History

Established in 2011.

The United States Navy Sea, Air and Land (SEAL) Teams, commonly known as Navy SEALs, are the U.S. Navy’s principal special operations force and is a part of the Naval Special Warfare Command (NSWC) as well as the maritime component of the United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM).

The unit’s acronym («SEAL») is derived from their capacity to operate at sea, in the air and on land, but it is their ability to work underwater that separates SEALs from most other military units in the world. The experience gained from operating in the ocean and fresh water battle fields has shaped their identity and, as a result, they are regarded as being amongst the most highly skilled and trained amphibious units in the world[citation needed]. Business Owner

Former Navy SEAL Nathanael Roberti, aka «Lalo,» graduated BUD/​S Class 247 and was assigned to SEAL Team TEN in Little Creek, Virginia. Lalo was deployed to Afghanistan in 2005, his first combat deployment. He participated in over 50 combat operations including Operation Red-​Wing on June 28^th, 2005 where eleven of his SEAL teammates were killed.

Lalo Roberti has received recognition and awards from the Navy, including a Commendation with Combat «V» for his service during Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan. He was designated by his instructors as «Honor Man» from SEAL Explosive Breacher School, and was entrusted with the duties of «Lead Breacher» on two combat deployments.
