We care for your pets like they are our own and tailor our visits to your lifestyle. We provide mid-day walks for those long days at work. You can also call us for single visits for walks and/or feedings in the morning and evening. Going away for the weekend or on a vacation? Place your pets in our full-time care and we’ll also see to your home with mail retrieval and plant care. We’ll also alternate the lights and take trash bins to the curb if necessary. Don’t have pets but want us to check on your home during your vacation? We provide that service as well. Try us. You’ll like us!
History
Established in 2008.
While You R Away West serves Aliso Viejo, Laguna Niguel, Laguna Hills, Laguna Woods, South Laguna Beach and Dana Point. WYRA began in 2000 with the Ladera Ranch location but has since expanded to several locations covering just about all of South OC. Owner Beverly Oden joined the WYRA family in 2004 and branched off to start the Beach Cities location in 2008. A pet owner and pet lover all of her life, Beverly and her staff members love spending their days providing care for all types of pets and we all look forward to meeting you and yours!

As a pet owner all of my life, I know how important it is to find someone that you can trust to treat your pets and your home like they would treat their own. In 2004, I met Linda Valentine and Michael Klein of While You R Away — Ladera Ranch. I was offered the opportunity to become a pet sitter myself and I jumped at the chance. I loved working with the pets and learned from the best in the business how to provide the highest quality pet care available. In 2008, I took the next step and opened the third While You R Away location just west of the Ladera Ranch service area. I have never enjoyed a profession as much as I enjoy taking care of pets. Each of the pets is unique & special and each day is filled with the laughter and love that only a pet can provide. I enjoy them all and I am thankful each and every day that I can make a living doing what I love.
