen to make sure we don’t have any leftover water in the pipes. Basically, relieving the pressure on the pipes. Within seconds, he grabbed his tools from his van and got to work.
I didn’t want to be bothering him while he worked. In under 30 minutes, probably even 20 minutes, he was done. He turned on the water and all the faucets were properly flowing. He was earlier than expected, he got the job done, and he was quick and simple. All I did was text him pictures and an address. Even before he left, we had a problem with a lock that we couldn’t open. A key padlock. I asked him to open one since the previous owner lost his key. Mark said that Plumbers have the most tools of all trades. I guess so if he can cut through a padlock with ease.
Efficient Plumbing is a mobile service and a ONE man shop. Its not about the size of a company, but how one man does a job. I would call/​text Mark in an instant if we have a project that calls for some improvement. I look forward to getting someone in and getting out. I contacted Mark on a Friday late morning, within a couple of hours he was at my house had the problem fixed in a matter of minutes, was fair, reasonable and very nice to work with. I had hired several other people prior to calling Mark, and no one else could fix the problem. I happen to be on the phone when he arrived, he came in went straight to the problem and had it fixed before I ended my 10 minute call. The search is over I never have to look for a plumber again, I will be calling Efficient if I need anything! Thank you Mark for the quick and fair work!

We recently purchased a home in South Orange County. When we had our home inspection completed, they discovered that our washer connections/​bib were corroded. A recommendation was made to replace them because it was likely that they’d break or leak. Therefore, we searched for a plumber that had a solid reputation to get the job done.
We found Mark via Unilocal and felt confident in our choice due to his five star ratings. So my fiancé emailed Mark and described what we needed done. He said that he would replace the connections/​bibs for $ 150. The price seemed perfect so we made an appointment for Saturday at 2:00.
Mark contacted us and told us that he was ahead of schedule and wanted to know if it was ok if he stopped by around 1:00. That worked out perfectly for us since we had a lot going on that day! He showed up and was super professional and personable. Within 30 minutes, we had brand new hardware and now we can install a new washer and dryer. We were totally satisfied with the quality of his work!
It’s a one man show as Mark works independently. He takes his payments in the form of cash or check. He’s very efficient and lives up to his five star ratings.

Mark is a great plumber and very friendly. He fixed my clogged kitchen sink in no time. He charged me for a reasonable price almost $ 100 cheaper than home advisor.

After being unable to obtain a referral for a good plumber from friends and family, I contacted Mark at Efficient Plumbing due to the high reviews on Unilocal.He was very responsive and quickly set up an appointment to have Chris come to our home and take care of a few plumbing issues that we had. Chris was very personable, as well as capable and he did a great job for us! Efficient is now in my contacts list and I will absolutely call them for any future plumbing needs. I highly recommend them to anyone who needs a good plumber, they truly earned all 5 of the available stars.

I had another plumbing issue and Mark was out within 24 hours. He fixed the problem and also advised us regarding a separate matter (dishwasher is broken). I feel blessed that we have found such a great plumber, that is ethical, prompt and courteous. Thanks again to Efficient Plumbing!

I was very impressed with the service I received from Efficient Plumbing. Chris showed up for my appointment right on time and had the clog in my bathroom sink and bathtub cleared in less than an hour. The price was great too. I definitely recommend Efficient Plumbing and would use them again in the future. There is a reason they have a good Unilocal rating!

Similar to others’ posts, Mark is very friendly, «efficient» and was on time as he said and was accommodating in seeking out the right parts for my toilet tank. I’d purchased the wrong items and he found the right parts nearby and went to retrieve them and I thought that was pretty cool. I’d definitely seek him out again and refer him to friends and neighbors. The reviews are real.

We were very happy that finally got the great Plummer in neighborhood. Mark is always quick to answer our requests! Christopher came to help our kitchen sink clogging! He did great job and fast. We had another Plummer did the job a year ago… But not as good as them. Yes they are efficient and we highly recommend to anyone be who needs plumbing job.

I got tired of our old builder’s toilet on the first floor getting clogged from time to time so decide to upgrade to a Toto. Contacted Mark by text and he suggested a Toto Eco Drake. Scheduled the appointment, Mark came out and installed it in record time, using a dropcloth and wet/​dry vac to ensure no debris of any sort was left behind. I’m super happy with the new toilet (Toto makes the best in the business) and as luck would have it, our kitchen sink faucet developed a leak the day after, so I contacted Mark again and this time Chris came out, super courteous and professional, and installed the Costco faucet I bought, also to my complete satisfaction. Would definitely use these guys again — and I did just that!

Thought we had a pinhole leak in our wall. Not knowing any reputable people, I did a Unilocal search for local plumbers and found «Efficient plumbing». The site had a lot of 5 star reviews so I figured it was worth a shot. I called Mark, explained the situation and arranged for him to come the next day. He showed up on time (!!), found the problem, (it WAS a pinhole leak) removed the bad pipe, soldered in a new piece of pipe and was done in less than 30 minutes! And even better, his charges were very reasonable. All in all I was very pleased with his service and he is my plumber of choice from now on.

I emailed Efficient Plumbing on Sunday afternoon regarding a couple of jobs I needed done at my residence. I knew they were closed until Monday but Mark responded that evening laying out the costs based on my description of the problems. We texted each other Monday morning to set an appointment which was made for Tuesday. Chris arrived on time and quickly went to work replacing my garbage disposal, snaking the drain, and finally adjusted the drain pipe to add more angle which would help in preventing future clogs. The cost was accurate to Marks earlier estimate and it was all wrapped up in 45 minutes. Great job by all!

Mark replaced a toilet bowl at our home. Came in, completed the work & left without leaving any sign of damage/​dust. That’s something we liked a lot! Comparable pricing. Communication was mostly through SMS, with fast responses. Will definitely recommend!

Called to have a leaky shower valve fixed. Told Mark it wasn’t an emergency but he asked me how bad it was leaking. When I told him the how fast it was dripping, he offered to come out within an hour. He showed up on time, and had the parts required to repair the valve, no replacement required. The job was done quickly, no fuss. Mark was personable and professional. Cost wasn’t bad and payment was easy with a credit card. I’d happily call him again if I had a plumbing job I needed done. Called and setup a time for them to come out. They show up on time and did the work plus more. Also they followed up with me to make sure all was good. I would rate then a 10 if I could.
