Since 1992, MV Dance & Performing Arts has been offering professional dance instruction to students ages 2-adult, from beginning to professional level. Our facility has 7 studios, 22 highly qualified faculty members, 2 annual productions, a nationally ranked Competitive program, a ballet company, a modern company, and master classes with guest teachers from around the world.
MV Dance & Performing Arts offers professional instruction in ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, break, tumbling, musical theatre, acrobatics, lyrical, pointe, modern, hipical, pilates, zumba, stretch & conditioning, leaps & turns, competitive dance, acting, singing, and mommy and me. We have over 75 boys enrolled in our school. We have 20 classes for adults. And we have the largest pre-academy dance program in Orange County.
History
Established in 1992.
Originally located in Mission Viejo, MV Dance & Performing Arts moved to Laguna Niguel in 1998. Ownership changed in 2002 and the school has expanded its facility and faculty 3 times in the last decade.
The competitive program started in 2002. Two pre-professional companies joined our program in 2009, American Ballet Company and Compass Dance Modern Company. Several current and former students have been hired to dance for music videos, Radio City Rockettes, Disney, television commercials, and more.

Jena M.
Business Owner
Jena Minnick-Harry (Director/Owner/Teacher) has over 24 years of dance training and 18 years of teaching and choreography experience. She has a BS in Marketing and Minor in Psychology from Johnson & Wales University in Providence, RI. She is a Graduate of Ballet from Casalino School of Ballet and Creative Arts in Salt Lake City, UT. She is the Founding Member and current President of Dance Discovery Foundation in Orange County. She’s trained in jazz, lyrical, ballet, classical voice, musical theater, tap, & modern in Salt Lake City, New York City, Providence RI, and Orange County. She has performed with Ballet West, Utah Ballet Company, Saddleback Civic Light Opera, and Long Beach Opera Company. She has received awards for her choreography at several regional & national competitions and has directed and produced eight shows with over 200 cast members. She has worked in management since 1996 combining her business and dance skills to dedicate her life to bringing dance to her community.
