Ursula’s Pet Grooming & Day Spa

I really appreciate this place. Our dogs are part of the family, so it’s so important who you leave them with.
The best thing I can say is that our dog Joli actually gets excited when we get here.
I think that says a lot. What dog likes going to the groomer?! Well, she does when we come here!
Then when I pick her up, she looks so beautiful.
I love the bows they make here. (Super cute) And they don’t cut her eyelashes… which is a major pet peeve of mine. My dog has these amazing eyelashes, and a lot of the other people cut them in the process of trimming her hair, (even when I’ve asked them not to.) It makes me so sad. It seems like all of the groomers that have worked on Joli just get that, without me even mentioning it. So nice.
Now we have a new little puppy in the family, and so we’ll be bringing her when she’s visiting us too. I already took her by, just to get used to the groomers.
They took her back, and let her feel the clippers, just to give her a good first experience.
I thought that was very thoughtful and kind.
I really recommend them for your dog!

I took my dogs there and Sharon cut my dog hair and messed up really badly and she was a complete bitch and don’t let me say about the manager she sure wasn’t a manager hate them and wouldn’t go back there anymore and don’t recommended to no body

I took my jack russel, Brandy, to Ursula’s. I warned the sweet girl Sharon that she is a bit of a crab and may be a handful. She took the time to go over all my concerns. Not only did Brandy look better than she ever has, I don’t think she wanted to leave!!! So now I have the best groomer in the world and I think Brandy has a new best friend.

I took my Chihuahua terrier mix rescue in to get a trim and a bath for the first time. Wendy the groomer came out to greet me and asked what I wanted. I told her my concerns about my dog having issues with loud noises and what I wanted done. She assured me she would take care of her and use battery operated clippers that weren’t as noisy as the ones she normally used. She even called me while my dog was in her care to let me know she found a small old scab/​scratch on my dog’s neck that I hadn’t noticed with all her fur. When I went to pick her up I couldn’t be happier. My sweet shedding hairy ball of fur looked like a perfectly groomed short haired Chihuahua. Wendy the groomer is wonderful!
I have read some other reviews about people getting mad that it took hours to get their dog groomed. If you make an appointment, its not a problem. While I was there a lady tried to drop off her dogs without an appointment. The receptionist at the desk told her it would be a few hours and couldn’t give her an exact time to come back as the customer was demanding to know why. The receptionist calmly explained to her it was a busy Saturday so she couldn’t say when and that if the lady wanted her dogs groomed she would have to leave them and wait for a call back. So hello people, a little common sense! You’re not first in line, sometimes you have to wait!

So I initially left a one star review BC I had some issues but changed my review to 4 stars BC the daughter (I believe her name is Suzy) was really nice about making the situation right. However, Im going back to one star BC her mother (who is the older lady that answers the phone most of the time) is so rude and extremely unprofessional.
We brought our bulldog there to be groomed with a deshedding treatment and to have his anal glands expressed. When I went to pick him up he was still damp and shedding everywhere! I brought him back and even her mother said he still had a lot to shed the second time, which means the job wasn’t done properly to begin with. Later than night when we got home, we realized that his anal glands weren’t taken care of and he stunk like crazy! Not only that, they brushed him so hard that he had scrapes all over his back. Suzy was kind enough to apologize for the situation and took care of his anal glands. After all that mess, I noticed him twitching and looked at his ear and he had a major ear infection. When I called in the next morning, her mother answered the phone and rudely tried to dismiss the situation saying that it wasn’t their fault when it clearly was. Also, she would have known if he had an ear infection when I initially brought him in as they check them first and during the grooming. She continued to talk over me telling me that it wasn’t their fault and eventually hung up on me! We called her back and after more rudeness, she finally agreed to take care of the situation. I’ll definitely never be back and I’ll spread the word not to take your pets there especially if she is there!

I just picked up my sweet rescue dog and she looks so cute now! They did a great job, were very sweet to my pup and the facility was very clean. Also, the price was quite reasonable. Couldn’t ask for more! We’ll be back next month!

Dropped my dog off first thing in the morning, told the staff I would back to pick him up around 12:30, the lady assured me he would be done by then. When I arrived at 12:30 they had not even started grooming him! I had to wait 45 min and pay my sitter overtime… So not worth it!

