McCool Flowers

I live in Northern California, so looked online for florists close to my sister in Laguna. I saw some reviews about McCool and checked their website. I was looking for original arrangements and liked what I saw. I ordered a beautiful plant arrangement and immediately got an e-​mail acknowledgement. But, what was even better was when the order was ready to go, they sent me a picture before it went out the door! An additional e-​mail is sent when it’s delivered-​so no guesswork! My sister was thrilled with her beautiful arrangement and I was too! I highly recommend McCool Flowers!

I bought the most expensive corsage that they had on their board, paying over $ 38 for it. When I picked it up, it seemed very small and unimpressive. I decided to live with it because the dance was that day and it was to late to go somewhere else. My suspicions were correct when the corsage was compared to others in the group, but the reason I am posting on Unilocal is that not only was her corsage the smallest it proceeded to fall apart as we were taking pictures. My son and I were completely embarrassed.

I ordered a birthday bouquet for my friend the day of and needed the flowers delivered before 1pm. McCool Flowers not only delivered on time, but also sent me updates with photos along the way (ie. once the bouquet was complete and once it was delivered) and created a beautiful arrangement that brightened my friend’s day. Thank you so much!

I’ve purchased flowers here a few times, and dozens of times elsewhere over the years. I can confidently say that I have never seen such high quality flowers, and highly recommend them. Their flowers always stay fresh long, their service is great, and they work to get you what you want. I’ve called for a custom bouquet and they had it ready for me in 30 minutes. Awesome place and will never go elsewhere. Thank you guys.

Bought for Valentine’s Day and paid $ 50 for a bouquet flowers that I wouldn’t spend $ 10 on them. Vary very expensive place. I asked for red roses and got pink roses instead. I will not get flowers from this place. I am very disappointed.

Unbelievable service. I will never order flowers from anyone else. 3 separate emails and a photo of the actual plant I ordered before it left the shop to be delivered…18 hours after I ordered it.

I’m giving 5 stars because their customer service is amazing even though there was a mistake Cathy McCool the owner actually reached out to make sure my needs are met and actually resend a new set of flowers. I will definitely continue with them because she was such a sweet heart to reach out and making sure I was happy with my service. I am new to Laguna Niguel and checked Unilocal for positive reviews on a local florist and McCool Flowers was the unanimous choice. I called and the owner, Cathy McCool answered the phone in a bright and cheerful voice. I explained what I needed and she listened to what I was looking for and understood my request the first time which was very refreshing.
Since I was attending an event in Hollywood and the Red Carpet, she spruced up the arrangement up to make it look absolutely fantastic and I was very happy.

This review is about wedding services. Cathy and her amazing team did an AMAZING job for my wedding. My flowers were beautiful. Working with Cathy was an absolute pleasure. She answered all of my questions, whether it be in an email or a quick pop in to her store. The bouquets and floral arrangements were beautiful. I did not stress because I knew I was in good hands. She has a nice consultation setup where you can view past weddings. This was great because I was able to share what I liked and what I wanted. She knew what flowers would be in season and which would not. An amazing store and staff.

I love this place! Their super friendly, helpful, and quick service. I order some flowers sometime in the afternoon, and was afraid they wouldn’t be able to deliver them that day, but they did! And the arrangements I’ve order all came out perfect!!! I highly recommend them! I will be a returning customer!!! :)

I swung by around 4:45pm the afternoon of my wife’s birthday to pick up a last second bouquet and was greeted and helped by Candy – the sweetest, most helpful, and most positive person ever! (I actually thought she was the owner based on her positive, get-​it-​done attitude)
She helped me put together a bouquet in no time and made sure everything was fresh and beautiful. She was awesome!
I had reservations at Salt Greek Grille for 6:30pm and the thought hit me that it would be nice to surprise my wife with flowers waiting for her at our table… so I asked if McCool could deliver the flowers between 6:00pm-6:15pm (late notice I know… I’m a poor planner). Unfortunately, they close at 6:00pm, the only person available to complete the delivery would be leaving soon, and Candy’s shift ended at 6pm (meaning she would have to stay to close for the evening). No delivery was not a big deal given my ridiculously late request/​notice. I started to think of how to work the flowers into the evening some other way… but thats when Candy said, «Actually, I’ll just bring your flowers to Salt Creek on my way home!»
We got to dinner at 6:30 that night. The flowers were there waiting at our table and looking absolutely amazing. The smile and surprise on my wife’s face was priceless.

I used McCool flowers for my wedding bouquets and boutonnieres after my original florist could no longer help us. Because of that, my request was very last minute but Cathy assured us that she would be able to assist — and she definitely did.
Cathy absolutely listened to what I wanted for our wedding and our flowers were PERFECT — they were truly everything I had envisioned for our bouquets (and boutonnieres… though those aren’t as much of a staple as bouquets are: D). I can’t speak highly enough about how great Cathy and her team were in listening to my needs, last minute accommodations, affordability, and overall delivery of her product.

Service is outstanding. I called the day before valentine’s day. I wanted to order a corsage for my daughter. They took the order promptly and it was ready in only 4 hours! And it was custom made exactly as I wanted too. Other flower shops either did not even bother to answer the phone or told me I should have placed an order a week ago.

This place provides exceptional floral products. The arrangements are always loved and the service is second to none.

While the floral arrangement was beautiful, we felt grossly overcharged for what we received. For less than two dozen roses arranged in a vase, it was $ 200. Because we needed something for a funeral, we didn’t think much about costs until after the fact. Our bad.
