DETOX your house using our patented Zerorez alkaline water process or hardwood HepaBuff to renew your hardwood floors. We use our patented, residue-​free cleaning process to clean all flooring, counter, and upholstery surfaces.

Our cleaning solution is so pure, the techs will drink it! Safe for kids, pets, and people with chemical sensitivities, allergies, asthma, etc.

We provide both residential and commercial cleaning

We want to make you happy with our work and service! We know how frustrating it can be dealing with home service companies and we do our best to change that. We offer Carpet cleaning, Upholstery cleaning, Tile & Grout cleaning, Wood Floor cleaning & refinishing and Oriental Rug cleaning — both in-​home and at our specialized cleaning plant in Laguna Niguel. You can drop off your rug or we can arrange to come pick it up from you. We also specialize in the complete removal of pet odors and difficult stains from carpet, upholstery and rugs.

History

Established in 1996.

Haines & Cross originally was founded as a company cleaning model homes for residential home builders. Eric Bollmann, the current owner, slowly moved the business toward cleaning carpet and upholstery. Over the years we’ve added several other services, always making sure that we’d be able to provide the best service for each new cleaning discipline we offered. In May of 2011 we moved into our new, state-​of-​the-​art, rug cleaning building in Laguna Niguel.

Eric has been in the cleaning industry since 1988 and has owned Haines & Cross since 1996. He prides himself on knowing all that there is to know about carpets, area rugs and the methods used for cleaning them. He’s the past President of the Carpet & Fabricare Institute and is a certified master cleaner by the IICRC. Our heirloom rug went to this company in the early summer for repair and cleaning. Perhaps they are good at in home carpet cleaning — not terribly difficult — but for your area rugs I would not recommend them. After several months, we still do not have our rug back — they damaged our rug border, I asked them to fix the damage and now I cannot get them to return our rug — it is now 3 months we have been without our living room area rug. I have contacted two different offices. I receive e-​mails saying they will deliver and then silence again. I am writing this review in the hope that they will return my rug.

A wonderful experience. Mario was on time, friendly, and did an excellent job, even spending quite a bit of extra time on the problem areas of our slate floor. I would definitely recommend Haines & Cross to anyone who needs their floor cleaned.

Today I had my entire upstairs cleaned by Sal. Seriously, Sal is a little touch of awesome! He was so nice, professional, thorough and expedient. I have not had one bad experience with H&C to date (knock on wood!). I don’t think that you will be disappointed if you choose to work with them for your house.

Great service and excellent job at cleaning carpet and furniture. They get the worst stains out, including pet stain and odor. The people are courteous and professional, show up when they say and get the job completed. Can’t say enough good things about Sal and Moses who have been at our house multiple times. Use H&C and you will be extremely happy with the results.

Extremely professional and pleasant to work with. Very good prices, especially after an online coupon. We had to reschedule our apartment cleaning and it was no problem. They arrived promptly and even left little booties to wear if we needed to walk on the carpet before it dried. Would definitely use again and recommend to anyone.

First off, I have white carpet with two dogs and an outdoor cat. You can just imagaine what my carpet looks like. Erics crew came out, and within 4 hours got every stain and track marks out! Second, I have white microfiber couches (We got the carpet and couches before the animals came along), and they even cleaned those! The couches look brand new! (Phew, because we cant afford new couches) Eric is affordable, reliable, and proffessional. I will definately tell everyone about his services!

My dog chewed up a pen getting a lot of ink on a brand new, expensive rug. Everyone told me that ink is extremely difficult (and sometimes impossible) to remove so I called a friend whom I knew would have a good contact. She recommended Haines and Cross. I called them up and they came out quickly. They were friendly, professional, knowledgeable and on-​time. I was shocked that they were able to remove the entire stain and the rug looks brand new again. I am absolutely thrilled with the results and would highly recommend them!

Haines and Cross came to our office building and did a great job. We had some pretty tough coffee stains in our large meeting room and they got them out and the carpet looks great. It was a big job and they got it done in record time. They guarantee all their work and if a stubborn stain re-​appears they come in and go after it again! Their quote was very competitive! Haines and Cross did an amazing job on my carpets!!! I’ve tried other big name cleaning companies and small local ones too but no one made my carpets look as good as Haines and Cross did. With a toddler at home, my carpet was very stained w/​spills and I thought I would have to replace them soon but I was wrong. Eric and his guys were very timely, professional and nice. They even removed an old candle wax «puddle» that other carpet cleaners ignored. My parents used their services too and their carpet, especially the stairs, look GREAT!

Eric came out to deep clean my wood floors. I’ve never had this done before and Eric took the time to explain the process, the various prices, etc. Soon after I met with Eric I scheduled him to come out and clean the wood floors. All I can say is «Wow». They looked like brand new floors and can’t say enough about the job they did!

I was very impressed from start to finish. I have had bad experiences with past carpet cleaners who do a quick in-​and-​out and every year try a new company. I feel that I have finally found a company that I can start a long business relationship! Yeah!
Eric was very professional from the beginning to end. Communication before the appointment was clear and defined the work to be performed before he showed up. His office called and confirmed the appointment the night before and he called 15 minutes before arrival to state he was on his way. I liked that he quoted only the carpet area to be cleaned; so I did not have to pay for area space under large furniture which is usually added into «by room» square footage quote that other companys do.
Since I have light carpet and two dogs, I was worried that they carpet wouldnt come clean. Eric pretreated, agitated and did extraction cleaning. He went over the carpet SEVERAL times vs other companys do a once-​over. The carpet is fresh, fuller and CLEAN! I am thrilled and happy that I wont have to interview anymore carpet cleaners.
Pricing is reasonable for what you get. But then I believe you get what you pay for.
