Seems that saris Regis is hiding behind false advertising giving information not true. this complex is not luxury living rather low income housing for section eight recipients. there r dirty vents and bad air circulation causing many residents to relocate. this is my experience. I was so il that I would have to make a run to the harbor to get oxygen about two pm everyday the entire seven years I lived there. my cousin mentioned she didn’t feel well in my apt. two other former residents moved for same reason. we felt lethargic n allergic reactions to something circulating in the air ducts. if u want the life sucked out of u than move here. u will pay premium rent and feel ill and add cost of doctors. this is three residents experiences all of whom moved on and feel fine in their new apt homes. no bs just the facts

My husband and I read the reviews before we moved here. We came to see the property was nothing like the reviews. Sometimes when things do not go a persons way they say things that are untrue. We moved in during the summer when fleas, snakes and other canyon critters should be out, haven’t seen none. I have two small dogs they contracted fleas this summer but every dog in Orange County had fleas bad flea season. However one of the tenants Sandy had the vet to come and talk to us on how to care for that. There’s a lot to do here they have a round table discussion called the Talk which is refreshing. Kimberly is the Property manager who has her hands full God Bless her. She has excellent staff Sarah which is bubbly and always has a smile on her face and you know that goes a long way. Brianna is always there to assist you whenever you go there. Fernando and David or the bomb so helpful and grateful. I can’t say enough about those two. They took people to The Price Is Right you know you have to have patience of Job for that. Overall so far 2015 has gone well for me at Fountain Glenn. Come join us trust me you will have a blast with the tenants and management.

My husband and I have just renewed out lease on our apartment. We’ve have been here for now three years, and we are very happy with the management. I wanted to give a shout out to Kimberly, our new Resident Manager. She is the kindest, most patient and efficent manager I have met yet. We also have Sara, and Brianna both great ladies, both as nice as can be. The upkeep on the grounds is excellent due to Fernando and David. There are many things to do here every month, from body wellness classes, aqua aerobics classes(weather permitting) Monthly Birthday cake and welcome new residents parties, dominoes, Holiday celebrations,(Full catered Thanksgiving Meal for residents this year). Trips to local shopping malls bi-monthly. Some bigger trips to various tourist type attractions. This year we have gone to Art Walks and the Sawdust Festival in Laguna Beach, Dana Point Whale Festivals, Winery Tours to Temecula, Outlet Malls in Carlsbad, Fashion Island in Newport Beach, etc. Card and other type games(Bingo) galore listed each week. Coffee and Doughnuts every Saturday. Anyhow, you get the idea. We have Ping-Pong and Pool tables, two gyms, two large party rooms with full kitchens available to rent for any large gatherings. Craft room, cable TV lounges, a computer area, reading library, laundry rooms, or if you prefer, hook-ups in your unit. Swimming pool and two jaccuzzis, bar-b-ques, nature trails, and monthly newsletters. The last two years here have seen the new apartments made available with massive upgrades. I believe the building and common areas are now NONSMOKING. Although there are a few who smoke in their apartments the smoke smell my be evident in the hallway. They do everything they can to help you. We are also gettting a new Community Area in Building A. Maintenance is excellent here also if you have any issues. Fernando, or David will come within 24 hours. The common area has always been well kept and always clean. Our building has new paint, new resurfaced driveways. Hallways vaccumed weekly, shampooed monthly. We always take advantage of the free carpet shampoo for our apartment every year. This place is near the bus line, next to a large shopping center. Pet Friendly. Pest control(comes with the territory, as we we live next to a hiking trail and a large canyon) is here weekly. I have not had any issues, although there are snake sightings in the summer, they warn you to be on the alert. Nice residents. Downside? Well, rents here, as everyone knows in South Orange County are going up and up, sadly. FountainGlen is no exception. It is not cheap, but it is the lowest priced over 55 community in Laguna Niguel with all the amenities that you get here. What I especially appreciate as a handicapped senior, I feel physically safe here. It’s made us happy, deserves it’s five stars.

Lived there for a while and got rent up charges every year with no amenity changes to my apartment. Apartments are small for the cost and very little storage and patio space. Most of the apartments are very dated looking with old cabinetry and flooring. Not enough covered parking, equipment in exercise room not maintained, and pool is no longer heated. Community room furniture and tvs are dated as well. The entire place has been left in a time 10 – 15 years ago. I strongly advise you look at other apartments and forget this place. The GM here is all about the company rules and not about taking care of his residents it seems.

FOUNTAINGLENISAMAZING! My mother has been here for 1year and couldn’t be happier. She lived in another state and was looking to buy a house so she could be closer to us. Her apartment here started as temporary housing while she searched. Well, the search is over. She’s staying here! The units are bigger than most of the condos she saw and with no association or CRR’s. Her place is so bright and airy that she keeps the windows and patio door open(unless, of course, she’s cold) which tells me it must be quiet and that she feels safe because those are two of her biggest pet peeves. The management and staff are polite and accommodating to her every whim(which I’m sure are many!) Her few maintenance requests were handled within the hour. THEHOUR! I can’t even say that about my husband. After reading the bad reviews, I was thinking I was on the wrong«place» because my mom and I have never witnessed any of these issues. Coyotes and snakes? Could they be from the big, open«green belt» view we’re all enjoying? Perhaps screaming kids and loud motorcycles are more to your liking. Rats and roaches? Clean your house. They«allow» smoking? No. They«allow» adults to do what they want. Perhaps a nice chat with your neighbor would have sufficed. Seniors«stuck» here? It’s not a retirement home, it’s a 55+ apartment complex! YOU left, so who’s stuck? Anyway… sorry about that tangent… In short and to sum up, this place is fantastic and I can’t wait until I’m 55!

This place has coyote’s snakes, rats, roaches and thats just the new management. incremental cost add-ons should scare seniors on a budget. If you have pets read the above statement, coyote, snakes, rats, roaches and ticks. Weak GM and a buildings full of bursting pipes. The only saving grace is a working staff that is competent.