We love how our Havanese looks when he gets groomed here — very friendly staff and they are very skiilled at cutting his fur the right length. We’ve tried many groomers — Ursula’s is the best!

This place does not know how to wash English Bulldogs. All of the wrinkles on my males face still were covered in dirt mixed with soapy water residue. Also my females tail was not washed at all leaving her smelling stinky. They both had a dirty film still on them when they were picked up. And 2 med Bulldogs for $ 90. Yikes that is super steep. The people were nice but very bad quality. Never going there again!

Wow, bargain of the century!
Brought my 16# Ragdoll cat in today to shave off a few mats that I found and a nail trim.
Super nice on the phone, they were able to take us quickly (no big deal if they couldn’t though), and a rather fast turn-​around time. TIP: if you will only be a short while, wait in there, do NOT go to the hardware store next door or your total bill for the outing will quadruple!
It’s hard to find groomers that will deal with cats so I really appreciated that they did so as well as quickly and for a steal — the shaving of the four mats and a nail trim, $ 20!
My dog doesn’t know it yet, but she’s going next week!

Ursula’s pet salon did a great job shaving my obese cat that I recently adopted. They really cleaned her up good! It didn’t take too long and they charged a very reasonable rate. I would recommend this business. Thank you Ursula! John

My 7 month old black labrador, Shiloh, comes home from Ursula’s looking fabulous! He coat is shiny, she smells wonderful, and is so happy. She also is sporting a cute bandana, which is a nice touch.
She is usually groomed by Terry, who is so nice and friendly! I brought my yellow labs to her for a few years before they passed away. A year and a half later, she still remembered me and my girls. Shiloh now loves her just as much as they did!
I have noting but positive things to say about Ursula’s and the staff!

Caspar is a 14 years old pure white American Eskimo. As he is a mature old guy he is the one that decides who lays their hand on him.Seriously.over the years he has been great with some groomers and I would have to drag him to go to others. All that said, He LOVES Ursulas. It’s a 20 minute drive from me and it is more than worth it. They always try to fit him in and they are as accommodating as possible given how busy they are. I found them here and I am so glad.

Caring, polite, professional, and reasonably priced. My dogs are difficult at times and I was concerned about taking them to a groomer and what kind of experience it would be for them. One of my dogs is petrified of water. When they were done I could tell they had a good experience by the way they responed to the groomer. I am very happy and will be a regular.

What a AWESOME find!
We looked on Unilocal to find a groomer for our dog and decided to try Ursula’s. They were so friendly, so knowledgeable and confirmed exactly the groom we wanted. Our kids came out happy, the cut we wanted and we’ll be customers for life!

We’ve been taking our dog Winston here for a few years now and are always really happy with the results. We were just looking at old pictures and remembered how much we loved his cut as a puppy, so we figured we’d bring in a photo and ask if they can do it. Sure enough they delivered! He looks so stinkin cute that I laughed my ass off til I cried. No joke. We are stoked!

I seriously never write reviews, but Ursula’s deserves it! I have never loved taking my Maximus and Camaro to any groomer, it was always too expensive, they came back stressed out and the cut was always eh… but then I found Ursula’s! Terry is a doll and always remembers me and my boys! Camaro is a beagle, so no groom involved, for him its all about experience, and when we pull up out front or I say groomer he goes crazy with excitement! Thats the sort of reaction I want! Maximus on the other hand is a Cocker, and he always comes home fluffy, fresh and happy!
Y’all are a gem and I officially won’t take my boys anywhere else as long as we live here!

Great experience! Our German Shepard really enjoyed the experience and looked great! If your looking for an independently own and Owner who cares about you as a customer look no further Ursula great!
Pricing was reasonable and inline or less then most all the competitors we shopped.

The front staff is friendly, but busy. I don’t mind that at all. It’s the actual person that is grooming my dog that’s important to me. Nicole is my hero! She has customer services skills with both pets and humans, if you know what I mean. She will take the time to call you if she has a question or something comes up during her time grooming.
That way, no surprises with the doggie styling. My doggie was calm and relaxed when I picked him up which is Doggie talk for, bring me back Mom.

I bring my pit bull puppy here and love it! They handle him so well, and he comes home looking amazing.
I also board him here when I go out of town. They have a playroom that the large boarder dogs stay in with toys and a dog bed. I love that he gets so much space and attention when I travel.
I won’t bring Taz anywhere else!
